Thank you very much for your answers.
Eh, the fact of the matter is that I found both in online stores. Now I'm eating older or newer model to take ...
natalka
If you have a choice, then buy a new one. It seems to me that the cover of the new saucepan will be more reliable. My first cartoon car (old model) went to my mother with several scratches (she didn't leave because she got scratched, they bought a second one for my mother, and my mother decided that the new one should remain for the children). The second (also of the old model) migrated safe and sound to his son in the hostel, but now it is all scratched. And mine (of a new model), although I use it "both in the tail and in the mane," and besides, I treat it not at all like a sissy, in a completely normal state. There is one dot on the bottom, but nothing happens to it, and on the old coating, from one dot, it began to inflate with bubbles and clamber with laftaks.
Yes, even a new valve will be more convenient to wash.
Mams
natalka, on the old coating, from one dot, it began to inflate with bubbles and climb around with laftaks.

I have an old saucepan, it's already a year old. There is a small scratch on the bottom. But nothing slips ... It's just a scratch and that's it ... I can't say about the valve, I don't have a new one, there's nothing to compare with. But even with an old one, the valve is washed normally. Dismantled into two parts - and rinsed ... And what is more convenient with the new one? Can you take a photo of the new valve? It even became interesting. I think not only to me

natalka
The new one is also disassembled into two parts, but it does not have that big rubber band, maybe because of this it will be easier.
I did not insist and did not prove to anyone that the old one was bad. I just had both myself and, according to my feelings, the coating of the new one is better, and the valve is not so fundamental, but also slightly more pleasant.
I'll go take a picture in detail.

I like the valve in the old multicooker better and wash and insert. In the new one, it feels like it does not fit snugly into the lid, you want to push everything harder

Hi there!

I still ordered a Panasonic.
I was very tormented yesterday the rest of the day. I ordered it for lunch. The hand still reached out to cancel the order, but Hotter did not leave his thoughts.
But...
I do not know, I hope I will not be disappointed ...
My husband will bring it today.

Hostess, would you advise me to create in it for the first time?
I wanted very jellied meat, but apart from meat there is nothing ...
larimari
Yukka , Congratulations!!!!

Try it, meat in French:

At the bottom, multi finely chopped onions and bake for 20 minutes, at this time cut and beat the meat, coat with mayonnaise and cartoon on both sides. At the end of the time, put the chopped tomato on top, salt, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Turn on the "pilaf" mode.

And then enjoy a delicious dinner !!!
Yukka
larimari, thanks.
And how thick should the meat be?
larimari
Yukka , I do as for the oven, something about 1 cm thick. I take pork, it always comes out soft.
Yukka
The husband arrived late. Therefore, I have not tried it yet.

I have a question. I read somewhere that a book with recipes comes with a cartoon. I didn't have it.
Only instruction manual. There are a few recipes in it.

Have I been cheated?
Mueslik
Yukka, the recipe book does not go to the multicooker, only the number of recipes that are in the instructions ...
Yes, the site is full of used recipes - take any
Yukka
There were more questions.

Do you use wooden spatulas or spoons when cooking? I read something about silicone ... I have only the first ones.

Mneb for HP to buy, but I do not know where.

There is an arrow on the valve. Do you need to rotate it in different modes?

I also read that you shouldn't wash a saucepan with detergents. This is true? How to wash it?
I pour it over after cooking, then wash it with a soft sponge with fairies.
I even read that you can't rub. True, I'm not rubbing ... but only mine.

Mdaaa, I have some funny questions ...

Yukka ,
I use both wooden and silicone (I bought the second at IKEE).

No, you don't need to rotate. The valve consists of two parts, each with arrows that serve as guidelines for correct valve assembly.

This refers to detergents with abrasive particles to avoid scratches. They can't. I myself, just like you, use a soft sponge and fairies.

