Cooking method

  • We knead the dough in a HP, a food processor or with our hands until a bun, leave it to rest for 20 minutes, prepare the filling ourselves.
  • Peel the onion, chop it very, very finely or pass it through a meat grinder, mix with minced meat, salt, pepper, knead, gradually adding broth or water.
  • Divide the dough into 10 pieces and roll it out thinly on a table dusty with flour (I still get 3-4 pasties from the scraps). We spread the filling on the half of each circle, form a cheburek, edges so that the juice does not leak out, squeeze it with a plate, cut off the excess dough and then go through it with a fork for beauty.
  • Fry in heated vegetable oil over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.

I ended up with 10, which are pretty big. The dough is pleasant to work with, and I was afraid to add 100 ml to the filling. I added only 70 water the next time I will know that the filling can be made thinner, it will only taste better.
