From somewhere (where?) I have an opinion in my head that I need to add a little water. But you won't add it to all.

I am trying to rebuild my opinion about blender, I want to use it more often. And then I read that they even make pate, but somehow it doesn't work out in my head.
LisaNeAlisa
Miranda, pate yes, it is heavy and dense enough.

But I still love cocoa the most.
Miranda
LisaNeAlisa, and how do you make cocoa?

LisaNeAlisa, and how do you make cocoa?
I heat the milk almost to a boil, pour it into a blender, turn on a low speed, add cocoa as much as needed in a spoon, which is stirred, and then for a minute to about maximum. Such a delicate foam is obtained, no cappuccinatore is needed.
Miranda
LisaNeAlisa, Great, thanks!

I really want a new blender knife and a stirring stick
Especially the stick. I only made zucchini caviar out of food with a blender, so it seems that a stick would not be in the way.
LisaNeAlisa
Miranda, the main thing when whisking hot is not to close the small top lid. It is necessary to have somewhere to go out.
Miranda
LisaNeAlisa, Thank you

I finally bought a dough roller attachment and have already tried it. Super thing! I made dumplings, rolled the dough on this attachment and then made the dumplings themselves with the help of a dumpling machine (molds for dumplings). It turned out very quickly and without hassle. When I rolled the dough with a rolling pin, when preparing a large number of dumplings, my hands began to hurt. So that the remnants of the dough are not clogged with flour and they can be rolled out again, I smeared the dumpling maker with vegetable oil, and did not sprinkle it with flour and the dough remained elastic and rolled out again without problems. At first, my dough broke when rolling, because it turned out to be not very steep, I sprinkled it well with flour each time it was rolled, and then it stopped breaking. Now with a Keshina attachment and a dumpling dumpling, making dumplings is not a burden, but a joy. I also want to try rolling dough for pasties with this attachment, I think it should work out well.

Wow, I never did that, I have to try.
Do you have to bother to crush the oiled residues into one ball? I remember the agony of mixing the rust. butter into the dough when I did it with my hands.
ludmila_27.79
Miranda, just a little butter, you grease the dumplings with a brush and that's it, so the dough rolls back into a lump without any problems.
Miranda
ludmila_27.79, OK, thanks!

Here you are, as you want, but it's easier for me to do such things in Boche Cubix. Maybe I'll lose a drop of the product on the "grease", but it's easier to use, IMHO. Both more spacious and more visible ...

What kind of Boshik is this?
Harvester?
Bijou
Miranda, well, like yours, just the engine next to the bowl, not below.

Veta, Well, that is a given. But for small portions, it is not so much a submersible as a shredder from its kit. The very same size.))
Miranda
Bijou, I don’t use mine since the moment I bought Kesha, and it’s worth it washed and packed.Still, there is no place for both gadgets, and I want these operations in one thing.

Separately, I have a meat grinder and a rolling noodle cutter.
There would be an interesting electric grits mill separate, I would probably think about it separately, but I dream about a nozzle.

But I want to master a blender and a combine at Kenwood
But Boshik is great, yes. Although, I almost did not run a blender in it. The understanding of the blender as a cocktail-doer was before all gadgets and until now. I really want to expand the view.
Bijou

Separately with me
Separately, I have a lot of instruments, and even a cereal mill has been around for 15 years or more.)) It seems to me that individual instruments in the closet take up even less space than a pile of attachments in a box to Kenwood. At least my juicer looks more compact than the Kenwood one from the kit. And that a food processor and some other chopper or cube for Kenwood to buy, so Bosch I have about the same volume with a similar complete set and occupies, neatly stands in a corner and is always ready to work.
Miranda
Bijou, preferences are the case, yes.
The attachments in place are comparable to free-standing devices, it's true.

Cubes and a shredder are still more convenient when you chop as much as you want, and do not periodically empty the bowl. Although this is not a problem.

Now, if I had not been presented with a cube when buying a car, I would not have put Boshik up for sale. And so it turns out two blenders (Kenwood is heavier, but better), two cubes (Boshik has a smaller cube, and in general you can have two sizes), two graters-shredders (there is also a food processor).

Everything is duplicated. The only difference is in the size of the bowl of the combine, the presence of a free disk in my Boshik (which cuts not only potatoes perfectly), and a smaller cube. But the place! Space is sooo little to arrange everything at hand
Paul I
And who will tell you which coffee nozzle is better to grind? Who has any experience?
LisaNeAlisa
Paul, multi-shredder.

