Why know the hardness of water? Salt for PMM, which is poured into a special compartment below, extinguishes the rigidity completely. As far as I understand, the more hardness, the more salt consumption. And the machine itself signals when the salt has run out.
Not a single, even the most screwed-on machine, can yet determine the hardness of water by itself. There is still no easy way to measure it, except with the help of chemical. analyzes. Therefore, you must set this parameter yourself, using the handles once when connecting. And then the machine itself.

Today, at breakfast, I watched the behavior of the machine: it fills in water normally, it works for the first 10-15 minutes, too, normally, then the rest of the PMM washing time "shows off" (that is, the washing process is intermittent), then drying - no problem.
There may also be a very commonplace reason - somewhere bad contact. When the PMM heater is turned on, the currents increase significantly and a poorly clamped wire (for example) heats up very much and stops contacting, the machine goes out. Cooling down - contact reappears. It is easy to check it - when the machine has turned off - remove the plug from the socket and touch it. If the matter is in the outlet, one or both pins will be noticeably hot and darkened in appearance. If the plug is cold, plug the tester into the parallel socket and measure the voltage (if there is only one socket, then through a tee). No tester - we plug in any lamp with an incandescent lamp. If the voltage sags heavily during the operation of the machine in this particular outlet, there is poor contact in the machine (then it must also be hot). If everything is ok with the voltage, and the machine is capricious - only to the service!
Yes, and in any case, do not forget about safety precautions. Have all contacts rebuilt by a qualified electrician
sazalexter
The hardness of the water is "removed" by the ion-exchange resin, for the regeneration of which salt is needed, if there is no salt, the resin "dies" very quickly, its replacement will cost 200 "cozy raccoons"

Or maybe it should work like that? Maybe this is her cycle? Mine too does not thresh without interruption.

No, CapriceI don't think so. When it works normally, the Start / Cancel button indicator burns constantly... And then it goes out. And when it turns on again, the machine behaves as if it had been opened, interrupting work.

Lydia, I read on the ixbt forum that the electronics of "Electrolux" quickly fail due to a voltage drop, so when I chose an Electrolux machine for myself, I did not even consider it, because we often turn off the electricity for 5-10 minutes, and this for a typewriter is disastrous.
Lydia
On the same forum ixbt I was advised to turn on the PMM without a surge protector and see how it would work. I tried it. Works great! I turned on a 30-minute washing program and, froze, sat for 30 minutes and stared at the PMM, pretending to read. For now I'm happy! All !

Well, I don't know what they have on ixbt does not work well, I have an electrolux PM for 3 years, a refrigerator for 2 years, the voltage in the network "walks" 190-230V everything works like a clock, (y) ugh 3 times

Yes girls ... I'm reading here ... and then make conclusions (I haven't bought it yet, but I'll just buy and buy so many things in parallel). I was also told that Electrolux suffers from voltage, by the way, in the service ... but these models have sunk to me and I just want ... it is better to put a stabilizer or something else will be advised, but for that I will have a favorite dishwasher .. .. like all the equipment that exists (and there is a lot of it), since we will make the kitchen, and then change the wiring and then complete everything at once

My purchase of new household appliances entailed a complete replacement of the wiring in the apartment. But now, in addition to the current reserve, each room has its own automatic machine and sockets everywhere for all occasions.

I shoved Bosch 53 13 45 cm into the 40 cm section !!! And at the same time I figured out the oven, which now has not only the upper heating, but also a spinning spit !!! And I grounded it !!! I only had enough strength to start rinsing ... I have no indicator strips (I ran around three nearby pet stores, but ...) And there is no salt either. And something else is missing ...

Svetik_
Yes ... I understand that without replacing the wiring anywhere ... because there is just a lot of equipment in the house, and how much more is added, and it will always be such a replacement, something is being updated, something is coming out of building, but basically everything is connected with electricity. Can't go anywhere.
Hairpin So you bought Bosch already? I thought you were just going to, but nowhere to stick

That's really really - "there are women in Russian with ... ahem, in Moscow ..." In general, a huge respect !!! It's like in an old Soviet joke - two 150 each fit in one glass: Are you a magician? - No, I'm from OBKHSS ...

