Bulk apple pie (lean)

Ingredients

Apples (juicy) 1 kg
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Semolina 1 tbsp.
soft oil (vegetable oil 150 g
vanilla sugar 1 tsp
baking powder 1.5-2 tsp
flour 1 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • We make a dry mixture:
  • Semolina + flour + sugar + baking powder + vanilla sugar. Stir well. Peel and grate the apples.
  • I put in a glass dish in fairly thin layers: dry mix, apples, dry mix, apples and dry mix. It turns out three layers of the mixture and two layers of apples. There must be a dry mixture on top. Top with melted Alpine butter.
  • The pie should be infused for several hours. Cut into squares, diamonds, as you like.
  • Typically, frozen butter is rubbed on top. You can add a little cognac.

Time for preparing:

40-45 minutes

Cooking program:

Bake at 180C.

There is no soft butter, so I did it, as it is written in the Bulgarian recipe - 4 tbsp. l. dry cream (I took Korean) for 1.5 cups of very hot water. (although I didn't even have enough cream, probably 3 spoons, so I added 50 gr. of margarine.) I mixed it all and poured the cake. Delicious . I’ll find butter, try your recipe.

Something I didn't get the cake. At first, a dry mixture was not obtained. I added some flour, but it didn't help. The dough was sticky, I just put it in a mold and molded the sides. Then I overexposed it in the oven. Maybe it was because of the strong humidity (it baked during the rains and snowfalls), my flour did not allow me to get crumbs? I'll try again, someday, my husband loves shortbread pies. The filling was made from canned apple filling in cubes according to a recipe with HP, well, a very convenient recipe, and frozen lingonberries.