Yes, uniform.
Miranda
Paul I, every other day I grind coffee on the grinder.
According to the instructions, it cannot be longer than 2 minutes.

Depending on the amount of coffee and its hardness, I pray from 50 seconds. up to 1 min. 15 sec. about. There is a timer to help - I see the time. The grinding is uniform. Better than my simple coffee grinder. More than one and a half minutes. never ground, but one and a half a lot, very dusty.

The only thing is, I would like them to add. chopper knife, so as not to interfere with aromas-tastes.

Oily grains are not allowed with a grinder.
That is, coffee, powdered sugar, nuts are excluded.

But that's what the chopper is for.
Well-dried almonds into flour - that's the only way!
Alycha
And who ground hummus in a multi-grinder? What is the volume of the cups? Thank you.

Sorry. And I hoped that it could be used like the millstones of a coffee grinder.
By the way, who is well versed in coffee here, can tell me if there is a significant difference in coffee with a ground coffee grinder with knives and millstones?
Alycha
It seems that the mill has ceased to be produced, but what is being sold is the remains. Although maybe they stopped buying them from us and tell tales
Miranda

Like the mill has stopped producing

How so ???
Okay, there is a potato peeler, very narrow focus, has gone poorly.

But why the mill ???

It depends on how much hummus you need. I make it in a combine, which 647 does an excellent job. I make sesame paste in the grinder.

is there a significant difference in coffee with a ground coffee grinder with knives and grinders?
As far as I remember, the difference is not in what to grind, but in speed. It seems like it is believed that if the knives move too quickly, the coffee heats up and takes on a burnt flavor. However, I didn't notice much difference. I have a manual grinder, a conventional grinder and a multi grinder. Apparently, you have to be a special gourmet. At the same time, I almost always accurately determine the main composition of the spices in the dish and the components of the aromas.
Under the main characteristic of the coffee grinder - the knives are set low - the multi-grinder is suitable.

Thank you. I'll try to grind hummus in an old brown
LisaNeAlisa
Paulwhy bad? I think not worse than others. Grinding is possible at any speed, the knives are well placed.

Hello everyone!
I have a great sense, he has silumin tips and no flexi.
Tell me, is it worth running for metal hooks, etc.? Or just calmly pick up what is not.
I think I definitely need flexi and I want a soufflake.

Svetka-Vetka, I have KMM770, also with silumin nozzles. Do not rush to replace them with a stainless steel version, this is not in a hurry. I replaced it, just a chance fell out, at the flea market for almost thanks I bought new K-shaped and flexi of the old model (higher Miranda showed it), but I also work as a K-shaped silumin - I use it to add flour into eggs beaten with sugar for biscuit dough. But I changed the hook to an induction one, I really wanted it, right to delirium, although I like how my family works. But flexi is a very necessary nozzle, if you often have confectionery, and if not often ... I will not say anything for a soufflake due to absence. Our corolla is good, but it's too fluffy, the whipped whites need to be picked out. Try to beat the whites with a K-shaped whisk (at maximum speed, min. 8-10), if you don't like it, beat it with a whisk. Good luck!
Twig
Svetka-Vetka, excellent nozzles for your kenwood, dear. Why change?
You must buy flexi. You can safely do without a souffleika, it is from the category of "what to buy when everything is there"
Arlei
But I just bastard from the souffleika, which biscuits and casseroles are airy with it. I could never achieve such with my hands,
Svetka-Vetka
Peter Push, Twig,
Thank you so much for the advice!
I will mine flexi. I didn't find anything in stock in our city, I'll have to look for an order.
Arlei, Thank you! I'll think about it at the expense of the souffleiki.
Miranda
She promised to write.

I made a cupcake, whipped with an old flexi 180gr. oils.
Great, I liked it. But I still want 100g. try.

Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments

I posted the recipe in the subject with recipes.
Before the eggs, flexi did everything.

