Jam plum chocolate

Ingredients

Plums 1 kg
Sugar with pectin,
or + bag of gelatin
700 g
Chocolate 70% 100 g

Cooking method

  • Pitted plums and grind in a blender
  • Cover with sugar and boil, cook for 10 minutes
  • Break the chocolate and add to the jam, dissolve and turn off the heat.

It is divinely delicious !!! The taste of the jam is reminiscent of chocolate-covered prunes. Try it, you won't regret it !!!
I made jam with "Zhelfix 2: 1", that is, for 1 kg. plums it took me 500 grams of sugar, a little less than the author of the recipe, but for me just what the doctor ordered - not much, not a little! Chocolate took 70% "Golden Mark", although at first I planned to add 99% without sugar, but at the last moment I changed my mind, some other time I will definitely try.

Little one, thank you for the wonderful recipe! Prepares almost instantly, but how delicious! I love prunes in chocolate, so I immediately made 2 kg plums, which I did not regret at all. Only my color remained more plum. From 2 kg of plums we got 2.5 liters of jam. Oh, and more. I took sugar according to the recipe, since my plums were not overripe enough. At first I was afraid that there would be too much sugar, but after the addition of Zhelfix (as part of the lim. To-that), everything just returned to normal. Thanks! I just tried a few pieces of "prolender" - all the same, small pieces of skin were felt and spoiled my mood

I also have interruptions with "Zhelfix", so I cooked this jam a couple of times without it, just slightly changing the cooking technology. Now I'll post everything as if in a spiritat I'll give you the details.
We heat the plums in a saucepan on the lowest possible heat, the plums will give off juice and nothing will burn, then we boil the plums over low heat for 5-10 minutes, until softened. But 20 minutes is provided that the fire is really maximum, and not average (on average, by the way, it is also possible, but accordingly more time will be needed). All .

I store in a closet at room temperature. With "Zhelfix" the jam is very thick, after the refrigerator you can cut it with a knife. Without "Zhelfix" the consistency of the jam resembles a jam.