And I have pipes. Only my correct husband first replaced the pipes, and then blessed the purchase of PMM.

Hairpin, Congratulations! Our regiment has arrived! Add salt and everything else, experience and share your impressions.
Rita
Hairpin - just a brilliant woman!
Congratulations on your purchase!
But salt is the first thing to put into the car, otherwise the ion exchanger will fly quickly.

Yeah ... (y) definitely everything is brilliant ...Hairpin-well done, that's how I ... if it caught fire. then that's all ... at least stand, at least fall ... I'll hurt myself, but I'll take it ... on Saturday I'll go to take

That's what I did:

Dishwasher selection (1) Dishwasher selection (1)

Issue price, facade and new door. We visited the company where I took the kitchen a couple of days ago, they are, and my kitchen (with the same facades) is.

And the point is that another 50 mm was given to me by the distance from the axis between the sections and the sink itself. The husband just cut out these 50 mm. So at the moment, the door under the sink is 5 cm behind the dishwasher. But these are trifles !!!

All kinds of salts and so on, I typed myself. I was just afraid until the last moment that it would not fit.

Today I sit at home and use all the dishes I can! Now - oppose. Kaaaaaaaaaaaif.

And the question. I know that buckets from multicooker-bread machines cannot be washed in the PM. And what about vacuum containers? I have Duffy under the pump. The valve covers themselves?
Svetik_
Hairpin pliz write your model of Bosch, well, you are great, at least you shot ... and I still have this joyful event, but the most important thing is that I will not be able to enjoy it for some time, because the kitchen in the new apartment will only take shape, and I only need to buy a dishwasher and a refrigerator and a mustache ... the equipment will be in place, that's when I need to start designing the kitchen
Hairpin
Svetik! I have a Bosch 55 ... 13. All that I understood is the first figure - the number of programs. That is, if 3, then there is no rinsing and the ability to load an incomplete basket. The four already have the ability to load half (there is even a 1/2 button), and in the five you can put almost one glass.
There are also differences in the possibility of using 3 in one ... Do I need this ... I don't know. And the five have walls. In three and four, the bowel type is visible. For me it was important, because ... the walls did not fit me !!!
And further. On Saturday my husband and I toured neighboring shops with a centimeter. The five was only in the MediaMarket in Khimki for 27,000 rubles. Only 55 ... 03. And I ordered 55 ... 13 through the Internet for twenty thousand ... 26 percent cheaper ...
Looks like she told everything I know!

You can, of course, on the program up to 50 degrees, if there is ... Usually this is for glass. The only thing is that they will not dry out in the machine.
Rita
Hairpin, the 3 in 1 program is for tablets as far as I know.

I had a very similar Zanussi washing machine (the same Electrolux, only in profile), and usually during the day. The called service master first of all plugged the voltmeter into the outlet .... showed me the absence of 220V and the corresponding line in the instructions (that this is a prerequisite for the operation of the device) and left. The problem was solved by installing a separate bag on the meter and a wire to this outlet. It was in an old apartment, in a new one, all the wiring is new, to large devices (SM, PMM, boiler ...) separate supplies and there are no such problems.
Hairpin, congratulations on your purchase. Your perseverance can be envied Although the word "no" (in relation to the construction and design of my home) affects me like a red rag on a bull and the solution is usually found
Kalmykova
Hairpin! Congratulations !!! My Bosch has been working for almost 4 years as a company - 2-3 times a day. True, we almost always use one program (maximum). And on porcelain and crystal, drawings fade and gold is washed off (this is from powder). But you feel like a white person !!! Congratulations again !!!

We did it for the washing machine. We plug the PMM into the same outlet - as a rule, without tees, in turn. And we'll stick in the voltmeter ourselves, check it out.

