1. And after what changes occur with bread?
2. Is the flour the same?

like a disease of flour.
after it starts to grow moldy, but before the bread was stored for a long time

it looks like a potato stick in flour, but there is still a smell. and the bread on the second day is already inedible.
change the flour, only everything that it came into contact with must be processed.
Gulnarochka
Sens, the smell is actually there. Maybe this is. Is that possible?
Gulnarochka
Sens, I read about a potato stick on the Internet, I have it exactly as it says. For a long time I should have asked here how much bread threw
Margit
I have had this several times. The last time was two years ago, then I ordered flour from Tikhoretskaya, they brought a bag of flour of the 1st grade. How I suffered with it, so as not to throw it away, I decided to bake the dog, and in order not to harm the dog with yeast, I baked with sourdough without a gram of yeast. The bread turned out to be excellent, they even began to eat it themselves, it turned out very tasty bread, and the smell and stickiness where disappeared after baking. Most likely, this is the merit of the leaven.
Gulnarochka
Margit, I've never tried to bake bread with sourdough, but how is sourdough made? I have 10 kg of such flour, you can't throw it away ...

I've been baking in the oven for 2 months now. And according to native recipes and recipes of members of the forum. And the roof always cracks. I read about the bun. I tried to correct it with flour during the first batch. I didn't have time. Kneading for 9 minutes. The dough sticks to the walls Now I added 1 tbsp. l. flour and pre-mixing is over. It took 20 minutes until the 2nd batch. The main batch has begun. Torment intervened. But the bun still sticks to the wall. The bottom of the bucket is dry - no liquid or flour.
Recipe:
Milk - 300ml.
Pressed yeast - 25g (dissolved in milk)
1h l. Sahara,
2 tbsp. l. R. oils
Flour - 400g
Salt - 1 hour l.

Tell me, if you didn't have time to correct, then what to do?
mora
While I was writing, the main batch ended and this is what happened:

I didn't touch it to the touch, I just took a picture very quickly and closed the lid.

Oh!!! The bread goes over the edge! For the first time such, and even compressed yeast. 48 minutes left.

I am as new to baking as you are, the bread maker is not even two weeks old, but I have already figured out that the amount of flour and water should be approximately 1: 1.5. From the recipe that you brought in your post (15.47), 400 gr. flour - 300 gr. There is definitely a lot of water, plus vegetable oil provides additional liquid. Therefore, most likely, the dough sticks to the walls from excess liquid, try adding 250-260 grams of water. and maybe the bun will turn out smoother
Margit
mora
A lot of yeast! For this amount of flour, 8 grams of fresh yeast is enough. The gingerbread man is good, the ratio of milk to flour is sufficient, given that there are 20-30 grams of dry matter in milk. Good luck and delicious bread!

I decided to bake another bread with a smaller count. pressed yeast. This is the first batch. It seems to me that the bun turned out. Dense, but linden to hands. Kneading 10 min.

Mistletoe, I didn't get it. If I decide to knead separately and bake separately. So you can increase the baking time? What is it like? The baking time has elapsed. I opened the lid and saw that the bread was not baked - increasing the baking time? So?

mora, even for pies - that's a lot. Enough 15g. fresh yeast. And for bread Margit I wrote to you:

For this amount of flour, 8 grams of fresh yeast is enough.
It is calculated as follows: per 100g. flour - 2g. fresh yeast.

You can use the Baking program in 2 versions:
1. After any automatic program. that is, your bread is kneaded, distanced and baked in automatic mode. It seemed to you that it was not brown enough. You switch on the Baking program for 5-15 minutes.

2. You have separately kneaded the dough. We waited for it to rise and turned on the Baking program, setting the time to 1 hour. If the bread is not baked enough, turn the Baking on again for 5-15 minutes. But, as a rule, an hour is enough.

Is it clear??

Mistletoe, your bread is praised here. Where can I see the recipe? And in general I would like to bake according to the recipes of members of the forum, owners of HP X500, and not according to recipes for HP. Thank you.

Good evening! My husband gave me this x500 bork bread maker 2 days ago, yesterday they tried to make a cake, everything seemed to work out, only it almost baked, but the problem is different. Today we wanted to try to make ordinary bread, we did everything as written, we turned it on, we look out the window, the dough does not stir well, we paused, we collected a little dough with a wooden spatula, turned on, again the same song, pressed pause, again collected the dough from the other side where it didn't stir at all, and the problem now is that we can't turn it on. Time is flashing, there is a "key" lock, the lock has been removed, but the start is not pressed. Please tell me what to do, who faced such a problem ??? The power cord was turned off, but when we turn on everything remains in memory, what to do ???
Omela
Kira , welcome to the forum.

After you have removed the lock, you need to press pause again, not start. And if you turn it off from the network, then wait 3 minutes (I honestly don't remember how long it keeps in memory) for the program to reset.
Kira
They also pressed pause, and there was nothing about it. I had to disconnect from the network as you wrote, now it works! Thank you very much!!!

It's great that it works, but it doesn't have to be. It's just a touch panel, it "slows down" and does not execute commands from the first press. Itself today once again faced with this. Therefore, next time, you still try to do without forced disconnection from the network. That is, press the buttons with different forces in different corners.

