They say stainless steel is great to wash in the dishwasher. But I have no need to buy it. And there is a need to clean the pots periodically. And what I didn’t wash, what products I just didn’t buy. The result always left much to be desired and took a lot of time. This year I even took a day off to do everything thoroughly. One friend advised me to boil the pots in a solution of soap and I still don't remember what. I was very embarrassed by the soap, which, according to my considerations, should have left cloudy stains on my favorite saucepans.
I do not know what “splashed” in my head, but I gave up the soap procedure and took a gel for cleaning the oven (amway), smeared the surface of one pan from the outside. After 30 minutes, washed off with water and was stunned. A new saucepan was in front of me. Naturally, I started cleaning the rest of the pots, and the hoods (I also have it made of stainless steel), did not forget the handles of the pans. An hour later, I looked at all my kitchen utensils with pride, like in a mirror. If someone wants to take my advice, I remind you: in no case should you start this procedure without gloves.

celfh Amway oven cleaner is very toxic and I would not use it to wash the dishes in which I cook food.
LiudmiLka
I really like Sano Multi Metal for cleaning stainless steel, chrome, nickel, copper, bronze, etc. I use it for taps too. This is a very effective remedy. My daughter once left a Turk with water on the stove, for about an hour she stood over high heat. The Turk, of course, is of high quality Gipfelevskaya, but it still suffered a lot. I used this product according to the instructions, maybe I held it for a little longer and cleaned it longer than ordinary dishes, but it remained, as it was before, and no scratches at all - it does not scratch at all. I recommend it for stainless steel.

And from the inside, I wash any dishes with baking soda - I try to only apply chemistry externally.

I used the gel only on the outside, but inside, like LiudmiLka, my soda.

Girls, do we have here distributors of Amveevsky medium for ovens? And then my husband is now rubbing my oven, a beautiful woman and grumbles and is ready to buy me this medium, help if you can. I feel sorry for my husband and always want a shiny oven.
Aunt Besya
For my taste, "Shumanit" is better than Amveev's oven cleaner
lega
Aunt Besya! I prefer to have both. Shumanit is certainly a thermonuclear agent and very effective, but the aerosol is not always good. Sometimes it is better to use Amveevsky remedy if you need to act pointwise. For example, in the oven something ran away and you need to wipe off one stain, then the gel is better. After the aerosol, you will have to wash the entire oven, and even breathe this nasty stuff.
Svetlana2010
when I had an old electric stove, it didn’t wash it off, and Shumanit didn’t help her (I didn’t dirtied her that way), although everyone praised me for it, so I would like to try the Amway or whatever his name is. Now I have a new oven and I try to wash it regularly, but still not every time after cooking, so there is something that needs to be washed, I want my oven to always be like new, that is, not a drop of dirt, and so looking for something like that, I hope there is? or is it just my fantasies? But at the same time, of course, I do not want to just stupidly scrub it for several hours.
celfh
I'm for the oven cleaning gel (Amway). But follow the instructions and wash with gloves. If there are grates on the stove, they are also perfectly washed, up to virgin cleanliness.

