My beloved, vaunted, coveted Vitek-1480 died in six months
And I praised him, the snake. : girl_red: Here's a damn reducer. If it were not for him, Vitek would not be a blender, but a dream. We gave it to the service-spare parts, we made an act, I will try to return it. Girls, I feel sorry for him. That's what kind of company this is, everything is good and wonderful, but there is a fly in the ointment. I bought a hairdryer, it works like a clock for 4 years, but in my favorite nozzle the bolt is constantly unscrewed and the nozzle falls out. The iron is the same story, from time to time, once a year, 5 drops of brown liquid flow out of the water tank and no one will guess where it will get (on black trousers or a white shirt). And the blender is in the same place - the engine is running, the knives and graters are sharp, comfortable, functional, but normal gears could not be inserted into the gearbox.

What a pity ((What are you planning to take instead of him? I wanted Vitek so much, so wanted ... so much everything tempting in him. But still a lot of marriage pops up.

And when I bought my Vitka 1480 in Mvideo, I specially bought another 2 years of additional warranty, in case of a breakdown, they will simply change it to a new one without going to the service center.

I don’t know yet. All in confusion. I need from a blender: a small chopper, a whisk, a puree attachment (I liked it very much). And with such a set of blenders, something is not a fountain, something is not on sale, then something is included. While I think about it. And cutting into cubes, I'll see more. I saw a liberty combine with this function, but I have a combine, though it's old. I'll read the reviews, I'll think about it. And Phillips, in my opinion, is unreasonably expensive. And buy it - so only cubes and a chopper. And to buy a whisk and a puree nozzle plus half the cost of a blender. It is better to do without cubes. (What kind of seditious speech I am saying, "do without cubes").
And about the service center is not a problem. They did everything they could and wrote out the act so that I could return it. Now the main thing is to decide with the seller.

What is a reducer? I seem to have the same problem, the motor is humming and the cube cutter nozzle does not twist, and this is after 2 months of using the Vitek-1467 model. Now the Vitek company does not exist for me, it is not for nothing that there are many complaints about it, by the way, there was no guarantee, like there was an action without people grabbed guarantees and I for one.

The gearbox is the top cover through which the rotation is transmitted to the knives and attachments. If the engine is running (and the whisk, leg and small chopper are humming and working), but there is no rotation (in the large bowl), then something has deteriorated in this lid. I was still somehow spinning without food. And if you put something, there is an extraneous noise in the lid, but there is no rotation.

I have the same shit in Kenwood 724 And I used the chopper just a few times. The rest works.

Yes, this is exactly the problem. And what happened there? As I understand it, this is a massive defect in Vitek blenders. Please advise what can be done and how to fix it if we do not have their service center in our city.

I think that you can't do anything with the gearbox on your own. There are few options - either leave only a blender with a whisk, legs and a small chopper without a large bowl, or look for the nearest service center and try to somehow repair it. I now live in another city where there is no service center. So we were taken to Lugansk, since we often go there. I understand that you have no guarantee. That is, it will not be possible to return it back. You can contact the store where you bought - they can advise the workshop. Moreover, if there is no guarantee, then it is not necessary to look for a specialized service center. If only the craftsmen could find the necessary spare part. With such a breakdown, just change some part (or the whole cover, I don't know for sure) - otherwise, nothing. But my service did not receive this detail (it can be seen that the entire stock was used on less lucky ones, who had this thing flying earlier than mine). So they issued me the documents for the return.

A couple of years ago, many were carried away by the Kenwood 724 blender. A question to the owners: after the lapse of time, were they disappointed in it? Or is it worth looking at other models?

Like a garlic press, only the size of a potato. My 85-year-old mother is doing well.

I have one, but I don't really like making mashed potatoes with it: it is dry and then you need to mix everything by hand. And the electric potato grinder is a great thing. It turns out such a delicious mashed potatoes: I put all the ingredients in and after a minute or even less - a delicious mashed potatoes are obtained. I even bought a blender because of a potato maker (Philips 1618, which comes with such a nozzle).

