I want to ask the members of the forum about the "Nespresso" coffee makers from "Krups". Has anyone used these? They use coffee pills and have a pressure of 19 bar. I have long dreamed of a carob coffee maker, but I have nowhere to put it in the kitchen. And in "M Video" I saw these coffee makers. I thought for a long time and decided to buy, but I did not find information on them. I am very satisfied with the small dimensions of these coffee makers, ease of use (no need to grind and tamp coffee in a horn - put a pill in and you're done), the pressure of 19 bar is by far the highest of all coffee makers. If someone has heard reviews about these coffee makers, please write.
Uncle Sam
I will not tell you about specific Nespresso firms from Krups. An acquaintance used a Saeko coffee maker that runs on coffee pods (tablets).
His review: the taste of the drink in such coffee makers is very dependent on the raw materials; the offer by varieties and firms is limited; in terms of identical mugs - pods are more expensive than coffee in beans (firms sell the coffee maker itself with a minimum margin, and they make their swag on consumables); if you need an excellent taste and aroma, buy a coffee machine (it will sweep the coffee itself before brewing, make coffee to your taste, and throw the squeezed "pill" into a container, it costs current .....) or a carob 15 bar.
And the coffee maker on pill pods will fit perfectly into the office of a medium-sized company. The company pays for the pills, hands are clean, makes coffee better than instant coffee.
Yana
Uncle Sam, thanks for the quick response. A coffee machine is certainly good, but I already wrote that I have nowhere to put it. They usually come in large sizes. Carob are also rather big, if made with high quality. And they weigh a lot, you can't put them in a box. Therefore, I drew attention to the capsule "Nespresso". Compared to other coffee makers, some of their models are the smallest and weigh a little. In terms of cost, capsule coffee makers do not differ from good carob and coffee machines. Here is your answer and puzzled me. I thought coffee pods were just as good as coffee made in a coffee machine. Now I had doubts and decided to postpone the purchase. While I will use a drip coffee maker and drink American coffee.
Yana
I've been looking at Saeco for a long time. I know that these coffee makers are very good, all the owners are delighted with them. But they are so bulky, I just don't have a place in the kitchen to put them. Therefore, I choose more compact models. So far I stopped at Nespresso le Cube. She is the smallest and will fit perfectly into the kitchen design. But we only sell them in two colors. Although in the catalog this model is presented in a wider palette.

Yana
I have already looked at all types of espresso coffee makers and coffee machines, which only we sell. Smaller than the Nespresso le cube, no. They are the smallest in height - 23 cm.

But the price is too high for them.
Caprice
I bought myself a NESPRESSO ESSENZA C90 19 bar. True, there is no cappuccinator in it, and coffee is needed for it only in special capsules that the supplier delivers on orders.

The apparatus is small and compact. Let's see how it shows itself.
Tanyusha
Caprice Did you like the coffee capsules? Why am I asking, I personally didn’t like it at all, although the foam is very high as I like it, the coffee is good, but still I think it’s better in a Turk, but this is my personal opinion.
Caprice
I don't really like coffee in a Turk. Unless, if the coffee is ground into dust, and an exclusively manual coffee grinder with millstones, and immediately before brewing. Coffee ground in an electric coffee grinder in a Turk has no taste.
But I am not happy with these capsules either. But I have not tried all varieties yet. While at the tasting stage.Although the coffee comes out hot, with good crema. But these capsules are only for a very small cup of coffee. In this case, the coffee is more or less normal. If you pour in a little more water, the taste is gone.
Another advantage of Nespresso is highly quick preparation of a cup of coffee. This is especially important in the morning when you rush to work.
Yana
Caprice, I now have a Nespresso machine too. Like this:

