Waffles for straws

Ingredients

Melted margarine 250 g
Egg 5 pieces
Sugar 1/2 tbsp.
Flour 10 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • I also have a Soviet-era waffle iron for thin waffles (made in Latvia). Sometimes I take it out to pamper seven straws and use this recipe:
  • Beat eggs with sugar, add margarine, then flour.
  • Since my waffle iron does not have a non-stick coating (there was no such coating then), I ignite it empty, grease the rast before the first baking. oil with a brush, apply two tbsp. spoons of dough (side by side), less than a minute and the waffle is ready. Very crispy. We usually make straws with filling. But you can also make a cake. It turns out very tasty.
