Girls, this ham maker is correctly called Shunkovar, mk Shunka means ham.
Now I want her, damn it!
Just buy it so that the thermometer is included, otherwise I took it separately, it turned out more expensive and two more deliveries.
Written in the instructions: for making shanks, ham, shanks. Misuse prohibited... I wonder what they mean?

Tanya! Congratulations! Looks great! So thorough ...
And beautiful! We are waiting for the test report. When is the first bookmark planned?
Thank you so much! And the first tab is in a couple of days (or rather, in the same place, you first need 2 days in the refrigerator, so by Thursday we can have ham). It won't work before. Tomorrow, finally, in our city there will be no time for that, in the sense that meat sellers will have a rest or something.
Masinen
Google gave me a bunch of Polish sites. I'm thinking maybe in Poland to see?
When do I promise to bring you to Moscow?
Elena Tim, I do not ignore, I meditate)
Mona1
The only thing that there are no legs in it, as in Teskomovskaya, is a minus, so it is necessary to invent a replacement. So as not to direct the meat to the burner.
Olima
TanechkaHow wonderful that you already have your assistant. I'm waiting for your verdict on this tsatse, as soon as you give the go-ahead, I will immediately order one for myself
Mona1
Agreed! Toko days in 4 -5, there on the trail. I'll get a sandwich maker in a week, I ordered a Dex 26, it is 6 in 1. So you can immediately start eating sandwiches with ham, cheese and tomatoes.

No problem. A folded strip of aluminum and screwed to it (mine is riveted). We put it on the bottom of the saucepan, and on it the ham.
Kitchen stuff (1)
And in the first year I generally used a piece of aluminum wire bent and twisted in the same way. In the form of a Mercedes emblem.
Mona1
Yes, all ingenious is simple.
Elena Tim
Tanya, do you have a metal hot plate? They are on legs. And you don't need to invent anything.
Something like this is fine:

Svetta
On the bottom, you can generally put sushi sticks or the like.
Tanyusha
My ham has been chilling in the refrigerator for 5 hours already, and it is already tempting to take it out, but I will probably wait until morning.
Merri
Tanyusha, congratulations on the new product! Electric ham maker?
Mona1
No, simple, you need to put it in a pot of water and cook it at 80-85 degrees.
Merri
Tanya, and Teskomovskie also for the stove? I didn't find any ham on their website.

Tanya, do you have a metal hot plate? They are on legs. And nothing needs to be invented.
No, I have two side walls from a Soviet barbecue, like this
Kitchen stuff (1)
There, the side walls are inserted into the bottom with such L-shaped protrusions. If you put them one on one, you get a rectangular stand with legs about 1 cm high. I put this thing in my HP and put the dough on it in 2 brick aluminum molds. And then without a stand they fall there, the bottom is uneven in the HP.

Teskomovskie also boil on a stove like. Toko they are plastic. And this one is stainless steel, in it, if you can bake it in the oven and not be afraid, it will melt.
Tanyusha
Teskomovskie is also for the stove, it is also done in a pot of water at a temperature of 75-85C.
Merri
I reviewed all the pots on the Teskomovsky site, I did not find anything like it.
Tanyusha
They were in the same artware store, but they were instantly disassembled and removed from the site.

We have such asparagus-pasta-cooking pans three times more expensive than a ham
Mona1, Tanya, and in the instructions for the shredder, does anything say about the temperature inside? And then I'm thinking of buying two thermometers (for water and for meat) or will one be enough?
Mona1
Marfa Vasilievna, Natasha, in the instruction itself there is nothing about this, but there is a hole on top and the thermometer must be inserted there, it measures the meat inside. But the water must be measured separately. I have a glass thermometer for conservation - up to 100 degrees. I’ll measure it for now, periodically lowering it into the water, but it’s more convenient, of course, so that it is so that it can be hung on the side of the pan and so that it hangs there the whole process, I can buy it someday.
And the one that I bought separately for the ham maker - it has a probe length of 16 cm. It turned out that it is too long if you stick it in to its entire length. I'd take 2-3 centimeters shorter. But, in principle, it is better to let it be longer than shorter than necessary. Well I can not stick it all the way. But, if it's shorter than necessary, then you can't do anything here if you don't get it where you need it.