tips for cleaning ovens and stoves. It seemed an interesting idea to use ammonia for these purposes. I have not tried it myself yet, I brought you excerpts with advice.
"A FEW TIPS ON CARE FOR ROOMS
1. The enameled surface of the plates is strong, smooth, beautiful, but what it absolutely cannot resist is the action of abrasives (solid fine-grained substances). Namely, the action of the "coolest" cleaning agents is based on abrasives. If you come across the word "abrasive" on the packaging of a cleaning product, know that this is only for hopeless situations.
2. Do not use hard scouring pads, wire or even polymer, to clean stoves and ovens. All of them slowly but surely scratch enamel, stainless steel and other modern coatings.
3. On sale you can find means for cleaning stoves, for cleaning ovens. However, the price of several bottles can be equal to the cost of your entire stove. And in terms of action, these formulations differ little from the dishwashing detergent you probably already have, or from a solution of a simple detergent in warm water. Obtain a bottle of ammonia (at the pharmacy) or aqueous ammonia (at the hardware store) to clean the oven. It is the same. Add to this a soft nylon sponge and disposable paper towels for a final shine.
4. Having treated stains from "run away" food and other dirt with home remedies, do not rush to immediately wipe it all off. It takes some time for the dried marks to begin to dissolve.
5. All removable parts of the stove, such as baking trays, grills, grids and trays of gas hobs, are easier to remove for cleaning and cleaning. If you have a dishwasher and these parts fit in it, put them there by turning on the intensive wash mode. If not, pour hot water into the sink or into a wide bowl, dissolve the detergent or at least soda and let these parts lie down quietly while you wash the stove and oven. In both cases, everything ends with wiping the parts with a soft sponge.
6. Hopelessly, seemingly burnt dark areas of the oven, it is enough to overlay rags soaked in ammonia, close the door and leave overnight. In the morning, it remains to remove the softened dirt and thoroughly rinse everything with detergent.
7. Do not leave the "escaped" liquid on the glass-ceramic hob until it dries or burns. Wipe it off with a sponge or rag as soon as possible, even if the surface is still hot. Remove dried dirt with a special scraper. Do not wash the glass ceramic panel with abrasive detergents. Dry or dirty rags can do a poor job. Any glass cleaner or special ceramic compound is best suited for cleaning glass ceramics. Such solutions leave a thin protective film on the surface that repels fat. Before you start cooking on the glass ceramic hob, it is recommended to wipe it with a damp cloth to remove dust and food debris. "

Hello hostess! I hate it when dots from vegetable oil remain on the pots and especially the kettle (they are steel), I myself make sure that the oil does not splash, but sometimes the homemade ones quickly opened the pan and everything next to it is already in small drips. So they taught me to take an Amway-cleaner-gel for ovens (article 0014) - he also has a brush so as not to touch it with his hands, apply with a brush gently and tie it into a bag, leave it for 15-20 minutes, and then just with a sponge Rinse off with warm water. If it is very heavily contaminated, then repeat again and leave for 30-40 minutes. My friend washed the glass in the oven (the oven was old, it just didn't rub it), there was no big package, so she tore small ones and just stuck it on the smeared gel. Now I only remove all the fat from the pots with this gel - there is nothing to scrape and rub.
pljshik
Hello girls! Today, in the sweat of my brow, I was cleaning the grate on my stove. My stove is "kaiser" and has heavy cast iron grates on top.I rinsed it with hot water and smeared it with Amveevsky gel, which I mentioned above. I wrapped it in a bag and left it. While I was washing the stove itself and then distracted by the phone, about 1 hour passed. When the girls took the bag off the grates, there were flakes on it (that is, the grate was black and soot was not really visible), which were simply washed off with water. She cleaned the stove without much effort.
Elenka
About such a "trick" with a special detergent for ovens and stoves can be done with any... I tried with Milam. result-!
Not expensive and affordable medium for sale in Ukraine.
pljshik
Unfortunately, I have not seen such a tool in Moscow, we use what we have. And since Amveevskoye is concentrated, it needs little.
Elenka
pljshik
You just didn't look closely. The chemical industry works for us and for itself in profit.
We always have at least 3-4 media on sale from different manufacturers.
pljshik
Elenka69, so that the greasy carbon fell off by itself - I did not see such a product of ours, all the time I had to rub and scrape. Enlighten if you know something besides Amway - I will be grateful.
Mila007
We also have "white" brands of cleaning products here, which are not inferior in quality to well-known and expensive brands. Their name won't give you anything, because they are purely Portuguese .. But at a price much lower than the super expensive and famous ones! So why pay more ??
Elenka
I think so too, Mila, you just need to take a closer look at the Wed-you on the shelves in the household chemicals department.
pljshik
Girls, you talk about your opportunities, what you have, we may not have. Or maybe, but of a different quality. For example, I know that washing powder brought from abroad differs sharply from the powder bought in Russia. I even know that we are supplied with a completely different powder than the one behind the cordon (additives are completely different), and it is not profitable for them to drive a good powder here - the price would be completely different.
Elenka
pljshikUnfortunately, we know that.
Of course. if possible. then it is better to use better quality media.
pljshik
This is the whole point. Tired of taking the product declared as super, and then rubbing it in the sweat of your brow and waiting for the effect. So while Amway acts as they say, I will clean them. I know it would be possible to boil in a saucepan with stationery glue, but in such heat it is better to put it in a bag. In addition, I feel sorry for my pens, unfortunately I can’t work with gloves for a long time. Therefore, I try to be fast and efficient.
pljshik
And the girls also heard that there is a very good Japanese remedy, but so far I have not seen it.
Tanyusha
pljshik we also have Japanese chemistry, look in large stores, there are departments of Japanese goods. I have been using only Japanese products for a year now (washing powder, dishwasher gel, etc.).

