Hairpin,

It is better to pay attention not to the coffee machine, but to yourself a small and cheap (in comparison) geyser coffee maker Mukka-Express, which brews espresso with cream foam and cappuccino.

We all bought it here and hid our coffee machines. I personally put my Saeko Nina Bar away for long-term storage.

I subscribe to your every word! I am also for the "ladybug"! I only regret that I didn’t hear about the "ladybug" before I bought my Bork coffee machine, a good machine, but ... it takes up a lot of space ... cow "Mukkoy" now I will never part! Espresso from the "ladybug" tastes better to me personally than from a coffee machine, the "cream" warbler is amazing, and the strength and aroma .... and in general what the doctor ordered! I am also for "Mukka" !!! I highly recommend it!

Alexandra, you can get some reference. where can you look at this coffee maker - "cow" and get information about it?

Today I cooked cappuccino in the "ladybug" for my daughter, I really liked the foam:

Initially it was even "stronger", in the photo the coffee has stood for 5-8 minutes. Oh, sorry, I don't like cappuccino ...
P.S. Every day I love mine cow more and more "ladybug" 🔗!!!

So here I am about the same, I bought a coffee machine that I no longer need, having spent about 12 thousand on it ... it would be better if I had acquired a herd of "cows" with this money!

Girls, and someone has met a "ladybug" in Ukraine. She caught fire very much
k.alena
I saw in the Caravan. At the entrance to the grocery supermarket, there is a tea, coffee shop on the corner. There was a set with 2 cups. I just don't know, maybe they are of different sizes. The one that I saw seemed to me not small and the price too (I won't say for sure whether 550 UAH, or all 700), in general, the price scared away
Qween
I have already found it too, but our price is very high. I already own a coffee maker, and it makes a great cappuccino froth. I don't even know what to do. I'll think more ...

Bought in Ukraine Mukka Express Glass Top (with glass top). I was pleased with the quality of the coffee maker, branded Italian packaging, and the quality of the resulting cappuccino. I bought it via the Internet at the Bialetti brand store (). The goods were delivered quickly and efficiently, with all precautions.

As mentioned above, the thickness and quality of the froth depends on the milk. On home, village, milk, everything works out very well.

When ordering a coffee maker, I did not pay attention to the amount of coffee received, I limited myself to reading that for 1 serving. However, Italians drink coffee in buckets

Congratulations on your purchase! Did you buy the "ladybug" specifically for cappuccino? I actually bought it for espresso for myself, by the way, I have the same as yours, with a transparent body and for 1 serving, and so the portion of espresso comes out quite small (just right for me, no more, no less), and cappuccino , which I cook for my daughter, too, does not seem to be a particularly large portion, somewhere around 200 ml., although I pour milk exactly 100 ml., that is, just below the mark.
As for milk ... I try not to buy milk above 1.5% fat, or even better, below ... Who can tell you how much protein should be in milk in order to get high-quality foam?
Alexandra
Tiny,

A couple of times I did a cappuccino in Korovka, how I "discovered" the fact that you can make espresso - so I completely switched to it
Husky
Girls, can you please tell me, can you make coffee on a stove with glass ceramics in a mukka coffee maker?

I do not know what kind of mukka coffee maker is. But if we are talking about a geyser coffee maker, then you can, I cook.

I came to say thank you to everyone for the tip on this coffee maker !!!
I've already made friends with her. My cow has stopped running away! Really like milk the coffee she gives !! Foam just
But I have a question. When my coffee ran away, there was never any water left in the lower tank. Now water is sure to remain. Is this how it should be? Or is it not connected with "escape" at all?

I always have a little water in the bottom tank. I read somewhere that this is normal.
Me too !
Elenka
I also have a little water in the geyserer KF. I understand that this is protection against overheating. If you keep it on fire for a longer time, then a stream of steam comes out of a small valve in the lower tank. And the valve is not simple - there is a small ball in it, as if from a bearing.
These are just my observations ...
As I discovered a "shortage" of water, I began to pour 20-30 ml more (for the remainder)

I bought a ladybug yesterday !!! : D Many thanks to Alexandra! !! I'm going on a trip, and without coffee, nowhere ... so I counted. that it will be cheaper for me to buy and carry with me .... I tried to cook (this despite the fact that I have a good coffee machine), in general, I am absolutely delighted !!! Simple, quick .... just the first time I was scared by the pop when the button jumped. The only thing is that the coffee was not very hot, maybe I warmed it up a little ??? how much should it be kept on the stove ???

With the "ladybug" you !!!
I have the same problem, I tried to leave the cow on the stove for a while after making coffee (as the instruction teaches) - it did not help, and even the prepared coffee slowly flows back into the lower tank ... I somehow measured the temperature of a cappuccino (for my daughter I made ) from the "ladybug" -55 degrees, I think and espresso (for myself, I only brew it), it turns out about the same ... and I love burning coffee ...

