Norwegian herring salad

Ingredients

Lightly salted herring 90 g
Apples 20 g
Chicken egg 1 PC.
Boiled potatoes 40 g
Bulb onions 10 g
Green onion 5 g
Mayonnaise taste

Cooking method

  • Cut herring into fillets into small slices. Cut potatoes, onions, apple (peeled) into cubes. Disassemble the boiled egg into white and yolk. Finely chop the protein and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
  • In the original recipe, it is suggested to mix the yolk with cream, vinegar, mustard and spices and prepare a sauce, like mayonnaise.
  • I just sprinkled the yolk on top, and tucked the salad with ordinary mayonnaise.
  • Finely chop the green onion and sprinkle on the salad.
