Buckwheat porridge - RIS mode

Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions

I will add a little less water, I did it for the first time in SV. I'm happy with the result.

Girls, this is what I thought ...

If each of us has ready-made full-fledged recipes with photos, with a description of the cooking process, master classes and so on ... even small recipes - let's put them on separate topics!

So it will be more convenient to search for them, watch them, read the description - and so a small gallery of our recipes will gradually develop, here HERE

And here, in the general topic, we leave only a photo, a link to the recipe ... and all general questions and discussion of the pan ... and our la-la

Buckwheat meatballs
"MEAT" - 15 minutes + 6 minutes pressure gain
Frozen I poured meatballs with sour cream sauce, tomato paste, herbs.
After four minutes, turning on the pressure cooker, there was already the smell of meatballs. For frozen meatballs, 21 minutes was even a lot.

Boiled beans

The beans were soaked for 12 hours, the water was drained.
Cooked in fresh water, BEAN mode, one cycle.
The amount of beans was up to 1/5, water up to 8, so the pressure was accumulated for a long time, and the pressure release lasted 25 minutes.

But the result pleased me!

Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions

Admin

Olya, the result was impressive - considering that I "find fault" a lot to the technique

The total time was 15 (20?) + 30 + 25 minutes = 70 minutes APPROXIMATELY! You can't cook beans so quickly in a cartoon or in an ordinary saucepan, I agree.
The mode is very neat, I did not splash the beans on the pulp separately, the skins separately

Tanya-Romchik, about buckwheat in more detail, p-l-l-z - I make it quite often, and my family and I have high requirements for this dish - so that a grain to a grain is on "rice" - is it by default with a closed valve? Doesn't it boil over? What about the ratio of cereal + water? I adapted to CF, but I did it twice in the old lacquer - I didn't like it, I didn't do it anymore.
Admin
Olya, for buckwheat in a multicooker, I take a ratio of 1 multi-glass x 3 water, if 2 cups of cereal, then 500 ml. water
The porridge is dry and crumbly.

In Brand, I prepared a full cycle on Rice, with pressure relief, in total it turned out 30 minutes.
I compare it with the cooking time on the stove - the porridge is cooked for about 14 minutes and then we languish it.

Here you need to adapt to the water, sometimes I pour water by eye, a finger above the cereal.
I did it in Brand for the first time, doubted whether to pour more water or not, well, I added a little more - it turned out to be superfluous. The porridge is cooked, but a little sticky. We learn from our own mistakes

My husband comes into the kitchen on March 7th, looks at my entire exhibition of technology and says, they say you have everything.I told him: not everything, the pressure cooker is not enough. Well, since it was on the eve of the holiday, he could not say anything other than "buy".
At last ! I want a pressure cooker for 2 years.
Went to order Polaris and came across an ad for Brand. In general, I didn't really have time to dream about it, I immediately ordered it.
I read Temka. I'm waiting for delivery, but my hands are itching. It is necessary to draw up a menu for a week in advance, so that later you can just cook it up, and not puzzle over the question of "what to cook."

Today I cooked soup - pea - mung bean, ordinary yellow peas with brisket. Programs - frying vegetables 1 min. - onions with carrots, legumes and soup. Well, very pleased with the result! And I am doing fish now on the "frying - fish" program - very successfully!
I fry with a regular lid - I have sized it so that drops do not run into the heating compartment.
What is missing - in my opinion - the on / off buttons.

I poured boiling water over the potatoes. I released the pressure immediately and opened the lid of the pressure cooker. It turned out that 20 minutes is a lot for potatoes.

Girls, I've been a pressure cooker for a week now (thanks Elena Br and Supercow)

So far there is nothing to report on. For two reasons.
1. It is my property not to show an overwhelming curiosity about kitchen appliances. Probably, none of my favorite working devices was put into operation immediately upon purchase - almost all of them were aged, "pickled" in the house from several days to several months.
2. "It's just that the planets are not steel, they are not furnished, the cards are ne-ne-ne-ne lagly ..." (c) - a part of my family got sick with some kind of intestinal virus, so I just can't cook normal amounts of food.

So, mastering the technique will begin only the other day.