Hairpin,
CONGRATULATIONS!
Your decision is optimal. I'm so glad, so glad for you! And the victory over 50 mm is

Well, on the question above: I wash all the plastic. And containers as well. True, I have not tried the pump. The only thing that "led" is the bowl from the mixer. And even then, from the old everything was washed without problems, the new one does not have a thick strong edge along the top of the bowl, so it could not stand it ...
If it is possible to pull out rubber or silicone parts, pull it out. Strongly ribbed parts with small channels or simply poorly placed parts of a complex shape really do not dry out, but they are clean!
Oh, and I have not yet dared to wash the lids of the thermoses (with a steel frame), the thermoses themselves have been washed more than once. You just need to first study the structure. Some have a small hole in the plastic at the bottom of the thermos or under the handle. You will be tortured to shake the water out of there, to put it mildly.

Teflon (well, titanium, to be more precise) pans are always mine. The bottom ceases to shine in aluminum pans, but does not affect the properties of the pan. At least I didn't notice. The only thing is that you need to adapt to put and remove the pans more accurately so as not to damage the coating on the edges - from there it peels off the fastest. however, I haven’t washed the new BAF pan yet, I’m sorry. Although the instructions say that washing can be done, it is not recommended. The Germans, what to take from them)))

I already wrote late, not put it that way. I take them out and wash them separately. It turns out cleaner))), and dries better. All these dishwashing detergents, while remaining in hard-to-reach places, clearly do not contribute to a healthy lifestyle. So I try to get everything washed properly.

And I somewhere (maybe even on this forum?) Read that after washing in the PMM, silicone molds should be lubricated in the same way as any "old-mode" ones, because the dough begins to stick to them. This is true?

This is written in the instructions for the forms, but for some reason it does not stick to me. But I wash them in Boch for a short program.

There is such a small oily film on the silicone as it is advised to lubricate it the first time a new mold is used. Once. It was written in the instructions for me.

After washing in a dishwasher, that is, with a good cycle of hot water with detergents, the silicone, in theory, should completely degrease. Therefore, it should be lubricated (with vegetable oil). With just a little shiny fingers. Just make a film. Nothing sticks to me, although I wash the silicone in the dishwasher and forget to lubricate it periodically. But if you smear it after washing, the effect of the product jumping out is better, it's checked.

Aha! Hinged door, dishwasher 45 cm built-in. It even became somehow easier! And then I think I'll order the wrong piece of wood ... And if you wait until my husband downloads himself ... That firm won't last so much !!!

in my dishwasher so far only plastic food containers have been damaged, and that is because on the hot soap program
more knives from frequent washes are dull and from their wooden handles the varnish of tears (but this is already my homework has gone overboard)

Dear users, all conversations about kitchen doors, headsets, etc. have been moved to a separate topic https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=19649.0 ... I will very much forgive you not to lump all the topics together, but it is better to open separate, specialized.

I'm talking about my Boshik.
The buzz ............. Actually, it turned out that I get dirty dishes immeasurably.
Opponents get in there. There is even a separate nozzle for washing trays.
Plates / spoons - fits immeasurably. But pots-jars ... At the same time, more than three pots or lids will not fit. Moreover, the place for the plates is empty ... Well, this is when I first beat one in the mixer bowl, then another ... She (the bowl from the mixer) constantly flies into the dishwasher.
First, I washed greasy dishes (after butter, broths) on a two-hour program, and now I almost always run on a thirty-minute program. Even the pans are clean after frying in vegetable oil. A couple of times I saw not washed spoons ... In percentage terms - less than one percent.
It turned out that a spare saucepan could be taken for the LL pressure cooker at a reasonable price. So now I’ll throw it in the dishwasher too. Compared to the saucepan from the multicooker and the bucket from the bread machine, the saucepan from the pressure cooker is almost dead.
And I wash the lid of the pressure cooker in the dishwasher too! And non-stick and silicone mats too !!!

In general ... I can only congratulate the next user of the dishwasher ... Rejoice and jump with you together on one leg.

I have a PPM for 5 years already. I got used to it very much and even replaced it with another one (already the second in a row). I wash almost everything in the dishwasher. The lid from the pressure cooker in it is rare for me, sorry for the gum-seal, it dries up from the dryers and begins to crack. Almost all silicone is in PMM, not all plastic. Brittle and hard plastic tends to crack when dried.

