I report: I managed to cook soup, stew ribs and yogurt
Everything turned out sooooo delicious, and I just fell in love with this slow cooker
Compared to Panasonic, it is clearly more powerful, cooks faster. In general, I was pleased with the purchase.
The only thing that is a little annoying is the lack of a drip tray, you have to wipe everything with a rag
Otherwise, she is good! and somehow Panasonic seems too simple with its 6 programs
makabusha
Are you talking about condensation from the lid? Yeah, I'm wiping too ...

But the photo of the pots, to the right of the Aurora, visually almost does not differ in volume

Eh ... you can immediately see that Aurora's saucepan is larger than in Panas, and in Italian it is more noticeable lower than Panasonik's. I envy you again.
makabusha
Regarding the lack of a drip tray, they wrote somewhere that this is the opposite advantage. Well, that's why - I don't remember .. Maybe someone in the subject - answer.
While the condensate of course has to be wiped off by hand, but it does not bother me much. But I would like to understand this issue.

Out of curiosity, I shoved a saucepan from Aurora into Panasonic 18 * JOKINGLY * it fits perfectly
So today I will try to cook something in Panasonic, in a saucepan from Aurora, I will write the results
If everything works out, then I think that buying a spare saucepan for Aurora is easier and cheaper than for Panasonic
And the price of the entire Aurora multicooker is cheaper than a spare bucket for Panasonic

I think that spare bowls for new pots will be much more difficult to get than for Panas. Unless you go directly to the manufacturer (this is probably solvable since they wrote that the Auroras are going to Ukraine). It would be great.

I see only one advantage - more cleanliness
I don’t have a drip tray in Kukushka - so wiping constantly, at the same time it’s all, all soda - the unit shines like a bulk apple.
And in Panas - why should he wipe him once again, he didn't get a splash, almost clean, you look - he is no longer so radiant
makabusha
It's true, I wipe off the condensation and at the same time I wipe everything with a cartoon .... it shines, even though it is stainless steel .. completely without fingers ... but the refrigerator next to me while I'm going to wipe it ... forever stained ...

I am writing the results of my experiment on using the Aurora saucepan in Panasonic 18:
I put milk oatmeal on the timer last night, this morning it turned out delicious porridge BUT not the same as in a Panasonic saucepan, but thicker, apparently a lot depends on the material from which the saucepan is made, because the porridge was boiling more than in a pan from Panasonic and had to turn it off earlier. Although maybe the whole point is that I always make a full portion, and this time I did half
In any case, I will try to cook something a few more times to make the final conclusion.
Yes, and still I was pleased with the experiment: you can still cook on a saucepan from Aurora in Panasonic 18

.....

natalamurr

This is the point

For example - the same portion of porridge in a small Panasonic and in a large one will turn out differently.
In small it will be wetter, and in large it will be drier (in relation to oatmeal, we will get a different density)

And the pans are not so radically different, that there is aluminum, that there, only the coating is slightly different and that's it.

Please tell me the dimensions of the Aurora. And yet, does it have a stainless steel or plastic case?

Tried corn milk porridge on stewing mode. (1/2 m. A glass of cereal, 1 m. A glass of water 1.5 m. A glass of milk, 1 tbsp. L. Sugar, salt, 2 hours stewing) Slightly burnt, or rather, baked from below, such a light brown pancake. So, I continue to cook on the soup mode.

The lasagna turned out to be very tasty, but I was worried because I put it on the baking sleeve and was going to put it on the stew, and then I realized that stewing without liquid did not work and put it on a crust. Turned off after 50 minutes. The bottom was a little browned, but cooked great.

the magnets from the refrigerator do not stick to it, but before that I was sure that it was stainless steel, because next to the refrigerator the stainless steel looks like a one-on-one coating like an aurora. Maybe some kind of alloy. Or they have already learned how to make such plastic, or paint.

