Well, by tradition, a small report.

First I made "Perfect Pancakes" with chocolate drops:

Then something like potato pancakes from the series "on the bottom":

Several boiled potatoes were kneaded with a press + an egg, a little flour, a little cheese sauce, fried mushrooms and onions, grated cheese, salt, pepper. All by sight. We had to shoot carefully, everyone tried to fall apart (you can see it in the photo).
But everything is tasty and fast.

I won't say about garlic, but I always make such cutlets with finely chopped onions. So, I give the onion before frying. It is possible at the beginning, but then a very such onion smell is obtained from the mass in the cutlets too. In general, I don't really like it. And I would definitely not leave this mass with onions for later.

This recipe was given to us by my mother's steter once. And there was onion in it, a lot of onions are immediately given and with onions in mayonnaise is infused for at least an hour. This smell always killed me a little afterwards, after an hour. Well, ready-made cutlets also have this rich onion taste. Then I changed the recipe for myself, sometimes I don’t give onions at all, although I’m okay with onions. But more often I just give it before frying. All the same, with onions tastes better.