Congratulations!
For a hot cappuccino, I preheat the milk.
Experiment with the temperature for "making" cappuccino, etc. find your taste.
After firing off the valve, the longer it is on fire, the worse the taste.
I found such a recipe for myself (Kenya beans, medium / slightly less than medium grind): on high heat (not protruding beyond the bottom diameter) I heat until the first coffee "seeps" into the upper container (I have a glass top), then I reduce the flame to a minimum ... My cooking time is 4 minutes. If everything is done on high heat or slow - not mine, not the taste.
The correctness of preparation and the size of the grinding of the beans can be tracked by the resulting coffee tablet. It should be just like a tablet, and not a wet mass and grains should not get into the finished drink. For myself, I noticed that the more solid the tablet (without breaks, exfoliation) - the tastier the coffee pours. In addition, the temperature regime changes the density and quality of the cream (foam), this is in addition to the original quality and fat content of the milk. Avoid soy and soy + natural (in the markets, people are thoughtful, everyone has soy cows) - the cream is not the same, and the cappuccino will taste disgusting.

With hot market milk (real), the lid stops the cream. I always think that they will be over the edge on the stove. With the same cold milk (from the refrigerator), less cream is obtained.

Remember to remove the filter and wash all offal. If you do not wash the filter for a long time, then it is problematic to clean it (it gets clogged). Coffee oil is good, but when not too old. The older the coffee "plaque", the hotter and smelly coffee will be. It is especially felt when Mukka is not used for a long time. After removing the filter you will see it - a thick brown "bloom".

Never remove the valve until Mukka has cooled down completely. There is always a little water left in the lower container, and with the valve removed, you can get a fountain from boiling water. It will hardly hit a person, but you will make the ceiling.

They say that coffee dehydrates the body, but I can handle the heat more easily with it (cappuccino).

Kazak !!! Thank you for your detailed consultation !!! : flowers: We only have store milk. I didn't understand which filter ... is that the one with the mesh ?? But I won't get a pill ... I drink weak coffee

You are welcome.

The main emphasis on milk is real, not soy. The fatter, the more and better the cream. Many gourmet recipes use regular eggnog instead of milk cream. You can generally buy a spray of cream in the store (I don’t know what they are made of. I haven’t tried it). I noticed that if Mukka hums loudly and fervently, the creams will be excellent, if shyly, apologizing - good, but not enough

Filter - mesh. Remove the rubber ring carefully. From the inside, both him and all the insides of Mukka must be washed. Be careful not to deform the filter or tear the rubber ring. Buy a replacement valve and filter if possible. Once I forgot about the "charged" Mukka. As a result, the valve got stuck, broke. All the water has boiled away. The safety valve worked clearly. There were no fires or explosions. Mukka's appearance was not damaged at all. Even the paint is intact. I was looking for a valve and a filter on sale for a very long time (3 weeks). I'm thinking about buying a special electric stove with sensors and timers for Mukka, also with an adapter for a car cigarette lighter. / This is not an advertisement. As I wrote above, I already slept once. I want to automate the process / After this incident, I am very pleased with the real Italian quality. (by the way, advertising Italian wall calendars were enclosed in my package with Mukka. I was very surprised by the names of their months and days of the week. I didn't expect them. However, we were misinformed from childhood not only about this - but also about Arabic numerals, which are not even close to Arabic (I'm talking about our pseudo-Arabic numerals)

Tablets are not produced due to incorrect grinding (size) and temperature conditions. You need to "play around" with this - to choose a certain type of grain for yourself. If the specified conditions are correct, the tablet is whole and no water remains in the lower reservoir. The tablet does not depend on the amount of coffee added. After firing off the valve, do not keep it on fire for a long time - it will taste bitter and spoil.
I haven't personally tried it, but gardeners recommend using waste coffee as fertilizer. The soil there acidifies, there are fewer pests, etc.

If water / moisture stays in the lower tank for a long time, oxides form - such strange build-ups. In the initial stage, they can simply be wiped off with a wet cloth. In advanced cases, the usual solution of table vinegar. After the vinegar, you will have to drive away the coffee for a long time - the smell and taste will be disgusting. It is imperative to remove oxides.(it is better not to inform them). But I repeat - never remove the valve until Mukka has completely cooled down.

If you want to draw a coffee pattern on top of the cream - after filling the coffee glass and emptying the Mukka - turn the Mukka even more (which one upwards). The result will be a pattern on top of the cream, and a "layered" coffee drink (a clear three-color border). It looks nice. And the cappuccino itself will be stronger as a result.
By the way, under the same conditions, the taste of latte (coffee with milk - the valve is initially raised) and cappuccino (the valve is pressed) are very different.

A matter of taste.
For example, if I'm not lazy, I make coffee in a cezve (Turk). The most important advantage of the cezve over all coffee machines is the ability to regulate the strength of the drink (depending on the number of "approaches"). Coffee beans are better than cezve; no appliance / machine opens. Here you have both the taste and the aftertaste. Usually I "froth" at least 3-4 times. IMHO, no coffee machine can compare with the quality of the resulting drink with cezve.