Nespresso and coffee pods

I took in different capsules. While trying. I liked the Limited Edition coffee and Decaffeinato (decaffeinated) - for a small cup, but for a large one I bought only one sort - Finezzo, like nothing else.
Upon purchase, a certificate was issued in the amount of 1800 rubles for the purchase of accessories in the Nespresso boutique. With this money, I took a set of 2 coffee cups and saucers, specially released for the Limited Edition series. These porcelain cups are very cute, but they cost 1000 rubles. If not for the gift certificate, then I certainly would not have bought them. And so, it turned out very well. For the remaining amount, I scored 6 coffee spoons and a package of portioned sugar.
I have been using a Nespresso coffee machine for over a month now. The coffee is tasty, with a thick foam. Cooking takes a minimum of time. The cup volume can be programmed. No dirt, drops and capsules are collected in a special compartment. The operation of the coffee maker is very simple: you just need to insert a capsule and press a button. In general, I like everything in this coffee maker so far.
Caprice
YanaI can't say yet that I am wildly excited about the taste of their coffee. I ordered three of the strongest species Ristretto, Arpeggio, Roma, because we love strong coffee, and because these varieties are also suitable for cappuccino. The rest of the species are generally quite different in taste. A lot of foam, but no taste at all.
When buying us instead of a gift coupon, they simply returned some of the purchase price. And the goods in their boutique are terribly expensive, there is no point in buying them. In a china store, the exact same cup costs 10 times cheaper.
Caprice
Quote: Tortyzhka

Caprice, I agree with you, but very strong coffee is not good for health ...
Well, what can you do? Life is generally harmful, they die from life
And I have capsules, not pods, which are inserts. Such things that I saw inserts in the office of a lawyer I knew. These looked like tea bags, only smaller and round. Those that Nespresso supplies are such hermetically sealed ones that fit only for Nespresso coffee makers. This machine opens them under pressure to make a cup of coffee. By the way, as an experiment, I tried to do it in a large amount of water - and the truth: what a watery it turned out. In addition, I recently visited with friends, they have a coffee maker, in which there is an option for both one and two cups. For two, respectively, put more coffee. So there the coffee really seemed to me watery, even though they order some special sorts. I tried to explain to them for a long time and tediously that they would make a quantity of coffee for me as if for two cups, and poured water as for one, but, it seems, did not succeed.

And in Turks they cook a burda, and in coffee machines ... It depends on what you put there ...
Gold words! It is very important what to put there, and how much

Yana,
I wanted to buy a Nespresso for work, but I want a model with a Nespresso Nespresso D90 MG AEROC auto cappuccinator.

Please tell me, do you buy capsules in a Nespresso boutique or somewhere else, order with delivery or in a store? And yet, in the internet there are photos of 2 types of capsules - some are like plastic boxes with disposable coffee cream, others are just round sealed aluminum 6 types.
Are both types suitable, or just one?

Caprice
Alexandra, I personally have not seen Nespresso with a cappuccinatore on sale. Probably because in our country it is not yet sold. And the one I use has aluminum round hermetically sealed capsules. The other type does not fit there. Capsules can be purchased at Nespresso Service Centers (or are they called boutiques in your country?). They are ordered from us either by phone or via the Internet. Check out their website: 🔗
There are about 13 or 14 varieties of capsules (depending on preference)
Alexandra
Caprice,

Thanks for the answer. I have chosen a new model, I give below.
All capsules are sealed, but in boutiques (I did not find service centers, only 2 boutiques in Moscow, on Petrovka and on Novinsky Boulevard. As a whole in the country - I don’t know) ... Well, I will ask them if they fit too.

Alexandra, capsules for Nespresso are sold in Moscow only in 2 boutiques you mentioned. There is a large selection. I only buy from them, I didn't even ask in other places. I have not ordered delivery yet, because one of the boutiques is on my metro line and it will be faster to go for capsules than waiting for an order. Nespresso coffee is of high quality, delicious. When you brew it, the aroma goes throughout the apartment. The operation of the coffee maker is very simple and convenient. In general, I am satisfied.
You have chosen a good model of coffee maker for work. It is compact and inexpensive.
Recently in M. Video I saw a new model of Nespresso with a milk container. But the cost is about 20,000 rubles. If not for the price, then we could recommend it.

Yana, thanks for the answer.
On Monday we are waiting for the delivery of the coffee maker and capsules to work.
I also looked closely at the model that you give in the picture. But everything is so expensive to work with, and it is not yet known whether it will take root or not.
They won't give the coupon, as if they had such a promotion before, but now they don't.
But they persuaded to take 1 time of all types of coffee, 2 packs and 1 Special Blend, then they will give a box for capsules for free. We only agreed that the decaffeinated varieties will be replaced by others. Several colleagues also decided to participate in the purchase of capsules. I think that later it will be necessary to buy only the strongest varieties.

