REDMOND RMC-P470

Description multicooker Redmond RMC-P470

With the REDMOND RMC-P470 multicooker pressure cooker you will forget about long hours at the stove. All you need is to put the prepared ingredients in the bowl and press a few buttons: the multicooker-pressure cooker will cook almost any dish by itself!

The RMC-P470 has 13 automatic programs: some of them work at normal pressure in multicooker mode, and some at high pressure in pressure cooker mode. Cooking under pressure and without access to oxygen shortens the cooking time, which allows you to preserve the maximum vitamins and nutrients in the products.

To maximize the capabilities of the model, REDMOND has released additional devices and accessories that you can use with the device. Among them you will find the multicooker-pressure cooker bowl.

The RMC-P470 has a unique VACUUM program designed for cooking dishes using the technology sous-vide (in a vacuum). Sous vide dishes are cooked in special vacuum bags at a relatively low temperature of 60–70 ° С. Due to the lack of contact with the external environment, dishes in a vacuum remain juicy and retain their nutritive composition, natural taste and aroma.

The RMC-P470 multi-cooker-pressure cooker implements the innovative MASTERCHEF LIGHT function, which allows you to change the cooking time and temperature during the work of programs operating in the multi-cooker mode.

REDMOND specialists have developed the RMC-P470 multicooker-pressure cooker to make each of your dishes a real gastronomic delight, and cooking - a simple and exciting experience!

Before using

Carefully remove the product and its accessories from the box. Remove all packing materials and promotional labels.
Be sure to keep in place the warning decals, directional decals (if any) and the product's serial number decal on the product body!
After transportation or storage at low temperatures, keep the device at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.
Wipe the body of the device with a damp cloth, rinse the removable parts in warm water.
Dry the device thoroughly before connecting to the mains.
Place the device on a flat, dry, horizontal surface so that hot steam escaping from under the cover does not get on wallpaper, decorative coverings, electronic devices and other objects or materials that may suffer from high humidity and temperature.
Before use, make sure that the external and visible internal parts of the device are not damaged, chipped or other defects. Connect the power cord to the socket on the case, make sure the connection is tight.
Do not turn on the appliance without a bowl installed inside or with an empty bowl - if you accidentally start a cooking program, this will lead to critical overheating of the appliance or damage to the non-stick coating. Pour some vegetable oil or sunflower oil into the bowl before frying food.

Function "MASTERCHEF LIGHT"

Discover even more possibilities for culinary creativity with the new MASTERCHEF LIGHT feature! Using the "MASTERCHEF LIGHT" function, you can change the program settings right during the cooking process.

You can always customize the work of any program so that it meets exactly your wishes. Is the soup boiling over? Does the milk porridge "run away"? Steamed vegetables

taking too long to prepare? Change the temperature or cooking time without interrupting the program, as if you were cooking on the stove top or in the oven.

The “MASTERCHEF LITE” function can be especially useful if you cook dishes according to complex recipes that require a combination of different cooking programs (for example, when cooking stuffed cabbage, beef stroganoff, soups and pasta according to various recipes, jam, etc.).

Cooking tips

  • For steaming vegetables and other food, pour water into the bowl and place the steaming container. Measure and prepare the food according to the recipe, spread evenly in the steaming container. Follow the directions in the recipe book.
  • To prepare milk porridge, use pasteurized low-fat milk; when using whole milk, dilute it with drinking water in a 1: 1 ratio. Grease the bowl with butter before cooking. Thoroughly
  • Rinse all whole grains (rice, cereals, millet, etc.) until the water runs clear. Strictly observe the proportions indicated in the recipes from the enclosed book. Decrease or increase the amount of ingredients only proportionally.
  • When making bread and baking, make sure that the original ingredients are no more than half the volume of the bowl. It is not recommended to use the Delay Start functions, as this can affect the quality of the baked goods. Remove the finished product from the appliance immediately after cooking so that it does not become wet. If this is not possible, it is allowed to leave the product in the device for a short period of time with the automatic heating on.
  • Do not open the appliance lid during the proofing phase! The quality of the baked product depends on this.
  • For deep-fat cooking, place the food basket (sold separately) in the oil that has already been heated. Use only refined vegetable oil as deep fat. Cook with the lid open. Remember, the oil is very hot! To avoid scalding, use oven gloves and do not lean over the appliance. Do not use the same oil to re-deep-fat food.
  • Allow the appliance to cool completely before using the FRYING / FRYING program again.
