Stewed cabbage in the microwave

Ingredients

Cabbage
medium tomato 1 PC.
Butter a piece
ketchup or tomato paste 1 st. l.
small onion 1 PC.
sugar
pepper
salt

Cooking method

  • Put in a saucepan for the microwave: butter, finely chopped onion and tomato. Mix everything and put in the microwave for 3 minutes. Close the lid.

  • Chop the cabbage. We salt and mash a little with our hands. Add to the saucepan with the tomato mixture. Pour in 3 tbsp. l. water or broth. Mix and put in the microwave for 6 minutes (power is always 800W) with the lid closed.
  • Turn off. Add a spoonful of ketchup or tomato to the cabbage. Salt, pepper, sugar and mix. We put in the microwave for another 5 minutes.

  • We take out a saucepan with cabbage. Stir, taste. If not enough, add salt, add sugar if sour. And put it in the microwave for another couple of minutes.
