Ingredients

Cake:
butter 1/2 cup (125g)
sugar 1 cup
eggs 2 pcs.
lemon juice 3 tbsp. l.
lemon zest 1 tbsp. l.
flour 1 and 1/2 cup
baking powder 1 tsp
salt 1/4 tsp
milk 1/2 cup (120ml)
Glaze:
lemon juice 2st. l.
powdered sugar 3/4 cup

Cooking method

  • I remind you that the unified Euro-American a cup is 240 ml, a tablespoon is 15 ml, a teaspoon is 5 ml,
  • Cupcake from the Nordic Ware website, very simple and thus very solid. It is supposed to cover the top with glaze, but I am already completely normal in sweetness and I don't want anything to stick together))).
  • So, preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Beat the softened butter with sugar until whitening and fluffy. Add eggs, zest and lemon juice. Mix the flour with salt and baking powder and add the flour mixture and milk alternately to the bowl with the oil mixture. Stir everything well, put in a mold coated with vegetable oil and slightly powdered with flour and bake for 40-50 minutes. Readiness is determined with a wooden skewer, which should come out of the dough dry. Rest the cake for 10 minutes in the pan and remove. After cooling, cover with glaze.
  • I greased the mold with universal grease. I didn't like it very much. Stuck in several places.
  • The recipe is not from this form, but by the amount of dough and subject matter - it was directly created for it))).
  • The volume of the mold is 6 cups, i.e. 1.44 liters. The amount of dough is calculated for a form of this volume.

The honeycombs fell out without a hesitation at all, the house was more complex in design - there were "smeared" surfaces, that is, the relief was not quite visible in several places due to the fact that crumbs from the surface stuck here and there. But working with them is a pleasure.In silicone, which in large forms all bends and tilts, it is harder.

It was I who stepped and did not measure the weight when baking. Although I know for sure that white granulated sugar practically coincides in weight and volume. I have a 100ml Ikeevsky measuring spoon in a jar of sugar, so I know that under the knife I put this measuring spoon 100g of sugar plus / minus 5g)). Means sugar 230-240g. according to this recipe. But I didn't measure the flour.
