Lemon cupcake with poppy seeds

Ingredients

Wheat flour 175 g
Sugar 175 g
Rast. oil
(original - olive)
100 ml
Large eggs
(separate the yolks from the whites,
whisk the whites into a foam)
Baking powder 1 tsp
Poppy 25 g
Lemons
(grate the zest on a fine grater, squeeze the juice.
The lemons themselves,
more precisely, what is left of them, throw out)
3 pcs.
For decoration:
Powdered sugar 75 g
Lemon juice 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Grease a cake tin (with a pipe).
  • Sift flour with baking powder, add sugar and poppy seeds, mix. Add vegetable oil, 4 yolks, zest and lemon juice, beat with a mixer for 1 minute. Add whipped egg whites, mix with dough. The dough will turn out to be liquid. Pour the dough into a mold, bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown (no longer worth holding, the sides may burn). Allow to cool. Mix the icing sugar with the lemon juice and sprinkle the cake on top.

Cooking program:

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