Hairpin, you seem to have a 2.5 liter multicooker. Do you have enough volume? And then everyone is looking for 4 liters. We don't have them in stores. But suddenly there will be some opportunity, so I would like to know about the volume.
On the contrary, we were looking for a small one. As an example, the minimum portion of oatmeal is enough for my husband and me. A minimum portion for 4 liters. more. Then we would have had left. It also depends on how many days to cook. If I did something on Monday, I won't eat on Thursday.
That is, if the family is more than three people, then 4 liters is needed. If there are two adults + a small child or only two adults - probably a small one.
And yet - if it is only MV technology, and the oven does not work, then, probably, it is also large.
In short, we are small - above the roof.
agata116
Hello, thanks to your site, and most importantly to the people who leave their comments, I was able to choose a bread maker and I am very pleased with my Panasonic 255, thank you very much, I have already baked 4 types of bread, everything turned out great.
But now, I really want to buy a multicooker, but again I don’t know about the size of 2.5 liters. or 4, I have a family of two adults and a child of 7 years old, we don't eat very much, it seems to me that 2.5 is better for me, but still I doubt whether she can bake normal casseroles or cakes, please tell me the minimum volume for multi 2.5 l. for example porridge, soup, pilaf, I really look forward to hearing, thank you all in advance.
Boo Boo
I think it's better to take on 4.
Hope
For cakes, a large one is better.

For cakes, a large one is better.

Why? What because of the shape, such as bigger and more beautiful, or better baked? Please reply.
Cake
It is baked, and in general, "cooked" in both multicooker is equally wonderful. Just 2, 5 liters is really quite "for bachelors" This is the full volume indicated, but it is dangerous to pile "under the lid", in reality there will be somewhere around 1.5 liters of food ... Not enough! Now, if you manage to look at both cartoons at once, you will immediately say to yourself "Oh, she's even small!"
Take a big one, there is 4.5 liters, you will make soups-pilafs 2-2.5 liters, that's it !!! A 3-liter can of milk is entirely placed for boiling, whole chicken, beef shank for jellied meat. In the summer, the compote is immediately a large portion to get drunk, casserole ..
In this thread, it has already been said more than once - you can cook a little in a big cartoon, but in a small one you can do a lot! Once you have decided, then take it immediately with a margin. Although you will use it and understand that this is not a "reserve", but the required volume.
About gluttony. on the large mule 670 W is written, but apparently this is the maximum power (baking). The usual modes "buckwheat," "stewing" are less voracious. I cook daily, but the receipts don't shock me.I would even say. that the appearance of the multicooker did not affect consumption in any way ...

Electricity doesn't really bother me, with such a huge amount of equipment in the house, one less device, one more ...
Thank you very much for your answer, I understand that in a maximum of a 2.5-liter multicooker, you can cook dishes with a volume of 1.5 liters, and in 4 liters - 2.5 liters, right?
Cake
Well, it's like in an ordinary saucepan! If it is 5-liter, then theoretically it can hold 5 liters of soup, but you will not cook "under the lid" so that everything would pour onto the stove ?! Here it is the same. Under the pressure of circumstances, I made several dishes that did not reach the edge of the saucepan by 1 cm, but at the same time I was very afraid that everything would go through the valve ... It is much more pleasant to cook in half a saucepan, you can stir more thoroughly, etc.
This is my personal opinion, choose for yourself
Hope
The cakes bake well in both cartoons, but the size ....
I have 2 large slow cookers and I have never regretted not having bought a small one. Cake correctly writes that you can cook a little in a large saucepan, but on the contrary, it will not work.

I really want a little cartoon. And there are only big ones I definitely don't need a big one