I also have a press for berries, or a manual juicer from the Soviet era, and it really looks like a press for vegetables, only there are no holes on the side.
Aygul
Lagri , I reassured, I thought I was still doing it, so I figure out what's what, where is the juicer, and where not
Lagri
Aygul, it's great when one device can be used here and there. Now you have 2 in one: a juicer and a potato machine!
Aygul
Yeah, you need to get and try at least a couple of mashed potatoes

here after Kenwood, the Phillips boom began and they, too, seem to have models with a potato maker and dicing, in my opinion, there were even models "in one bottle" with both functions. And here they also discussed them. By the way, my colleague, the same Kenwood, did not live long. And I have Brown (a brand in the profile), on which there were many complaints on the internet about the combustion of the engine, which has not been killed for 5 years, moreover, in the literal sense of the word, since it fell several times on a completely tiled floor, but apparently saves the rubberized case from which it is made and the quality of the material. Country of origin Slovenia.

Phillips acted "wisely" I made variants of models with a potato grinder, with cubes, with a large bowl and so on - so you need to poke around the models and choose the option you want with attachments, "all at once" will not work! And if all at once, then you will need to buy all these kits, and then in addition we will have a lot of repetitions of spare parts and the cost will increase.

I would like to have a large bowl with knives, and for this I need to buy a whole set with a minimum of attachments, including a large bowl. On the one hand, I will receive "as a gift" at my own expense the control leg itself, and on the other hand, I will get something else that I do not need in any way or will repeat. And you have to pay the money!

Admin, Phillips 1371 was presented to me in due time, it lacked for me, sooooo much lacked, a large bowl with knives and graters. I went to the service and ordered this kit.
Masinen
I have a Brown blender, it has been serving for 9 years !!!! And well, tfu tfu tfu ...
Made in Spain !! The set includes a large bowl and a small one, and I myself bought the middle one.
Very good. I don't know where they are doing it now ...
I also want to buy graters.
Taia
So I already began to lean towards Phillips with a potato machine, there is such a model. Cubes are not of interest (or maybe necessary), and there are bowls with knives: a large one with two knives and a small one. And there is something to rub, Berner and Phillips are mini-harvesters. I wondered why I need such a large Kenwood set. Before every purchase I go sick from the agony of choice.

Tan, a grater goes to a large bowl (if you need one, you can order without it). She has a very good shredder size and, on the other hand, slicing. I exhibited photographs. I have been using this large bowl for the third year already, and I cut the chop and onion into the minced meat with knives, I am too lazy to get the meat grinder. For the price, though now I won't even say how much I gave, I don't remember.

And my kenwood 724 broke, it's a pity, it's very inconvenient without it. I worked for two years. But I myself am to blame. I ordered the main part in the service. I don't know how much it costs yet.
Lenok458
I have a Kenwood screwed up too. So uncomfortable, unusual without him. We need to take it to the repair. Although it may be cheaper to buy a new one. He worked the same way for 2 years, but during this time he was used in full.
Natalia K.
Girls, what's breaking down in Kenwood? I also have him for two years, but everything works
l_suhomlina
Mine has a broken plastic thing inside the main part, nozzles are inserted into it, and, as I understand it, rotation is transmitted through it. This block is not separable. It costs about 2.5 thousand rubles. But I myself am to blame, I decided to blender the jam in the bread maker, the blender knife and caught on the bread maker's knife. The other has not yet decided to buy, everything is fine with it.
Natalia K.
Thanks for the answer. Now I will know what to use with the blender in HP.

Girls, Vitka 1480 are still in working order, or have the mustache broken?
Already ordered Philips 1669, but the soul does not calm down. I want Vitka more than Filia
Lenok458
In my Kenwood, an adapter fell out of the hole where the nozzles are inserted (such a small plastic thing). It just worn out: the motor itself is running, but the nozzle does not spin, because, it seems, the "teeth" of the adapter have worn out. Where to get this now, I don’t know.

I have such a Philips 1618. I also bought it from behind a potato machine about a year ago and never regretted it. The potato maker is a godsend. It is a pleasure to work for her. Puree does great and fast. I use Philips completely. Before him I already had 4 sets of blenders, now all blenders work in turn. Appeared on sale the same as Philips - Scarlett SC-4246 blender, also with a potato machine, power 700W, but the price in the Karusel hypermarket, 799 rubles. (without a discount 1309 rubles), here: 🔗... And then I took my Philips for 3190 rubles. It was expensive, but I really wanted to! But I still think Phillips is more reliable.
