Ingredients

Cherry 200 gr.
wheat flour - 1 glass 160 g
butter (margarine) 170 g
sugar (3/4 cup 250 ml) 160 g
grated lemon zest 1 tbsp. the spoon
egg 3 pcs.
almond 80 gr.
salt on the tip of a knife
baking powder for the dough 11 gr.

Cooking method

  • For dough, combine butter, sugar and lemon zest until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking powder and eggs.
  • Add cherries and chopped almonds.
  • Place the mixture in a greased pan and bake at 180 ° C for 1 hour.
  • Let cool in the pan, then place the pie on a plate and serve, tucked in with almonds.
  • You can add a bag of vanilla sugar instead of the zest.
  • Almonds are ground in a coffee grinder. The pie is actually small. Made in a standard silicone mold. Sprinkled on top with powdered sugar.
  • It is a pity that I did not have time to photograph the cutter ... And the pie is just fabulous in taste ...
  • The pie can also be prepared in a multicooker.
  • Only it is in this cake that the dough is not enough for a large multi. I would multiply everything by half. Well, the baking time will be longer.

Made one and a half servings. I took cherries from compote - dried them and rolled them in starch for reliability. Almonds in our village at such a price that we don't keep them at home - replaced with peanuts. Instead of zest, I added 2 tbsp. l. lemon sugar, and the syrup soaked in hot cake and "hare"