So I'm thinking, maybe I can take a chance and buy 2.5 liters

If you can afford only one (for money or for the availability of space in the kitchen), then expect a big one, and if there is hope for more, then take a small one because you will not stop at one anyway. I also have a big family (by the number of people like you) and there is always work for a small cartoon. I don’t know about you, but my whole family is rarely going to have a meal together. And in a small cartoon you can cook meat for everyone, and porridge for 3-4 people and a casserole of sufficient size, and a wonderful omelette. True, I have a big one (she gets to work less often than a small one) and a pressure cooker. In short, it's up to you.
It's just that my uncle, when he bought a small multicooker for me in the summer in Ukraine, didn't take it for himself, he decided to wait for a big one. So what? Firstly, there were still no large ones, and secondly: the price for them has grown terribly there. In the summer he took me a small one for 450 grams, and now it costs (somewhere it was on the forum the other day) 1485 and the big one is 1800. How do you expect such an expectation. No, I certainly understand that the dollar has risen in price, but not by that much, and people's salaries have not grown from this, since the majority still does not receive dollars in dollars.
natalka
My family is big, and the work is in a big cartoon, a small one, and a pressure cooker. In any case, cooking in such saucepans is a pleasure. And if you, agata116, decide on one, then most likely buy the second. Here the majority went this way and did not regret shopping.
lenami
Ramizel
And I still would have waited big. When I was choosing which one to buy, thanks to the girls from the forum who advised me to take it for 4.5 liters. I do not regret it at all. In it, you can cook a small amount and a large one.And even more so, you have such a large family.
lenami
I decided to die my cartoon at 4.5. It turned out that if to the boundary line then exactly 3 liters.

Do you know, by chance, how much to the limit line in the small one?
larimari
I just measured it - exactly two liters.
natalka
Well, you really do not specifically focus on the limit line. You can pour or put more, it's not so scary. Sometimes I poured one cm below the edge, but such a volume is permissible only for stewing, when there is no boiling, and on other programs it is fraught.
Kitten
I have some strange limiters. 1.8 L is written above the uppermost line. I measured it with a liter jar - almost 4 liters (3.8-3.9 liters) .It is not clear which 1.8 L

On the cons for me for 1 day of use:

- there is no countdown timer (i.e. not all programs show when cooking ends)
- strange measurements on the sides of the bowl
- there is no spare bowl (one for sweets, another for meat, fat, etc.)

I will not repeat myself about the pluses. Much has already been said here. Most important:

- you can quit cooking and leave home on business
- everything is quite dietary, which is important for my children
- easy to clean
- porridge without worries in the morning!

Thanks to all the participants for such a wonderful forum!
Mams
Kitten, read the instructions carefully. 1.8 liters is the maximum volume of water in which the multicooker can cook rice. That is, 0.9 kg of rice + 1.8 liters of water - and it will be just at the level of this mark
Polus
I want to return to the topic of choosing a large or small multi. I was just looking for an answer for myself. She put pots of 2, 3 and 5 liters on the table. and looked at them for a long time. And which ones do I use more often?
Family - 2 adults and a child. After much thought, I decided on a little one and I don't regret it. For example, the minimum amount of buckwheat that can be loaded according to the instructions into a small one is 0.5 cups, and into a large one - 2 cups. 0.5 cups is just the amount for two servings, so as not to leave anything. You can, of course, cook it several times, but the porridge tastes better fresh - for this, the timer is set for the morning. In order to be able to navigate, the maximum amount of the same buckwheat, respectively, is 3 and 8 cups.
But a small slow cooker is definitely not for those who plan to frequently engage in baking - it is really small for this. A sponge cake, for example, should be made with a maximum of 3 eggs.
And one more thing: the indicated volume of 2.5 liters is the volume of the entire bowl, and the products can be laid only up to a certain mark, which turns out (I measured it) about 1.8 liters.
Boo Boo
In a large cartoon, I cook porridge from one glass. Enough for 2 adult portions and 1 nursery. Everything is brewed normally.

I ordered a multicooker in the online store on Saturday, finally appeared. True, they brought it to the parents, and we were at the mother-in-law. We arrived home this morning. And I don’t understand something. Model TMN-18, that is, 4.5 liters and it is written on the box .... But the inner pan is somehow small. And the division there is written a maximum of 1.8 L I can't understand something at all ...