I love to wash everything out of polished stainless steel there (I have a lot of such dishes). After PMM, it all shines !! And without her - there were terrible drops, stains and stains ...

Calm down my fragile and hard plastic and rubber-sealed containers. At first, it was also scary, but then I tried on what I didn’t feel sorry for - everything is fine. The main thing is not to overdo it with the temperature, 50-60 no more. The fact is that drying in PMM is condensation, due to the residual heat of the dishes. And this does not apply to plastic at all due to the negligible heat capacity. It's like you rinsed it with hot water and put it next to a pot of tap water. That is, there is no hot air jet in the PMM, which could really damage the plastic and dry out the rubber seals.
Chantal
+1 I have an elastic band on the lid from the pressure cooker, too, removable, mine and her in the PMM, but the lid is not, because there is an aluminum part in the non-removable part of the valve

Hairpin, and what prevents you from piling up a saucepan or jar on the "plate" part? I do so if only the rocker does not prevent it from rotating by the way .. I don’t remember whether I wrote here or was just going .. the oven grate fits wonderfully under lower basket PMM, i.e. does not clutter up the rest of the useful volume and at the same time does not interfere with the rotation of the rocker arm
Hairpin
Chantal, I'll try, but ... somehow dumb ...
And as for the protivinya, if I could fit 45cm in 40cm, but even I couldn’t manage 60cm in 45cm! So this tip is only suitable for full-size PMs.
Chantal
Hairpin, what is dumb? dumb handles to wash dishes or drive an empty PMM

I have a full-size oven with a useful volume of 60 liters and the same 45cm boshik as yours, well, or almost everything fits perfectly, the fact is that boshik is only 45cm wide, and in depth everything is standard 60cm by the way, the size of the grill is just something 46cm x 38cm

PS: advice specifically for the grate, I do not advise you to put the baking sheet like this - it will block the rocker and the rest of the dishes will not be washed

Girls hello to you, I'm reading you, and I almost shed tears ....... damn they promised me to bring a dishwasher .... which one I chose (Electrolux) and now a week has passed and nothing happened ... I'm all on my nerves it was spent ... well, just a fuck-up Excuse me, but there are simply no words left ... I waited and hoped, but here such a glitch ... the most important thing is that I was ready to pay a week ago, when they said that will bring ...horror: o Now I look in other stores, but there are no such models, I have already agreed to another one, now I am waiting for the result again, when at least a discount will be made, otherwise I will tell you the prices have climbed up again, it's just awful, you won't keep up ... ... I already came to the store, I already looked at the rising price ... well, I think, okay, I'll buy, then I met a godfather in the same store ... who came to choose a TV, dissuaded me not to take it right away ... clarify the type of price, maybe you can get such a model cheaper, although she liked it a lot, now I'm waiting for tomorrow morning, when my acquaintances will call and say ... either YES ... or NO ... and then I will run to buy this ....... generally a madhouse

sazalexter Thank you very much .... for your support ... I also think so, everything will be fine. Today I was again in this store, only with my husband ... so I want to tell you he criticized my choice on a typewriter, that is, in terms of dimension ... like what will you put there, in general I did not understand what is it intended for, that it is possible to wash pans and pans in it ... he said that he would take up a lot of space, like let's take a narrow one ... then he looked at the prices for them ... and said that why are they much more expensive ... I explained to him that built-in and narrow machines always cost that much, that full-size ones were cheaper, then I took him to the department of refrigerators and hoods ....... I chose a Kaiser hood (Germany) and again said that it was expensive, and in terms of area there is a strong hood that can stretch by 25 m2, but my kitchen is only 8, well, the turn came to the refrigerators ... and then he told me on LG (width 86cm, depth 73cm in my opinion, something somewhere like that), well, he says, why such a large wardrobe ??? Out of 4 models suggested by me ... stopped at Whirlpool 503 IX? the model looks awesome, but the price of course ... does not fit ...... in general ... we will look for mother-of-pearl buttons
Will I have happiness or what ???