What varieties do you choose in the end? I have not yet figured out whether lungo varieties are suitable for cappuccino or anyway which ones?

You can buy such a model for your home. Maybe they will have some promotions, then it will be cheaper with a discount.

Alexandra, when buying a Nespresso coffee maker, you are given a box with 2 cups + saucers and a set of capsules (each grade 1 piece) to determine your tastes. The box also contains a folder with a booklet, something like a catalog of coffee varieties. There, just everything is painted, or rather indicated: which variety is suitable for which cup and which one is recommended for cappuccino. When you taste Nespresso coffee, choose the one you like.
I end up using decaf varieties more. It so happens that we sit down to drink coffee closer to the night. Regular sorts of coffee are very invigorating, then you won't sleep half the night. And Decaffeinato capsules are very suitable, since they do not have such an effect, although this does not affect the taste. I don't think you need them at work. For work, ordinary capsules are suitable, which invigorate. And with the right sort, decide when you receive the coffee maker.
They have good consultants in the Nespresso boutique, they will answer all questions, tell and show everything. They even called me at home asking if I was satisfied with the work of my coffee maker. The service there is top notch. So you've made a good choice. Congratulations!
Alexandra
Yana, Thank you!

Although they ordered in the boutique by phone, it seems to me that there will be no free cups - they sent a catalog of their dishes by mail and offered to order a pair for 770 rubles, if I'm not mistaken. Free capsules, I think, too, will not be once persuaded for all varieties of 20 capsules.
Yes, decaf will not work for work. You need coffee to invigorate.

And for home, if I buy a capsule one, then without a cappuccinator - I have an excellent manual one, a few strokes and cold foam is ready from zero pasteurized Valio. I don't really like hot. And I also don't like it when milk is poured into a cappuccino. Therefore, at home, I whip the foam manually and apply it with a spoon.

And at work there are just a couple of cappuccino lovers, well, sometimes I will drink, the main thing is not to bother with unnecessary dirty dishes, the auto cappuccinator can be combined with an ordinary carton of milk.

Yana, Alexandra, the regiment of lovers of lazy but tasty coffee has arrived. Unfortunately, our country is small, and the so-called. we have only one Nespresso boutique, and it is located in Tel Aviv. Well, it's lazy for me to go there, 45 km away. go for capsules, so I order online or by phone. When ordering 200 capsules at the same time, delivery is free, and a familiar messenger calls me upon delivery and asks where exactly I want to get my coffee at the moment: home or to work (depending on where he catches me during the call). It is much more convenient for me, and I place an order every 2-3 months. They recently sent me a letter that they had a new variety of Arabica capsules, which was not available before. I think I'll order it when I place my next order.

Caprice, Yana,

Today, unexpectedly for myself, I was already the owner of Nespresso.

I drove into the boutique just to see everything live, and along the way I found out that there was no such model with an auto cappuccinator in the boutique and they would have brought me a regular model just for espresso on Monday.
After a long inquiry and calls to the ordering service of the Nespresso club, it was found out that such a model is in fact a special promotion not of the boutique itself, but only of partner stores, limited edition, when 1 set includes an ordinary Nespresso D90 coffee maker and an electric cappuccinatore jug Aerochchino, for the price of one coffee machine.

And the consultant unobtrusively but firmly suggested to me, since I arrived anyway, to pick up and pay for the order on the spot, that is, to buy a simple coffee maker and a cappuccino maker for 2200 rubles.

And I was terribly surprised when I refused. Instead, in the nearby M-Video I bought a set of coffee maker + free electric cappuccinator + 12 capsules minus 2 cups and saucers mentioned by Yana.

When I returned for the rest of the order - a set of 25 capsule packs plus a free casket, 3 unpleasant moments awaited me:

1.the consultant strictly warned me that I should not cancel the order other than 2 working days, otherwise now she left only information to the person on duty and there is a possibility that the order will still be delivered to me - as if it was my fault that they promised a model with a cappuccinator and were not going to deliver it, and as a butoh she herself suggested that I cancel the order and take everything from them;

2. although we agreed on the phone that all decaffeinated capsules in the set would be replaced with ordinary ones, now it turned out that this is impossible;

3. The funny thing is that the notorious ebony boxes, because of which they had to fork out for all sorts of varieties, were not available ... maybe later, when they appear ...