I support the wish - there is not enough drip tray (or something similar) and an on / off button.

I also raise the lid and wait for the liquid to drain back into the pan, or quickly transfer it to the sink, but there is still a path from drops on the table

What for? In the multicooker, too, no and no one seems to ask. Maybe I don't understand something and I need her too.
Admin

For example, I am "annoyed" by red stripes on the scoreboard, all the time it seems that the pan is on and working
I unplug the pot if I don't cook in it.

How should it be right? Need to disconnect?
Well, if the manufacturer intended that the buttons should burn at rest, then nothing terrible will happen to the pan?
Elena Bo
You can simply turn it off like the multicooker with the Cancel button, and do not turn it off from the network. I consulted about this.
MariV
From the experience of handling a lacquer - when I turn off the power supply, the cooling and pressure release occurs faster.
From the instructions for this CB - page 12 - above - tips - point 2.
Perhaps this is my personal experience.
At the end of the work, I also disconnect the MV from the network.
I already have it at the level of an unconditioned reflex.

I cooked vegetables - potatoes with carrots - for a salad. I was too lazy, I put eggs there too - why cook them separately? I added 3 teaspoons of salt to a saucepan with water and vegetables, put it on "STEAMING" - 5 minutes with pressure. Then it stood for 10 minutes on heating, then disconnected it from the network. Everything was cooked at its best! Well, except for the eggs ...... slightly overcooked - nothing!

Girls, tell me, is this pressure cooker very loud? Thank you.
I still can't decide where to start communicating with the multicooker: Brand 6050 or Brand 37502. Somehow I'm afraid of pressure cookers, but they are such magic sticks ...

My girlfriend was also afraid to buy a pressure cooker, they bought her Brand 37502, and me 6050. And now she calls me and whines every day, repenting that she did not listen to me. How can I not whine, I wait for my porridge for 30 minutes, and it is 1.30 minutes.

About sounds - she sometimes, especially at the beginning of work, sometimes grunts and groans - but this is not for long. The hissing - also quickly ends - gained pressure and calmed down.

vernisag , and what kind of porridge are we talking about? At 502, the minimum time can be set to 30 minutes. And in a pressure cooker, the time of set and discharge of steam must be added to the cooking time. In general, this is a discussion for the topic Multicooker or pressure cooker.

Well, about dairy, of course, in a pressure cooker for 13 minutes + a set and release of pressure, and in mv 1 hour the program works + on heating comes.

Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions

The porridge is completely ready, boiled as it should! It should be noted that the pressure cooker cooks well a large portion of porridge, and the cereal is completely boiled down both at the bottom and at the top, the milk does not escape, although there were milk "scraps" on the lid.

I do not know. The eggs are in the shell, suddenly there is pressure inside, and not a single degree of protection. I'm still waiting for my pressure cooker, there is no experience of dealing with such an animal. So I'm afraid, and different questions arise.

Figure:
Rice washed, a little fried with oil on the Fry. Added 1 tbsp. rice 1.5 tbsp. hot water because the bowl is hot. Rice under pressure mode. Turned off forcibly after 6 minutes. and immediately released the pressure.
The rice mode should be made by default no more than 5 minutes.

Loose buckwheat porridge cooked today.
I went through one and a half measuring cups from SV, put them in a bowl and put cereals on the program "frying" - 20 minutes. Gently stir a couple of times so as not to scratch the bowl. Excellent grits calcined!
Then she poured it with warm water - 3 measuring cups, added salt to taste and put it on the "porridge" with the valve closed for 4 minutes. Then I left it for another hour, disconnecting it from the network.
It turned out the way we like it - crumbly and normally boiled.

Thank you, Tanya. These cutlets are very fond of my homemade. They are light, especially if not heavily roasted. And in the Brand pressure cooker it is quite possible, and there is no need to watch and there is an opportunity to do something else, this is important for us women. They always burned in my frying pan.

girls, for those who are in the tank, explain how it fried the fish for 20 minutes, turned it over in the middle .. I just wanted to buy a multicooker, did not decide on the model and decided to wait for the forest when they would upgrade 502 and 501 .. but for now I wanted to buy this pressure cooker .. only this will be my first skillful knuckles .. so I think if I can handle it ..
