Flakes 100 g
Poppy 20 g
Sour cream 20% 2 tbsp. l.
Butter 100 g
Egg 1 PC
Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
Baking powder for the dough 1 tsp
Salt pinch

Cooking method

  • The flour was sifted through a sieve along with baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  • Melted the butter. She knocked the egg with sugar (not particularly zealous), poured sour cream, melted butter and mixed with flour. She poured cereals and poppy seeds, mixed everything thoroughly.
  • The result was a sticky, seemingly not very thick dough. With wet hands she formed cakes and laid them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • The oven is preheated to 180aboutC. Baked for 20 minutes.
  • She took off the hot cookies from the baking sheet.
  • It turned out 12 pieces with a diameter of approximately 7-8 cm.
  • Perfect cookies for your morning breakfast with a cup of milk, homemade yogurt or kefir. Prepares quickly, tasty and crumbly in taste, not very sweet, healthy in composition.

I began to measure the oatmeal, it turned out that the husband had eaten almost the entire pack ... only 60 grams remained. I had to add whole grain flour and 2 tbsp. l. wheat germ up to 100 gr.
Then it turned out that we ate all the poppy! I was so upset, I have no strength. I decided to add a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon to at least brighten up the lack of poppy.
Then I found a bowl of Raffaello cream from Mikhaski - half-eaten 2 tbsp. l. - and they went into the dough.
When I kneaded the dough, such a smell went through the kitchen - stunned! It seemed that the products were also simple, but it smelled so wonderful, like from a foreign confectionery.
Delicate, soft, rather tall, fragrant cookies were baked! The whole grain flour gave it a very special flavor. And not cloying at all. My husband said he smelled like childhood oatmeal cookies.
Delicious cookies! I will definitely bake with more variations!