Well, the coffee itself is very decent, although the weak Cosi is weak and watery. And stronger varieties
But the cappuccinator is probably for the best, which is separate. At work, the coffee maker will stand far from the kitchen and it would be problematic to rinse the pipe every time. A jug on a separate stand like a mini electric teapot is a great idea, especially for free. He drives in a dense, fluffy foam from that same pasteurized Butter Milk, which my manual does not overpower. Zachot

Tomorrow we will be with colleagues already with coffee with froth, for espresso it is also excellent, and without unnecessary dirt.

Yana
Alexandra, it's good that everything ended perfectly!
Now I looked at the M. Video website for a description of Nespresso coffee machines. There are no cups, but there used to be. Probably they are no longer put. But the cups themselves are nothing special: glass + black plastic saucers. I don't even use them.
And your purchase is successful. I bought this Aerochino separately. But now Aerochino + has appeared. It is larger in volume - 250 ml and makes the foam hot or cold. For work, this one is probably better suited, because you can make foam for several cups at once.
Don't worry about Decaffeinato varieties. They taste very good, only, as I already wrote, they do not invigorate.

They recently sent me a letter that they had a new variety of Arabica capsules, which was not available before.

Caprice, I also receive letters with their catalogs, but we have not yet had a new sort of coffee. If you order, then describe how it tastes. Probably in Russia it will also be sold.

Owner girls Nespresso, please share your feelings after a year of using the coffee maker. Was there a slight disappointment or, on the contrary, complete delight? I want to buy a decent minimum-size coffee maker for my dacha. At home, Saeka brews coffee (a coffee machine, not a coffee machine).
And another question - how to make coffee for two in Nespresso? As I understand it, there is no attachment for two cups. Then cook one by one? It turns out that one is already enjoying, and the other is still in anticipation?
How long does it take to brew a cup of espresso, what is the outlet temperature of the coffee (hot enough or lukewarm), and how the amount of water entering the cup is adjusted (i.e. coffee strength).
I apologize if the questions are amateurish and stupid, but I still want to get answers to them.
My gratitude will be limitless
Alexandra
sgf45

Right now, in November, an action has begun in Nespresso - they are selling 3 types of new coffee makers, incl.one to cook 2 cups at once. And if a Nespresso club member is recommended for purchase, then he (or a club member, or the one who buys if a club member gives him his certificate) a certificate for 3000 rubles for buying coffee capsules or branded coffee utensils. I already gave mine.

By the way, at work we cook several cups and then drink together - it flows quickly, almost instantly. Personally, I would not bother, but this is a matter of taste and aesthetics.

In cheap models, the amount of water is adjusted manually, in more expensive ones it is automatically: espresso and lungo. For quality coffee, there should be a standard amount of water: 40 ml of water for an espresso capsule, 140 ml for a lungo capsule. And according to the strength and taste, you can choose from 16 varieties, including 3 decaffeinated ones. Fortress from 10 to 3 units.

The coffee is hot, but not boiling.

Compared to Saeko, it loses in taste, because after all, this is not freshly ground coffee, at first it seems that it is not worse, but you taste and understand the difference (at home Saeko Nina Bar, at work Nespresso).

A very convenient electric cappuccino maker, especially Aerochchino +, which prepares both hot and cold milk foam.

In general, it is ideal for work, does not create dirt and does not need fuss. And Saeko is better for the house.

I have not experienced either complete delight or disappointment. I buy varieties with the highest strength on a 10-point scale. I can only say that when I visit where there are coffee makers, after Nespresso, I don't like coffee. But what is the reason, I find it difficult to say. It is possible that people who treated me to their coffee from their machines, either save coffee, or simply have no idea what a good espresso should be.

Here is about the Nespresso Citiz coffee maker, including the version that prepares 2 cups

Caprice
Interesting link. But, in any case, for a "two-cup" model of a coffee maker, you must use two coffee capsules. In this case, I did not notice the advantages of this model over my "one-cup" one. Especially when you consider that in my "Nespresso", in order to prepare two cups of coffee one after the other, it does not take a long period of time, just replace the capsule, which is done very quickly
Nespresso CitiZ & Co. - coffee machine with two cups serving, designed for home use

Alexandra
Caprice , I completely agree with you.

