Fried potatoes (Princess pizza maker)

Ingredients

Fresh potatoes 3-4 pcs
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Wash and clean potatoes.
  • Cut into neat slices (you can use a food processor).
  • Put the potato slices in a deep-frying basket or in a colander, rinse thoroughly under running cold water. Taking your time to complete the process, the potatoes should be washed very well.
  • Put the potato slices on a towel and dry thoroughly. To achieve the best result, dry again.
  • Put the potatoes in a thin layer in a hot pizza maker (without oil). Stir with a narrow silicone spatula, allowing the water to finally evaporate. Add 0.5 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, using a spatula, stir the potatoes so that the oil is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the pizza maker. Fry the potatoes with the lid open, stirring occasionally. When the potatoes are browned, add a little more oil and spread it again over the entire surface of the pizza maker. Fry until tender with the lid open. The total roasting time is approximately 20 minutes (depending on the type of potato). Salt the potatoes, mix.
  • The potato turns out ruddy, crispy, wedge to wedge.
  • If you want to get even crisper slices, then either increase the frying time (but add salt almost before serving), or increase the amount of oil. For me, the first option is preferable.
  • If you want to speed up the potato cooking process, you can cook it with the lid closed (periodically opening it and stirring the slices). In this case, the potatoes will also be tasty, but not as crispy.
