Ksyusha, can the water be cold?
m0use
Cold water down, milk hot up. Your water will boil afterwards anyway, what's the difference.
Mirabel
Ksyusha, Aha, everything is clear! the line for cappuccino is lined up and I will do it again.

Greetings to all, I have such a problem: the smell from the lower compartment where the water is poured, it smells like metal, accordingly, all the water during cooking is saturated with the smell of metal and coffee also has a metallic taste, has anyone come across it?
Phoptik
Hello everyone! Tell me how to disassemble the valve? The foam began to stray badly, the valve works and cleaned, but I have a feeling that it poisons in the lower position. When I take it off, I can blow it out with my mouth in a non-June position. Is this normal?

I drink Illy most often in mine, I take the espresso grind, it seems to be the finest.

Yes, it is small and therefore not used in geyser coffee makers.
For such coffee makers, they use coffee grinding Moka, from the name of the coffee maker itself. Geyser coffee makers in Italy are called mochas.
And espresso coffee is used only for espresso machines.

The first 3 coffees are usually discarded. Then the coffee starts to turn out tasty and aromatic. The older the moka, the tastier the coffee in it.

what to do, what is hotter?
After preparing the coffee, leave the mocha on the fire for another minute. It's even written in the instructions.

so Illy fits mean?

It does not depend on the manufacturer, but on the grinding.

What a pity that fans of Korovkin's cappuccino don't come here anymore.
She is good for everyone, only in comparison with other Bialetti geysers, which are just enough to rinse with water after use. The Ladybug has to be washed from milk for a long time. And it is very large in size, it is inconvenient to hold it in hands when washing.
Mirabel
Tiziana, but I did not make friends with such a lady. Whatever I did, it turned out to be nonsense
Tiziana
Mirabel, And I have it quite recently. I was also afraid to buy it, I also read about explosions and that the foam does not work, so far everything is fine for me, and there is even more foam than I want.
But she amazed me with her size, so big ahhh.
Tiziana

about bialetti bricka, which is for espresso with foam. Some people get foam, but I don't.

If everything is flooded and backfilled according to the norm, tightly twisted, then everything should work out. If it doesn’t work out, then this is a marriage of the coffee maker itself and then don’t do anything, you won’t fix anything.

For those who cannot make friends, we have such coffee makers for the whole family, for me, my parents, my brother. Pour milk hot. Here is an example when I was visiting my parents, their morning begins with coffeeGeyser coffee maker Bialetti Mukka express
Rada-dms
Just today I watched a program in which they explained why it is better to drink coffee prepared in geyser coffee makers in comparison with Turkish coffee. All byaka that harms the body, and, in particular, the heart, it turns out, remains in the sediment! I myself like Turkish coffee more, but now I will alternate. Moreover, there is now a gas stove in the country.
Tiziana
Rada-dms, Aluminum, even food, is not very useful for the body, but if in moderation, then it is not scary.
Now there is a tendency (in Italy) to buy steel geysers for health reasons. Because Italians are terrible coffee lovers. But not everyone likes the taste of coffee from it.
Gingi
Tizianado you think Mukka will not replace Brikka? I made myself a cappuccino today and thought that if the valve is closed and the milk is not poured, then in theory the result should be similar? And then we get Brikka for three portions, and if the valve is not closed - the usual Moka Express. The only thing is, it is not clear what to do with concentration, the coffee will probably turn out to be very strong.
zvezda
Of course it will! It will make a great coffee with froth !!!
The Bialetti BRIKKA ELITE espresso machine has all the functions of the standard MOKA model with the addition of additional options. It is equipped with a special valve that allows the production of rich aromatic coffee with an authentic Italian “Crema”.

The Bialetti BRIKKA ELITE coffee maker is made of solid die-cast aluminum with a black acrylic handle. This new BRIKKA version has a top lid with a special hole, which means that you no longer need to keep the lid open while brewing coffee.

Did I understand correctly about espresso ??? And do not want strong coffee, buy 3 roast .... the most delicate !! In general, I don't drink anything except coffee, well, of course, water, and I dragged this unfortunate "ladybug" everywhere with me on trips and even bought an electric one in Italy (we haven't had any yet) so I tried to brew just coffee in it ... .. song !!!!

Masinen, I read about your headaches and caught myself thinking that I have the same thing. My head hurts until I drink coffee. Do you think this is an addiction?)

Of course coffee affects blood vessels, of course a measure is needed in everything.

Tell me, I bought this miracle here. So I have the upper valve, it is also the pump dangling. And in the upper reservoir where the pump is put on, there is a groove for an O-ring on the spout. Only now I didn't have it. And it seems to me that cappuccino does not work because of this, since part of the coffee does not go into the pump, but passes. That is, the pump is triggered, the button rises, but there is no foam at all, even by half a centimeter. Here is the picture I attached. This ring is there.Geyser coffee maker Bialetti Mukka express

I have such a question. here are different people and speak differently. there are 2 marks in the lower tank - someone says that the lower one is for cappuccino, and the upper one is for latte ... and someone says the lower one is for a gas stove, and the upper one is for an electric one (which I think is completely illogical). so how is it correct?