But since such a question is from sgf45 was, I voiced this information. And there, everyone can decide for himself whether such an option is needed, I am sure that it is more expensive, for the sake of one minute of non-waiting, or not
Caprice
Alexandra, what's the minute? If you immediately prepare the required number of capsules and cups, then the operation of replacing the capsule and cup in the "one-cup" apparatus takes just seconds. This is the advantage of Nespresso, even the simplest models
Alexandra
Caprice Yes, that's right, it will take less than a minute to prepare and serve a few cups.
sgf45
Girls, thank you all for the information. I bought it! I took a red CitiZ, of course, single, I was shown its capabilities in the store, they gave me a taste of coffee.
It turns out that the volume of water for one cup can be programmed, this is in the event that 40 and 110 ml do not suit, which are set by default. And my husband did even easier when he found the espresso very strong: he passed water into a cup of coffee for the second time through a used (but not discarded) capsule!
So, now at the dacha I'll be with good coffee

Help, who knows, please! Presented exactly the same capsule coffee machine https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=1163.0 with a set of probes. I put the cup about 120 ml.I always press the button where the larger cup is drawn. Pours every other time: 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 or full. Why is this happening? And when you press again to top up, the coffee tastes like plastic.
Could it be a machine malfunction?
Alexandra
rsvek , this should not be.
The only thing is that I'm not sure if this is the same model. The most primitive Essenza that is depicted there does not have different buttons for pouring. There is only one button and the water is manually controlled.

So it makes sense to understand the instructions - maybe there is a different number of clicks for different types of capsules.

Epresso capsules are for small 40ml cup only, lungo for 110ml large cup. If you pour more, the videoconference really becomes disgusting.

If all else fails, contact Nespresso's single toll-free number

Well, in any case, they will professionally advise, maybe you are doing something wrong. Also, by registering with them on this phone in the Nespresso club, you will be entitled to free cleaning (as soon as you order capsules), and a number of information services and delivery of purchases.

Thank you very much! Most likely it is - I am doing something wrong. Since my husband read the instructions and explained to me on his fingers where to press.
And the model is very similar to the one I indicated. Two buttons on either side with different sized cups and a water container on the back. Water, apparently, is supplied by some kind of mechanism such as a pump, because when you press the button, the sound is as if the pump starts to work.
Alexandra
If this is the same model, there is no auto adjustment ...

On the left of my button for turning on the machine (lights up in red), on the right is the button for pouring water (lights up green and you need to press it 1 time - water is pouring, the second - it stops)

The models are similar in appearance, but there are different functions, the price depends on them. You can determine by the markings on the case, find the model on the Internet and understand what is there
sve
I'll look now.
Written on the left by ESSENZA
Right NESPRESSO
Power button at the back at the bottom under the water tank (slightly to the right). And two buttons with cups light up green on both sides. On the right with a larger cup, on the left with a smaller
In this photo, by the way, the container is not visible
And at the bottom (if you turn it over) Type D100 is also written
Alexandra
Well, yes, you have an automated model.
if you take an espresso capsule, you need to press the button with a small cup. If lungo - with a large cup. You don't need to top up anything.

Thus, the large cup should be 110 ml, and the small cup should be 40 ml.
But only if inside the buttons there is still some programming of the number of clicks ...

Here they have a kushin auto cappuccinator Nespresso +, so if you press the button shortly, the hot foam gets lost, and if you hold it cold ...

Better call! They work around the clock
PS looked in the internet: Description:

high pressure pump (19 bar);
compact size;
the ability to customize the volume of the drink;
semi-automatic ejection of the used capsule;
container for collecting used capsules ..

This means that water will flow randomly until you adjust it to a certain amount. How is it done in your machine - I don't know. It is necessary to read the instructions or still call.
sve
How to distinguish between capsules? espresso or lungo?
Alexandra
Well, you will become a member of the club - they will give you all the booklets ...

In general, Lungo should be written on the lungo capsules. It can be bright yellow, blue or pink capsules. Everyone else is espresso
sve
Thank you very much for your help, patience and clarification !!!
Sorry for the silly questions. I will call when I have taken all the brochures and instructions at work. Most likely, they have some information that will be asked for admission to the club.