I also really liked the mucca-cappuccino, both in terms of ease of use and the quality of the resulting drink. It's a pity only she, like all coffee machines in general, does not fully "reveal" coffee beans, in comparison with cezve. And with the mobility of Mukki Zvezda is right - always and everywhere there is an opportunity to make coffee. I am soluble or "Jewish" (aka "Polish" - when ground grains are poured with boiling water and insisted) I have not drunk for a long time and I have no desire to stay - all because of Mukka. I’ll also buy myself an electric stove from a cigarette lighter for Mukka - and I’ll be a king for myself. Although at work in each department, there are Siemens and Saeko (far from budget devices), but after buying Mukka, I often make coffee (cappuccino) in it.
A matter of taste.

A question for the owners of the mucca cappuccino coffee maker. A friend once visited me, I treated her to a cappuccino from my 15 barre delonga. A friend was delighted with the drink, she also began to dream of a coffee maker. I don't have enough time to fiddle with a coffee maker, but how about a cow ??? Is it faster and easier to make cappuccino in it ?? What will have to grind the grains? Do you need a millstone coffee grinder? (You can, of course, buy ground coffee). Or is it better to wait until the child grows up and then buy her a 15 barr coffee maker and a normal coffee grinder ???
zvezda
Do you have a coffee maker without a coffee grinder ??? You just fall asleep in the ground horn ??? Then Mukku is easier !!
musyanya
zvezda, I have everything as it should: both a coffee maker and a millstone coffee grinder.
My friend has nothing - I'm worried about her, what she'd better buy for herself. So I wonder if she needs a simple cow or buy 15 bbl delongues like mine.
zvezda
In no way did she want to doubt anything. .. just different coffee makers, so I ask you if you have a built-in coffee grinder or separately ??? Maybe I'm not explaining this way ???
musyanya
Separate, brown, different, better quality, did not have the opportunity to buy.

I have a 150W knife grinder. in 15-17 seconds, the grains are crushed to powder. The amount of grinding is regulated by time. The smaller, the larger. In coffee grinders, the main thing is that there is as little plastic as possible in the container with ground coffee - the "powder" is electrified and then it is difficult to remove it. A lot of ground coffee remains on the lid and sides. Ideally, the ground coffee cup should be made of metal. (Do not forget - during grinding, coffee is "roasted")

The full cycle of making cappuccino in Mukka is as follows:
1. Pour water into the lower Mukka tank up to the mark - about 3 seconds
2. grind the grains and pour into Mukka - about 30 seconds
3.heat the milk and pour it into the upper container of Mukka - about 30 seconds (I almost bring it to a boil.If you don't heat the milk, the drink will not be very hot)
4.preparing cappuccino (remember to press the valve) - 3-5 minutes

Benefits of Mukka - it takes up little space, it is easy to clean both milk and old coffee oily film, which spoils the taste of coffee with old age.

Lack of Mukka - requires being present when preparing a drink (if you did not buy a special electric stove for Mukka. It turns off automatically.)

If your girlfriend is interested not in cappuccino, but in coffee - it is better and cheaper to buy copper! cezve (Turk) and a coffee grinder.

Alternatively for a cappuccino:
buy cezve and french press (glass flask with piston) for milk. There will be a lot of manual work, but the quality of the drink is the best, compared to vending machines and semi-vending machines. And the savings in this case are enormous.

Advantages of cezve: only in cezve can you get real, rich coffee (just rich, thick, and not watery like in all vending machines and semi-vending machines). Achieved by multiple "cooking" cycles.

Disadvantages of cezve: if your water boils - coffee is spoiled, you can pour it out. It is advisable (but not necessary) to cook in the sand.

Why then. Can. Look at the links given by Alexandra.
In my house I have a large selection of dairy (natural milk, purchased) and sour-milk cuisine (I make myself. 20 dishes for sure). I even bake bread only on milk (not on water).
I can still hold out without coffee, but without milk I can't (the Don Cossacks have one of the main dairy cuisine, water is not for drinking). That's why I make cappuccino. I don't like the latte. Yes, and my gastritis expresso will not pull.

I have 2 glass ones. I bought one over the Internet in her homeland - in Italy (extra. I received a large can of Illy-mucca coffee as bonuses. What we sell even next to their Illy is not born. Italian is much better. And a large Italian wall calendar. Was surprised months and days of weeks).Together with delivery in UAH about 300-400 UAH.
The second in the Kiev online store. OK. 700 UAH Packaging, stamps, engraving, appearance and instructions are the same as in Italian. So China is not being pushed (it can be seen even by the quality of the Russian section in the instructions)

Now, indeed, even on an Internet, the price has grown at least about 600 UAH without delivery.
BUT! You can always "look for" shares - and buy for a third of the price.

PS Sometimes it is more profitable to buy directly from the store, not through ebay