I think the problem is that the extinguishing is designed for at least 2 hours. This is probably a lot for any porridge. Although the temperature regime for stewing is more suitable for porridge than for soup.
Tatuli
Dear Aurora Owners! And yet to be or not to be - to take or not to take this particular multicooker? Confused before the choice, help !!!
makabusha
None of the owners of Aurora can tell you - don't take it. Because this is already our slow cooker and we love it)). All multicooker is good, there are no frankly bad or defective ones. There are different functions and modes. So start from them. Well, it also depends on which country you are from.
Tatuli
З of Ukraine, makabusha. And the functions ... Since I recently walked around the city at night in an ambulance, I want to buy a multicooker because of the function of a double boiler, stewing and cooking porridge. How does Aurora deal with these modes? In my city, only VES, Perfezza and Aurora are available, so I was faced with a choice of them.
makabusha
I thought to offer you three options to choose from, you guessed them, but instead of Weight I wanted to offer Dex 50. But the latter is really in the Internet stores most often declared, but not in stock. They are all in the same price range. When I chose the Ves, I threw away the slow cooker. I don’t remember exactly why. Choose between Perfezza 57 and Aurora. All of them will stew and steam with a bang. Dex's steamer is not in the form of a tray on top, but in the form of a mug with legs. It turns out deeper, but it is more difficult to get it and it is more difficult to cook two dishes at the same time.
Maybe just take the technical characteristics of Perfezza and Aurora, compare? For example, just a list of modes. Aurora has a yogurt function. In Perfezza, you can probably also make yogurt, but you have to adapt. For myself, I also compared on which programs a timer is possible (well, I like to set everything for the night, so as not to cook in the morning and not even warm up) and changing the cooking time for each program. In my opinion, Aurora has a broader list.
Of the Aurora's shortcomings, I can only note the steam from the valve on programs with high temperatures (frying and double boiler).
Tatuli
The ferry will not scare us ... As a last resort, I will put it under the hood. I am interested in the reliability of MV and how it copes with the programs I have indicated. And is it possible to simultaneously cook two dishes, one of which is steamed? Tell me if you cooked in such modes.
SupercoW
a couple of days ago she was faced with a choice (she was picking up the second cartoon). I was thinking just between the Aurora and Perfez 57. The decisive thing was that the Aurora could be delivered to me in two days, and the Perfez could be taken immediately.

there are not many differences in the modes and they are not fundamental. Aurora has a "yogurt" mode, but for me it is not important because there is a yogurt maker.
Perfezz 57 has a very convenient timer - I already appreciated it and really enjoy it.

everything else seems to be similar.
Tatuli, see what design you like best. read more here... I wrote why I chose Perfezza ... the second time ...
makabusha
Reliability can be assessed after at least a year. Both multi have appeared quite recently. Since autumn-winter this year. Owners of Aurora in total on the forum, I think there are 5 people.
Both will stew and steam well. Compare only the parameters of these modes. As for Aurora, I will say right away: extinguishing assumes by default 2 hours, you can change from 2 to 12 hours, there is a timer for this function; a steamer from 5 minutes to 50, there is also a timer. Check out the Perfezza branch how these modes work.
Two dishes can be cooked simultaneously in both. The "double boiler" program itself assumes a higher temperature so that the water below constantly boils and food is cooked faster on such an intense steam. If you put a steamer tray when something is being stewed in the pan, the temperature will be lower there, but it will still work out, because the steaming steam will take longer (2 hours), which means that everything will have time to cook in the steamer.
Only if you make milk porridge .. no matter which cartoon you choose, be sure to read how to cook them so that you don't run away. There are a lot of tricks on the forum: add water, coat the edges of the saucepan with oil on top of the porridge, etc.
I still chose Aurora, although I also thought about Perfezza. For me, the menu in Aurora is also more intelligible.

Regarding the dimensions of the multicooker HxWxD 25cm x 33cm x 42cm I measured it myself with a tape measure, in a hurry, in the morning, by eye, so the dimensions will not be entirely accurate.
I put rice in the automatic mode in the evening in the morning. Cooking (2 mst. Rice, 3 mst. Water, 1 tsp. Salt, the rice was washed beforehand) Rice cooked well. Nothing burned.
Regarding the agony of choosing a multicooker, I will not hide, I suffered the same way as in my time with the choice of a bread machine. Perhaps I would have taken Panas, since they have been in operation for a long time, and their instructions are at their best, and I have this. But the price is 1300 UAH. for 2.5 liters. somehow it became a pity to give. And bread is baked in simple xn times three times cheaper than Panas, and interestingly everything turns out.
We saw MV Aurora on the market, looked that she looked like an Italian, (there are recipes for Italian, people do not respond very negatively. There is a service for Aurora, the price is 500 UAH) and bought it. (While we think CF prices are going up, I don’t understand why ...)

Could you please clarify where you bought it / do not want to puncture with the purchase /?

We are happy to share information about the place of purchase of multicooker in Ukraine IN THIS TOPIC

sorry if I'm asking a stupid question ...I've only been dealing with a multi-cooker topic for a week, and then, all this time I've been reading about perfusion ... now I can't find perfusion in the shops and there is already a painful choice between perfza and aurora ...
I want to explain something else for myself ..... I was attracted here by the phrase that the Aurora is an exact copy of the Italian, but I did not quite understand: is it an external copy? copy of programs? or a copy for the quality of preparation? what is the copy? (and Italian women are considered cool? if so, can you enlighten why? You've probably already read about all brands and models .....)
Yukasas77
you can still ask about the timer: what is the principle of the timer in the aurora, in more detail? just set the time when you need to get the finished dish and she herself understands when to start in order to prepare by this time?
or there is some difficult option, when it seems like you need to calculate something yourself, set first one some parameter, then another ...