Good day! Yesterday I bought a bread maker as a present for my birthday. honestly - I followed a Panasonic with a dispenser, but the consultant in the store - "devil tongue" inclined to bork x 500. I did not read reviews on this model in advance, and when I came home - immediately to the Internet ... and I was a little shocked .. really the stove is that bad? did not lose heart, I decided to bake bread today (traditional white bread) .. well, well .. it turned out ..: girl_claping: although I deliberately did not add anything, I decided to check the capabilities of the stove ... the crust is pleasant golden color, the crumb is springy, the taste neutral, there is a quarter left ... the only oh - before baking, the hat swelled a little in the middle, and then after cooling down, it sagged ... in general, I am not at the exhibition, so I did not lose heart. Of course, after watching your masterpieces, I want to improve .. about the smell - yes, I was .. but not so strong to run away from home .. of course, any new thing takes time.

Yes, it is not bad, just the ratio of price-quality-capabilities of this particular Bork model is not very strong.
She also has a not very successful one, but he nevertheless will always save you in difficult cases, this is the programming mode.
The rest of the stove is normal.

Judging by the fact that the roof has slightly collapsed, then you need to either add flour or reduce the liquid. Recipes sometimes need to be adjusted due to the quality and moisture content of the flour

I actually guessed about it myself, but you convinced me of this ... I will slowly adjust the recipe, I'm afraid to add a lot of flour so that the stirring motor does not work under load.

positive, don't be afraid. The maximum weight of baked goods in your CP is 900g. And proceed from this.

Hello!
I would like to join the owners of the Bork X500 bread maker and share their impressions! We bought the stove 2 months ago, we are VERY happy with the choice! There was a slight smell in the first 3 bakes (the bread itself did not stink, only the oven), then it disappeared. I read, many write about unbaked bread, thank God, I have never had such a problem - everything turns out well from the very beginning! Everything is sung, the hat does not fall ...
So far, I baked everything according to the recipes from the recipe book that is attached. To be honest, from the fact that I have tasted everything I like ... We tried white traditional, rye, onion bread, as well as muffin and cake. We also made dumplings and yeast pastries. So far, I have not experienced any particular difficulties. Everything turns out great! I especially liked the cake - the real one, which it should be! The only problem for me was the not crispy top crust. I came to the conclusion that this is because of the viewing window, the temperature is insufficient at the top and now I cover the window with a towel during baking - the crust turns out to be very good, rosy. I am attaching a photo of the very first bread and kulich ... Sorry, of course, not masterpieces of art, I had not yet guessed to help the kneader with a spatula, but it was very tasty ...

Thanks for the warm welcome, Omela! I was digging around here and chose this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=76119.0 And what do you think, for Bork it is normal for 650 grams. to do flour kneading? And for yeast, I have a question: how much dry yeast should I put if fresh 40 grams?

Oh, now I read the recipe again, and it says that the author has a bucket for two kneading knives ... Does this mean that I need to divide everything in two so that the dough does not crawl out of the bucket during the proofing process?
Omela

Rain4 , the maximum weight of bread for a rectangular bucket is 900g, for a round one - 750. To find out the weight, you need to add up all the ingredients.

how much dry yeast should be put if fresh 40 g?
Dry need is 3 times less than fresh.

Today I kneaded the most wonderful dough in KhP according to the recipe I chose yesterday. The dough turned out to be excellent, it was kneaded very well. I took all those ingredients and in the same amount (except sugar, I increased it to 3/4 cup) as in the recipe, and put 5 cups of flour from HP. I also added raisins to the dough and vanillin. The result is excellent! I was left with both the oven and myself * JOKINGLY * An hour and a half in the "dough" mode was quite enough for proving.

Unfortunately, I read all the reviews about the stove after the purchase ... now I will be smarter
Open the lid and look, what's the problem then?
I can finally mix with an open lid, otherwise how to control a bun,
you need to feel it with your hand, and if you add a weak flour

Good day! I also decided to express my opinion about the Bork X500, especially since this is my second bread maker, that is, I can compare. The first was a Zelmer presented for the New Year. Served for 5 months. I could not "make friends" with her. The bread tasted decent, but the roof almost always fell through, no matter what I did, no matter how I followed the advice of Admin. Therefore, as soon as her electronics failed, the stove was thrown out. But for 5 months. everyone got used to homemade bread and Bork was bought. I also followed Panasonic, but I came with Bork. I liked Bork. The bread is much tastier in it. The roof of the bread almost always turns out to be normal, which caused me a delight at first. Now all the Admin's tips regarding the kolobok are in effect. There was a foreign smell from the stove only during the first use. Now - only the smell of bread when baking. The dough always turns out to be mixed, even if you do not help with a silicone spatula. The non-stick coating is good, and the bread out of the mold and the spatula of bread "fly out" without effort. Now about the cons. The measuring cup is disgusting with a curved scale and small. I use a glass from an old stove. The stove is also very hot when baking. For x / n cost 9000 rubles. it would be possible to make some kind of thermal insulation. But overall, I do not regret buying. The bread maker is used regularly on the farm and so far without problems.
Omela
Girls boys measure the pzhl rectangular bucket. Width at the bottom, width at the top and height without shaft.
Lenok458
In my stove: at the top - 14 * 18cm, at the bottom 11 * 13cm. The edges at the bottom are naturally rounded, I did not take these rounds into account. Height without shaft -15cm.
Omela
Elena... thank you very much!!! If I compared everything correctly, then the forms L12a and L11 are suitable for us: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=173600.0
Creamy
Mistletoe, it is better to measure the dimensions of the internal volume of the stove. not a bucket. Or make a model from waste cardboard on the L10 or L7 form, glue the side seams with tape and conduct full-scale tests.
