Countess Pie

Ingredients

flour 250 g
butter 250 g
sugar 200 gr.
eggs 5 pieces.
starch 100 g
baking powder 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • I was doing the cleaning and found the magazine "Sweet Smak" for 1995. And here's an interesting recipe I dug up there, called "Countess's Pie"

  • Grind butter with sugar, add eggs, mix flour with starch and baking powder, sift and add spoonfuls to the beaten mass.

  • Put the dough in a well-oiled mold and bake at a temperature of 200 C, as written for about 1 hour. on the lower bar, I baked in the middle for 35 minutes.

  • Remove the biscuit from the mold, let it cool and cut lengthwise into 6 plates (I got 5)

  • Mix the juice of one orange with 4 tbsp. l of liquor and soak biscuits, but I did not do this, firstly there was neither one nor the other, and secondly, the biscuit turned out to be so loose, juicy that I considered it superfluous.

  • Melt 200 g of milk and 100 g of dark chocolate and grease the layers of biscuit. As it turned out, there is no chocolate either, so I cooked the icing: 6 tbsp. l milk, 6 tbsp. l sugar, 3 tbsp. l cocoa and 150 gr butter.

  • I poured this glaze on top, and then put it in the refrigerator.

  • Here's what happened:

  • Countess Pie

  • And the cutter

  • I thought when I cut everything it would disintegrate, but it turned out that everything was holding up perfectly, but my daughter liked just to disconnect the pieces
