Apple pie "Viennese"

Ingredients

Butter (margarine) 250 g
Wheat flour 500 g
Sugar 300 g
Salt on the tip of a knife
Soda 1/2 tsp
Vinegar (for soda) Little
Yolks 2 raw
Thick sour cream 250 g
Sweet and sour apples 1.5KG
Cinnamon 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Chop cold butter or margarine with flour, add 150 g of granulated sugar, salt, soda, quenched with a little vinegar. Add yolks and sour cream. Knead the dough quickly, divide it into two parts and put in a cool place for at least 15-20 minutes (1 hour is possible). At this time, peel and core the apples, grate and mix with 150 g of granulated sugar and cinnamon. Make two rectangles out of the dough, put one of them on a baking sheet, put the grated apples on top, cover with the second rectangle from the dough, close up the edges. Grease the pie with raw protein and prick with a fork.
  • If the cake is too browned, cover it with oiled tracing paper.

Bake in a well preheated oven at 220-240 degrees