The principle of the timer is the same as on the bread maker, the time after which we want to get the finished product is set. Is it difficult, probably yes, to calculate how many hours and minutes you need to set, in order, for example, to get ready-made porridge by 7-30, if now it is 21-45 (and if you still want to stand on heating for half an hour, then generally kapets)
However, not all modes have the option to defer.

Regarding the similarity of Aurora and Italian, see the thread about choosing a multicooker. External copy, programs, prices. I won't say anything about the quality of cooking, there is no way to compare.

I will not give advice on which one to choose, (see the thread about choosing a multicooker), since each sandpiper praises its swamp. We have such a psyche, like, I spent money, and I begin to persuade myself what a cool thing I bought. And the more I spent, the more I persuade. (As in the movie "What Men Talk About" - I eat deflop for $ 65, and try to find something in my taste that would justify such a price ....)

And to be honest, I just fired up to buy, right here and now, went shopping, there were 2.5 L Panas. for 1300 UAH, mulinex from 800 UAH, Aurora from 500 to 800 UAH. that's all. Stopped in the service center, are you servicing the Auroras? we serve. So I bought it.
Yukasas77

clear .... I don't have a bread machine, but judging from the description, it's really not a very convenient timer ... but there is no turning back, the aurora has already been ordered and delivered to Kiev. On the next week I will take her home, to the Dnieper and .... I really hope she will trample on me and I will become a fan of MV!
Regarding the similarity of Aurora and Italian, see the thread about choosing a multicooker.

The dough for lasagna is the same as for homemade noodles, Eggs, flour, salt (do not add water!) For one egg, about 100 g of flour - depends on the size of the eggs. Knead the dough, cover with a bowl and rest for 30 minutes.

Hurrah! Another obsession came true - my Aurora is at home. I walk around and don't know where to start. Dear MVVedians, please share your experience and delicious recipes, "teapots" will be grateful to you. There are many recipes in the internet, but mostly for Panasonic. Hello everyone!
Yesterday I brought home my Aurora, cute ...
the husband immediately greeted her, so to speak, by the hand, T. K., the wife, in her agonizing choice of a multicooker, dropped out of family life for a whole week, disappearing in the form, so the husband had already taken a dislike to her in advance. And when the first thing I did was banishing her in the steam mode from the technical smell, then somehow at first the steam itself was not visible, my husband decided to reach out over the valve to check. Here's a cartoon for him at once with hot steam and "zzzdrast! Very nice, cartoon !!!" (though he admitted his guilt, he said that he was a fool)

Well, let's experiment right away!
I cooked buckwheat in the VARKA mode in a ratio of 2 multi-glasses to 2.5 water. It turned out to be edible, but a little dry ... can tell me why? ... now I thought about it, maybe I chose the mode incorrectly, 50 minutes is a minute for this mode, you can see my 2 glasses of buckwheat and dried in 50 minutes ...
on the stove, I usually bring it to a boil and immediately turn it off, then it stands closed for 15 minutes and it turns out very crumbly and not dry ...

For buckwheat, I made frying of onions + carrots + mushrooms on the FRY mode. I chose the time 10min and pressed start. And here I have a question: after pressing start on the screen, dashes began to run in a circle (I thought the countdown would start). Is this normal or not? and how to understand it? At first, the lid was open so that you could stir the frying. I thought maybe the reason is this and decided to close the lid. Nothing changed. I waited, nothing too .... in general, I opened the lid and cooked it up under supervision afterwards.

Also, the question arose whether it is necessary to disconnect the cartoon from the outlet every time or can it be left in standby mode? Unfortunately, there is no toggle switch on the case itself ...
Tatuli

Yeah i'm not alone
Girls, these are regular situations, in the instructions, no matter how scanty it is, all this is described.
In the "frying" mode, the lights run until the oil warms up, then go the countdown. And in the "macaroni" mode, it starts to squeak when it is time to fill up the pasta (that is, the water is already boiling), you have to press start and the cooking time will count down.
Tested empirically, the day before yesterday and yesterday she stepped on the same rake
Vikka_od
And I use instructions from an Italian, everything is detailed. Tell me, did anyone have problems opening the lid after finishing the cooking process? I get a little stuck ...