Congratulations on your purchase! Great choice! But they have already written about divisions on a multi-saucepan ALREADY, they do not refer to the capacity of the saucepan! Well, even after all, you can conduct a simple experiment - take a liter jar and stupidly measure with it how much will fit in a multi saucepan. If 4.5 liters, then no one deceived you! The marks on the inside of the saucepan refer to cooking rice, I quote: "In order to cook rice in Japanese, we carefully examine the inside of the saucepan. There are marks on it. On the right - from 3 to 10, on the left - from 0.6 to 1.8 liters. they do not have a pot for the capacity. They show the water level for the selected number of cups of rice: for the BREAKER program - on the right, the risks on the left refer to the cooking of brown rice in the PLOV mode. The girls wrote correctly - the devices differ in their functions, but they help a lot to live, you go to the kitchen with pleasure to cook
I also want Master-pilaf, but I haven't met yet, how I will meet, I will definitely buy

Hello. Tell me what this cannot be done in Unit 1000, what can be done in the Multicooker.
This is how I, after all that I read, understood the difference between them: all the same can be done in Unite and in the Multicooker only in Unite everything is prepared much faster. Or am I wrong? You just can't find a Multicooker with fire in the afternoon, but I saw Unit in Auchan at a price of 3200

In a multicooker, you can add ingredients as you cook, but in a pressure cooker, not, if you have forgotten something, you have forgotten. Still, in all honesty, in a slow cooker, baking is still better. Yes, not everything is going smoothly with milk porridge in the pressure cooker, and the mulka copes with it remarkably well on the special program. And so, everything can be done both there and there, but the taste of the dishes will be slightly different, and here it is already for everyone. For example, I like pilaf and porridge from multi, and soup, beans and meat from a pressure cooker. I need both of them and I would not choose between these two saucepans.

So how? Meets?

I ask because I myself am a little disappointed in the Master-pilaf. There, the heating element is not like in multicooker and pressure cookers (with a plate under the entire bottom of the saucepan), but in a circle in one strip and, personally, if there is not enough oil (and ideally there should be, as I understand it, quite a lot), then along this strip everything burns and you need to constantly stir (if there is "frying" or "frying"). Perhaps this is why, on the bowl above the heating element, Teflon swelled and peeled off. And this happened for the third time in cooking. It didn't take long.

What size Panasonic multicooker to buy?
Kitten
Natalka, maybe it's not because of the heating element, but because of the quality of the Teflon. I once bought a Delongey electric grill, and there the plates peeled off just as quickly, and the steak began to burn ... But I bought a high-quality grill pan with a good Teflon coating, and everything is fine. That is, some manufacturers save on quality coating. It's good that there are no such problems in the cartoon with a saucepan!
natalka
Of course, the coating is probably not the best, but after all, the company is not the last, but rather well-known and it would not hurt them to remember that they are losing their prestige in the eyes of buyers.
And the heating element also plays its role, since it is along this strip that everything is baked much stronger than on the rest of the area. You have to interfere very often.
I had the same story with the electric grill. And this happened both for me and my mother. But there, I think, the point is not in Teflon (at least, not only in Teflon), but in the fact that when closed (empty) it is in contact with two plates and whether you want or not want to rub, then you sharply lower it, then you move it, then you put it on the table. In short, mechanical damage, independent of the cooking process, affects, but if a scratch appears, the process will go further easier.

In the store I didn't even think about it, I took the one that was 2.5 liters. I have all the pots of this volume and it is easy to fit such a saucepan on the microwave oven, I have no other place. For the second day, I cook in MV without stopping, dofiga cooked food, I don't know how to eat it, even the porridge is not tiny as in the recipe, but I cooked it from a glass of cereal and boiled nothing, nothing came out. I have 3 people in my family, we usually cook in order to eat in 2-3 days, we no longer cook, we love everything fresh, a 1 kg cake turned out with cream and fruit, where can I cook even more? And so it will stand for 5 days in the refrigerator. Here I think you need to focus on your pots, if your saucepan is not more than 2 liters, then take a small one, if your volume is 3 liters or more, then no question is large.
Cat
Virgo, help!
I transferred the dogs to a natural one, I was already confused to cook porridge in a saucepan. Panas for these purposes is small in volume. Which is better to buy: LL or Multichotter? Layer daily: 3 cups (250 ml) cereals + 6-8 chopped chicken breasts or 900 grams of meat + vegetables. I want to throw it into a saucepan in the evening, and from the morning I feed the animals with yummy.
What do you advise?
Tanyusha
Cat I think the pressure cooker is better, because it is fast and convenient.