And the saucepan in which I will cook - I have an ordinary enamel, Soviet times, height 17.5 cm, I usually cook compote in it in summer, and the rest of the place is idle. The husband kept muttering, saying, it's time to throw it out, there is old rubbish. And here it comes in handy.
Marfa Vasilievna
Tanya, thanks for the answer. So you need to take two thermometers
Doxy
Natalia, there is no need, especially for ham, to take two thermometers!
Buy one meat thermometer, the main thing is the water temperature! During the entire cooking process, control the temperature of the water in the pan with it, when it becomes clear on which flame (burner mode) the temperature is kept in the desired range, remove the thermometer from the water and stick it into the ham!
Why spend extra? The meat thermometer can be hooked onto the edge of a ham or saucepan with a regular paper clip!
Mona1
In BIOWIN, you cannot hook on the edge, there is a lid on top without protrusions, it seems to lie on a glass, like a lid on a regular saucepan. So, if you secure it with a paper clip, then only by the edge of the pan in which there is water.
Doxy
Tanya, the paper clips can be unbent, the length of this clip is 9cm!
Kitchen stuff (1)
I think it would have perfectly hooked on the upper projections of the biovine.
Mona1
Yes, if it is so long, then you can hook it not by the edge of the ham, but by the "leg" of the thermometer stand, which is in the center of the lid.

Natasha, she's fastening. Look at the photo, you can see the grooves along the edge, and the edge itself is bent outward.
Kitchen stuff (1)
And on the bottom of the cover there are protrusions. The lid must be put on the glass so that the protrusions fall into these grooves, then turn the lid a bit and the protrusions slide off these grooves and catch on the curved edge of the glass. The protrusions are small. I hope that when I squeeze the spring with the lid under pressure and hook the lid over the edge of the glass, they will not break off under pressure. The stainless steel seems to be normal, and the ham maker itself is not some kind of China, but it seems like Poland. I hope everything will be fine.

I'll show you the photo later, as the daughter arrives, otherwise I myself do not know how.

Girls, I am plagued by vague doubts. I can’t sleep well without a ham. Since it’s not clear how long it’s to wait for Teskomovskaya, I searched the Internet and found two more Biowin models (Mona, how do you like it?) and ROSSLER (Austria). The first is made of stainless steel, the second is made of aluminum. For the price, of course, more expensive than Tescoma.Which one to take? There will be no oxidation in the piece of iron? And about aluminum somewhere I read that it is harmful What to do ...
GuGu
Kara, and nevertheless it is necessary to wait for Teskomovsky, they promised delivery by the end of the month.
Omela
And I made the ham. On the second day it was even tastier. I can't show it yet., At the dacha the Internet broke. Ugly megaphone. Anger is not enough for him. (
Mona1
Ira, I like mine, but it's still visual, especially since I haven't seen others live, I can't compare. And you can buy meat only on Tuesday + pickling for 2 days. that is, by Thursday-Friday I can only say how impressions from the process and from the result. But if you choose between plastic, stainless steel and aluminum, then stainless steel is better, you can bake it in the oven, and do it in the airfryer, read the recipes. And if you only do it in a pot of water, then Teskomovskaya is probably very good. And it is also necessary that a pan of a suitable height is already available. Otherwise, buy it, but there are no pans for such a height and you have to buy it separately. Pans are suitable for asparagus, but the price in them is - wow! My ham maker is 16.5 cm high, others may be shorter and will suit you better for your saucepan. Again, in mine there are no legs, we need to invent a stand so that not to put directly on the bottom of the pan, but in Teskomovskaya there are legs. Again, there is with a built-in thermometer, or without it, the capacity may differ, although, as I read, you can do a smaller amount by inserting a can of a suitable diameter with the bottom up. That is, there are many nuances, study all the devices carefully and you will understand what is preferable for you.

Marfa Vasilievna
I think there will be at least UAH 500 in stores.
I'll order a Polish Biowin, probably ...

About pots: In white-sided, you can make ham in the oven almost in a frying pan by pouring a little water into it.
Hence the conclusion: with a metal shredder, the same trick is probably possible.
That is, if there is a choice, then I would take metal - then there is less trouble with it.
But today I am quite happy with the white-sided one.