At the top mark is the amount of water for the electric stove. This is what the instructions say.

and why there is more water for an electric stove than for a gas stove - it turns out somehow illogical, think for yourself ...
Gingi
leshik2, the coffee maker comes with instructions and a measuring cup, it is convenient to measure water with it, but you can do without it. You do not have?
From the instructions for the coffee maker:
For cappuccino: Fill the water container with water. Use a measuring cup to fill the container to the indicated level (150 ml - ideal). This is up to the bottom ledge.
Mukka Express can be used to prepare coffee with milk: follow the instructions for making cappuccino, but add water to the container (about 400 ml of water). This is along the upper riser, to the valve.

The water level does not depend on the stove in any way.

that's ... that's what I wanted to hear. But then the question is different. There are 2 levels in the tank, why is the lower and upper ... the lower - less water is obtained, and the upper is more - why are there different volumes?

Hurray, my coffee maker came to the postomat ... a message came to pick up today. By the way, who cares ... I took it in the store .... (the names here seem to be prohibited) for 3450r. went to pick up, but the question remains ... why are there different water levels ...

The kit includes a plastic measuring cup. This cup has two measurements. The upper shows the water level for the electric stove, and the lower one for the gas. Everything is painted in small letters, did you see?

Not for water, but for milk. When you make a cappuccino, then a lot more foam is obtained, and, accordingly, less milk goes.

Yes, you need to be careful with milk, it's better not to add more than pour it, otherwise all the foam will not fit and will give tear.

Yes, mistake, sorry
leshik2
and by the way, if at the lower level in the tank, which is for water, it turns out 200 ml ... and not 150.! 50 is at the bottom line in a measuring cup.
And another question ... it seems here I saw such that after the valve shot, you need to hold the cow on the gas for another 1 minute, and then turn it off ... is this so or maybe I'm wrong?
And most importantly, all our dear and most beloved and most beautiful women HAPPY HOLIDAY ... how nice and pleasant it is to wake up in the morning and realize that there are such beautiful girls, girls, women, wives, daughters, mothers, grandmothers on this earth, aunts ... happy holiday to you, dear and beloved! truth is not yet 8, but I want to be the first ... you can

such an interesting nuance, here I heard someone had a valve flying well and all that ... a warranty period is not set for our ladybug, which means, by law, we can return it within 2 years ... if I'm wrong, then correct me
well it is, by the way

today is a women's holiday, I am a pulp and decided to experiment
1.Take milk 190 ml, (preheated in the microwave for 30 seconds) water 150 ml, coffee 15 g, wait 30 seconds after the valve is fired - the coffee temperature is closer to hot, there is foam
2.everything is the same, but the other comfort (fire is a little stronger) foam is almost absent
3.Everything is the same as in the first case, but 200 ml of water - almost no foam
4 milk for 34 rubles from a five (heated in the microwave for 30 seconds), coffee 15 g, water 150 ml, fire, which was for the first time - the result is all gorgeous
5. everything is like the first time, but the milk is heated in the microwave for 1 minute; the result is almost no foam.
6. everything is as in case 4, only the fire is very small - there is no foam at all.
so out of these five exp. it is clear that the volumes should correspond to the recipe, the fire should not be very weak, the milk should not be very hot (I found on the Internet that its temperature should not be higher than 70 degrees, and then someone said that it was almost boiling) ... In short, do not break the rules from the instructions, you need to experiment with fire. By the way, one more thing ... I almost forgot, with homemade milk ...in general, I could not beat it normally, and if it was whipped, then the foam is not dense and not persistent - it was I who beat it in the CM, and with a French press, and in a neat - I don't know how some people manage to beat it
sorry for so many letters ...
and once again all the beautiful ladies - happy holidays

add ... according to the rules 15g of coffee is 60 ml of water, and then 150 ml of water. Well, they swallowed ... then 130 ml of coffee (so roughly it turns out - 190 ml of milk, but it should be 130.
why am I ... comparing with KM is at least wrong.
Although I do not regret buying it. I will try to squeeze everything to the maximum and understand what's what.

My Mukka is already 5 years old and the instructions say that water is poured into the water container up to the bottom mark (150 ml) for making Cappuccino coffee (the button is down), and up to the top mark - for making just coffee with milk (button up ), the coffee is obtained without foam.
regarding the use of different types of stoves, only one remark: "If the stove is electric or with a ceramic surface, then place the coffee maker on a hotplate that is suitable in size, that is, approximately the same as the base of the coffee maker."

oh, just now I realized that talking about a measuring cup, and not about a coffee machine, I'm sorry, I got confused
leshik2
if by a measuring cup, then 150 ml is obtained, and if you add to the bottom mark in the tank of the coffee maker, then 200 is obtained. that's the confusion

I have such a purely technical question. how milk in this coffee maker can whip well if it is whipped in general for about 5 seconds. if it is whipped in the coffee machine for only 30 seconds. here they write about good foam and all that ... it's hard to believe that foam can form at least 1 cm in this coffee maker.
all this is not unfounded.

If the milk is normal, then the foam forms perfectly, sometimes you yawn a little, and it is already over the edge ...
