Cooking method

  • Mix flour with baking powder and oatmeal, add all other ingredients and knead the dough. The dough turns out to be a muffin consistency, even thinner.

  • Lay out the plums on top of the "tiles".
  • Place in a cold (!) Oven and bake at T 200 ° (convection 180 °) for 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle the hot cake with cinnamon sugar.
  • I have half a serving in a Ø26 cm mold.
  • Two eggs.
  • The drain, unfortunately, was only 500 grams - clearly not enough.
  • But the cake is delicious!

I made half a portion, my shape was 25 cm in diameter, the plums (there were prunes) I washed and cooked exactly 1 kg, and when I began to put it, it didn’t fit all! And after baking, we got such bald spots ...

And one more "Trouble", as Hairpin puts it - the pie seemed a little dry to me, I felt the flakes, they didn't seem to be soaked and swollen ... But, to my husband, I presented this pie as SANDY !!! and the pie (I think that's why) didn't seem dry to him.
So with all the "troubles" we together sentenced 2/3 of the pie ...
MUSH said that he does not notice any flaws in the cake - neither taste, nor technological (still, Stella and I cooked this - forgive me, dear, that I cling to your glory ...)

The problem came with the top of the pie, didn't want to bake. As a result, while the top was baking, the bottom was a little overcooked.

I think that the problem with the first pie was because of the peaches, they were too soft and juicy.

Just imagine that if you have a smaller diameter shape than , then the cake will be higher, which means that in your case, at half the dough rate, the baking time may be the same. And if the form is of a larger diameter, then the layer of dough will be smaller, and accordingly it will bake faster. The same will happen with the same forms, but if you take a half portion of the dough.
