Lean custard biscuits

Ingredients

Wheat flour 500 BC
Water 250 ml.
Vegetable oil 100 ml.
Sugar 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sesame 1 tbsp. l.
Poppy 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Sift the flour, pour it into the kneading bowl.
    Add sugar, salt, sesame and poppy seeds. Mix.
    Bring the water to a boil and pour into the dry mixture. Mix well.
    Pour in oil and knead an elastic dough. It absolutely does not stick to the hands and the bowl.
    Cover the bowl with a towel and leave for 10-15 minutes.
    Then roll the bun into a layer, 3-4 mm thick. (I pre-divide the dough into 4 parts and roll out each part sequentially)
    Cut into individual biscuits (either simply with a knife or scraper, or with a notch)
    Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
    Baking takes place at T = 190-200 * C 15-20 minutes (again, it depends on the oven)
    Before planting in the oven, chop the blanks so that they do not swell.

Note

These are wonderful crunches. Light, crumbly, tasty.
Other seeds and cereals can serve as fillers - this is the taste of the hostess.
