Caucasian lavash pancakes

Category: Culinary recipes

Ingredients:

Green onion
Leaf salad
Cilantro, parsley
Sweet peppers optional
A tomato
Suluguni cheese or feta cheese
Mayonnaise

Cooking method

  • Before we even have time to blink an eye, the heat starts. What are we going to eat?

  • Last year at home my beloved friend gave me this.

  • My husband loves these things and calls them Stern-burgers.

  • Making a salad.

  • Green onions, lettuce, parsley, KINZA. Those who do not like cilantro can get by with one parsley. For me, cilantro is the most important

  • component. Sweet pepper optional. Don't add anything to the salad! No salt, no pepper, nothing!

  • Caucasian lavash pancakes

  • We cut the lavash into pieces the size of a pancake. Place a large spoonful of salad in the middle. Put a slice of cheese on the salad. Ideally - suluguni, but I have nowhere to take it, I do just fine with feta. Squeeze a small strip of mayonnaise onto the cheese, and a slice of tomato onto mayonnaise. In the photo, on the contrary, so that you can better see what is there.

  • Caucasian lavash pancakes

  • We wrap the pita bread, bending the end inward.

  • Caucasian lavash pancakes

  • Now we send our pancakes to the microwave for 30 seconds. They shouldn't be very hot.

  • And Bon Appetit.

  • Caucasian lavash pancakes

  • Almost all last summer we ate these pancakes. I varied the filling. But this "classic" version, in my opinion,

  • the most delicious.

This summer we were in Dresden, passing by the talking men (one of them was in the form of a sculpture), with the edge of our ears noted that they were speaking in an incomprehensible, but painfully familiar language. They, too, became wary when they heard Russian speech. Then we realized that they were Armenians. Although, in Germany now people from all over the world. I love this country anyway!

Wow! What a wonderful recipe And I kept walking past him
All this summer I was making a cold version of these "pancakes" (only instead of tomatoes there were cucumbers), but I never thought of reheating
I will definitely try the warm version with tomatoes