It seems to me that the nozzle sits differently.
Where there is no blind spot, it rides along the wall with a sound (at a speed of 4 and higher). Although, I do not know what sound should be, the new one generally creaks, and this is normal, but here it may be normal against the wall, but I think a couple of mm. there is a shift. In non-induction ones, there is no immovable pin for the stirring nozzle. They could have moved. The hook whisk was not affected. Only flexi touch the walls, the new one has a large soft border, but here a small one, which makes it not so soft. But maybe I'm just over-listening-looking

I want to remove the bezel on the pin and try without it.
It is not a ring, but the letter C. And tightens, closing the gap between the ends. Obviously on the idea of engineering. Maybe without this ring it will be better in induction?

I will experiment
Bijou
Miranda, but the bowl has only one position? When I did everything in steel, I remember that I put a mark on it, because in one position the attachments worked more symmetrically in it than in another. Per millimeter (s), it doesn't matter. But I figured it out empirically out of curiosity.))
Miranda
Bijou, there are grooves on both sides.
Roughly speaking, it can be north side forward, or south.

I'll have to try to turn, I wonder
Olga VB
In addition, the nozzle itself (stirrer) can be installed "north" side or "south".
That is, in fact, there can be 4 combinations with each nozzle. At the same time, if "north" is more suitable for one nozzle, then "south" may be more suitable for the other.
Miranda
Olga VB, tomorrow I will experiment all four options, the evening seems to be free, and if any is better, then I will make a note

Thank you!
Vinochek
Miranda, here's another blender application. I made duck and it was necessary to chop garlic for the marinade, add spices, etc. I decided to use a blender. I threw everything into it at once (garlic with cloves, fenugreek seeds, coriander too, lemon juice, etc.). Everything was crushed and mixed just with a bang!
kseniya D
Evgeniya, and what is the volume of the mixture? It's just that I have a persistent feeling that less than a glass will not mix anything there. It seems to me that what you described will fall to the bottom and will not even be picked up by knives.
I use it very rarely, precisely because nothing comes to my mind besides pureed soups. We don't drink cocktails. Once I tried to make a pate, I almost burned the engine (back in 570), it smelled of burnt. And, of course, it is large and heavy, if for the sake of a glass of sauce. I have mini grinders or I use a hand blender.
LisaNeAlisa
Ksenia, he will pick it up with knives, his knives are very well placed, but I don't see any sense in smearing a small volume on a large blender. Is that marinade for a turkey to do ...

Miranda, I also have such a drawing on the bowl after flexi. I put it into the butter one by one on a cake and eggs. And which one did you like best? I won't say anything about the sound, I didn't listen.

An interesting topic came up about the north-south in the bowl and in the attachments. I was always amazed at the ingenuity and ingenuity of our ladies. We must try it myself, put down marks.
Bijou
If you want to get what you never got, do what you never did ...

Now Bijou is smart, she has Kenwood. And if until now she whipped proteins in the common way, that is, from the very beginning, splashing sugar in them and whipping what she could find at hand, now, after reading smart people at the Bread Maker, she tried to do what she had never done.

No, the empty three squirrels whipped well! The whisk disappeared under the dense foam. I began to pour sugar from the glass, gradually added it all and left. I come up in about 10 minutes all this in anticipation of the wow effect. And he did come!

The squirrels have shrunk almost to their original state, and now at the bottom, under an empty rim, a bunch of something white and granular is dangling. And I urgently needed it.

I turned off the oven, there are no more eggs in the house, I look with sadness at the finished cottage cheese dough for cookies with a pack of butter that has died in it, where the proteins were supposed to form a layer in the "roses" ...
Olga VB
Helen, try to beat what you got (proteins with sugar). You can also add a pinch of salt. And set the minutes to 12-15. It is impossible to kill the squirrels.
I can't even imagine why you got such a quetz.
In the most extreme case, you can make a biscuit dough of the Savoyard type from them and bake your roses from it. But I would try to beat everything up again.
Anchic
I had a similar story when a drop of yolk got into the white.
Miranda
I beat the whites with a drop of tiny salt.
When they turned white, I pour sugar from the glass a little bit. And they keep growing and getting stronger.

I also have no idea why it happened.
Maybe a lot of sugar at once?
Olga VB
Quote: Anchic

I had a similar story when a drop of yolk got into the white.
Anya, for Kesha a drop of yolk is about nothing. He perfectly beats whole eggs to a very dense state, so I don't think Lena could misfire due to a drop of yolk. Moreover, she writes that at first everything was whipped well. Then, apparently, she planted everything with sugar, but after that you can beat everything again, IMHO
