I liked the biscuit on "baking" less than on "porridge". On the "porridge" the biscuit turned out to be soaked in cream and ate it without any additives. And on "baked goods" the biscuit is dry and even the syrup and cream did not make up for the taste of that biscuit.

This is yes (about a biscuit in the sense), but how does it happen that mushrooms with pumpkin are fried at normal pressure in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes, and in a slow cooker on stewing for 1 hour?

Ksyushka, there is no liquid left in the cabbage at all. And under what pressure? I cooked it for "frying vegetables", there was "normal pressure". I got such cabbage only in a cast-iron saucepan and always languished it for 1.5 hours; stirring occasionally. In the cartoon, such a cabbage did not work (maybe not what I did).

Baked "chocolate on boiling water" - 5 + 30 minutes on "porridge". Has risen right under the very "cup" - above 10.

My husband just loves stewed cabbage. But in the MV "water" is not so much shorter. You always have to stew in a saucepan. Maybe now this will happen practically without my participation. I really hope, looking at your result, Vika

Girls, I have a problem ...

How do I turn on the frying vegetable mode?

I am doing this:
put in a pot of butter
closed the lid loosely, the pressure is low, zero
plugged in, jammed the line at the top, and zeros appeared on the display
I press the Fry button - the button does not fury in any way, it does not show any signs of life ...

This may be due to the fact that the pan is hot, before using the Steam program, but not yet cold ...

So. I met Brandon today. Unpacked. First impression - big shhhhhh... But after a couple of minutes I understand that Vika is right - reliable.
I washed it, wiped it all and poured a liter of cold water, set it to "Steam cooking" for 13 minutes by default. The heating lasted exactly 7 minutes, the pressure was increased for two minutes and, accordingly, the program was 13 minutes. The pressure was released manually. Nothing complicated and scary. It's very simple. I shouldn't have been afraid. I think we will become friends. No, not so - SURE! Of course, these are all common truths. But for me, the first time I come face to face with a pressure cooker, everything is new. So forgive me for writing obvious things. But I think the manufacturer will be interested in the fact that a beginner with a half kick figured out their technique.

I liked the saucepan very much. And it's very good that the scale is different from the multicooker one. Since having both of them, it would be possible to get confused, but you won't be confused. (Actual for me, children are always underfoot, I do a lot on the machine: I took it, put it.)

Thank you very much to Brand for such cool gift for March 8

P.S. By the way, yesterday I won an iron in the election lottery. Today on the way to the pressure cooker, I also got a prize. Here is such a wonderful day for me today, the day of my son's 10 months.

Meatball Soup

Soup mode - 20 minutes * 2 times.

Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions
I’ll say right away that I don’t really like the soups in the CF on the "Stew".
Poured 2.5 liters of hot water, put in the meatballs, set Soup to 20 minutes by default. Heating and pressure build-up took 12-15 minutes. During this time, I poured water over 1 tbsp. l. rice, made frying in a pan (onion + carrots) and peeled and cut the potatoes. By the time the program started timing, I had everything ready. Gone to no signal. On a signal, she blew off the pressure I threw in rice, potatoes and frying, salted, set "Soup" for 20 minutes. This time, heating and pressure build-up lasted exactly three minutes. The second time 20 minutes was too much. It could have been less, but less is not provided. The rice was once soaked, boiled, but I wanted that, my daughter ate without noticing it. Potatoes were 20 minutes long, although they kept their shape. At the signal, I relieved the pressure again by hand, added dill and lavrushka and left with the lid closed for 15 minutes. I called the children to dinner! Soup was eaten by both the elder and the younger. Good soup came out, delicious. The total cooking time is probably about an hour. I don't know, maybe I did something wrong. The first time I cooked in a pressure cooker.

on the Yandex market Brand is also presented as a "multicooker-pressure cooker" .. and judging by the reviews and the box - a pressure cooker? That is, is it better as an addition to a multicooker? The main criterion when choosing was what he threw, turned on and left. The main question: at low pressure is it a slow cooker, at high pressure - does it work like a pressure cooker ??
NO!
I have been thinking about the pressure cooker for a long time and this was also my main question. I was convinced that you can cook without pressure. but no, you can't cook without pressure.
only two programs work at normal pressure - baking and frying. None of these modes will be able to cook soup or porridge, for example.
I have not yet fully figured out the technical nuances (although I am trying very hard), but as I now see, the pressure cooker is heating much more intensively than any multicooker. she needs to quickly build up the working pressure, so she spit (this is noticeable in baking). so, even if you start cooking in the PORSE or SOUP mode with an open valve, at the temperature that is created inside, all the food will fly out through the valve.

well, perhaps it will still be possible to cook something at normal pressure from what does not spit and does not rise - well, it may turn out to be extinguished meat ... POSSIBLE !!!

I came - the soup is ready, but here it turns out that if you cook at high pressure, then without letting off steam, the soup will turn into porridge ??
no, well, I would not say that it is straight into porridge ... well, everything will be very soft, but so it is straight into the dust - no. everything keeps its shape and looks very dignified.
but regarding the release of steam - yes, before you open it, you will have to wait or release it yourself. Personally, it seems logical to me to wait for the pressure cooker to cope with the pressure on its own, but then the name SKOROVarka does not seem logical to me. since the process is lengthened by 20 minutes.

so not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance.

It is an excellent addition to the multicooker, but not as a replacement, but a completely different unit from the MV. The pressure cooker has its pros and cons (although I haven't found them yet, but I think there are)
And for a newbie mother-in-law, perhaps MV would be better suited, without pressure. Although I don't know how advanced you are. My mom, for example, is terribly afraid of technology. The best arsenal for her is a knife, a board, a saucepan and any source of heat. Of course, there is nothing difficult to handle, but cooking in it is a bit unusual. And the flaws are more difficult to fix, the lid slammed shut and truncated, wait for the signal. Of course, it's up to you to decide. But I am very happy to have a pressure cooker in my kitchen.

Manna, I can tell right away from the rice porridge. In Cherry, I cook it from the same amount of ingredients (cereal: liquid = 1: 5), mode "Milk porridge" for 30-40 minutes. And I insist for another 20-60 minutes, so that it softens, softens. Otherwise, in the rice it will seem like bones - small hard places. And I began to cook porridge more often at night and leave it to infuse right in the cartoon until morning, then everything is fine. Yesterday in the night I cooked from the same rice, from one package straight and in the same proportions. As already mentioned, "Porridge" - 13 minutes (total time about 30 minutes).
