Spicy mandarin jam

Ingredients

Peeled tangerines 1 kg.
Sugar 500 gr.
Cognac (optional) 30-50 gr.
Star anise, cloves, cinnamon taste
Mandarin zest taste

Cooking method

  • Grind peeled tangerines in a blender. Add "Zhelfix 2 + 1" mixed with 2 tbsp. l. Sahara. Mix. Bring and mixture until boiling. Add the remaining sugar, spices, tangerine zest, bring to a boil again and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour hot jam into prepared jars.

Note

Delicious jam! Plus, very quick cooking captivates ... Besides, it's a good way to attach not very successful / tasty tangerines (just my case).
I cooked this jam with the addition of cognac, for my taste it is not at all superfluous there, for myself I realized once again that star anise is not my spice ... I put the zest removed from 4 tangerines (cut into thin strips), we really liked the pieces of zest caught in jam, you could put more, delicious!

You can safely make jam according to this recipe in HP, everything will work out. I digested so many jams in HP, take my word for it, there were no unsuccessful ones, all the jams / preserves turned out to be very tasty, the consistency was also fine!
By the way, for my HP, I would not recalculate the portion into a smaller size, usually less than 1 kg. I didn't cook fruits / berries, that's more, yes, it was a matter ... in fairness, I note that the bucket in my HP is far from small ...