Mila, you won't believe it, because of the lack of smell. I can't stand all those strawberry, apple, lemon, etc. chemical smells. Here Amway is fine.
pljshik
I agree with Celfh the lack of fragrances is a big plus. My nose cannot stand the disgusting odors of fragrances, it is better without any smell at all, for the amway it is also in the black.
pljshik
And girls, if something burns in the pan, I just pour water, add citric acid, bring it to a boil and leave it to cool. Then I rinse with water. And a long time ago, the seller of washing machines said that there was no need to buy any anti-scale products, it would be better to take a couple of packets of citric acid to fill up and put on a boil - that's it. Once every six months is enough. I do the same with the kettle. No nasty things - cheap and cheerful.
Elenka
pljshik, at the expense of washing machines, this was discussed in Temka about them. I also learned how to descale SM, I learned here.
Although I recently saw a special medium that is not cheap enough to descale the CM. It is interesting that there is no citric acid in its composition. And the medium for teapots of the same company contains a lemon. I wondered .... whether I was doing the right thing and whether my washing machine would say "thank you" to me later.
Svetik_
pljshik this is absolutely true, with citric acid and I clean my machine and kettle, I even saw my ten after 8 years of operation ............... like new .... even the master (who changed bearings) said that you have a machine in perfect condition ................ I gave it to my mother, this year Indesit will be 9 years old, and I bought Bosch a narrow one for my new apartment, me she lives in the bathroom, and the former due to lack of space in the kitchen

Oh, something took me wrong
Elenka
Svetik_, well, then everything is fine!
My kukma burned ten in Bosch SM, the master changed. So she tells me: "I should have seen, Lena, what" snot "from the scale were in my washing machine!" Well, I naturally ask: "What didn't you use Calgon too?" It turns out regularly! These are the protective ones!
By the way, I also have Bosch. Serves for 5 years already ...
Elenka
Svetik_, not everyone knows for sure. I advised my friend a lemon, she asked the SM master, he said that you need to clean only with branded products. She took my advice with disbelief. I, you know, draw information from all over the world and distribute it for free. Do not believe! And no one needs it.
pljshik
Elenka69 You will ask her to read the composition of any SM cleaner. And then, you know, sometimes people will pay only to say - how cool they are that they can afford to buy such funds. Well, it's better we love and groom our SMs and pots, there is enough nasty things around us.

As for me, it is best to clean metal dishes from Lok metal from Amway, it is actually intended for this, after which the dishes shine like new.

And also with household soap plus soda. And it is better not to put a frying pan on the fire, but to make a solution in a saucepan and immerse the pan in it, and boil it.

In the old days of scarcity, I cleaned pots and pans like this: I diluted washing soda and ordinary stationery glue in hot water and soaked the dishes in the solution. In the morning everything was washed off and stains too. At that time, there were mainly aluminum and enameled utensils. For stainless steel, I think it will help too. I don't remember the proportions. Now there is no such problem, since the dishwasher washes everything clean
You can also try spreading it with oven cleaner ...

it is hefty, I don’t have a saucepan for it to fit into it ... and it doesn’t just take soda and soap, this stain has already been tested.

I put the stained dishes in a plastic bowl, detergents there and fill it with hot water. And I put an ultrasonic washing machine in it - for the night. In the morning everything leaves with a cloth and sparkles!

Don't mess with baking soda. Take ANY cold grease remover (alkaline products, the assortment is different in different places), perfectly removes all old grease stains. The main thing is not to hurt your hands, therefore, wear gloves. Well, and, of course, then wash it properly. You can even just boil the water and then pour it out to ensure safety. Nothing will happen to the stainless steel, and the pan will be like new.
In our stores, such funds are called - Shumanit, Giant (Bagi firm). Mister Muscle also has a cold grease remover, but it is a little weaker.
