Vanilla ice cream with marshmallow and coconut

Ingredients

Milk (350 ml + 50 ml) 400 ml
Sugar 15 g
Honey 45 g
Salt Pinch
Vanilla
Powdered milk 25 g
Corn starch 10 g
Marshmallow 100 g
Coconut flakes 30 g

Cooking method

  • This ice cream can be called healthy or dietary. Well, or low-calorie.
  • What's so special about him? First, it is almost entirely honey-based. Secondly, it has a pleasant soft texture, and does not harden with a stone. And thirdly, this is its zest - delicate pieces of marshmallow combined with coconut.
  • I use an ice cream maker for cooking.
  • The cooking process itself is not complicated:
  • In a saucepan, mix sugar, honey, vanilla, milk powder, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Pour 350 ml of milk. Put the saucepan on fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • In a separate container, mix the starch and the remaining 50 ml of milk.
  • After our mixture boils, pour out the starch, bring to a boil and let it boil for another 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove the mixture from heat and cool. Put in the refrigerator and let stand for at least 4 hours. (Standing improves taste)
  • We cut the marshmallows into cubes (approximately 2x2 cm, I didn't get it smaller) and sprinkle with coconut so as not to stick together
  • Pour the cooled mixture into the ice cream maker. At the end of cooking, add marshmallows and coconut and let mix.
  • That's it, a wonderful summer dessert is ready!
