Cooking method

  • 1. Chop the onion and mushrooms, fry in vegetable oil.

  • Cut the prunes into thin pieces (if hard, soak them in warm water first).

  • Grate eggs on a coarse grater.

  • Cut the cucumbers into thin strips.

  • 2. Lay the salad in layers, smearing each with mayonnaise:

  • prunes

  • mushrooms with onions

  • chicken meat

  • eggs

  • cucumbers

  • 3. Garnish with prunes, cut into oblong pieces, pickled mushrooms, curly parsley (Chinese cabbage).

  • The salad is not only elegant, but also delicious. For a couple of years now it has been one of the obligatory dishes on request.

Well, actually! For a whole year, no one paid attention to such a salad! Looking through recipes for salads for the New Year's table I came across. I've been cooking "Birch" for a long time, it doesn't bother! Luysia, registration is just awesome!

Probably, many have their favorite and proven salads, so they use them. And I love this salad, even if you just lay it in layers without decoration, an excellent replacement for a somewhat boring Olivier.

There was boiled chicken. I wanted something .... I wanted something like that - new, fresh, and to eat, and not just admire. Found this salad in the bookmarks. Cooked in portions in bowls, without decoration. New, fresh, tasty, satisfying, clean, aesthetically pleasing. A solid "five" on a five-point scale. Without stretching. I take it forever. Low bow to the author of this miracle
