Larisa can definitely say that potato pancakes directly depend on the variety of potatoes and their starchiness. Therefore, no one will foresee how you will succeed. If you are still sure that you cannot add either hot milk or sour cream, and you have potato pancakes the next day, then add more onion to the dough. This will help a little!
