Nordic warns absolutely everywhere (both on the website, and on cartons for molds, etc.) that conventional cooking sprays, with prolonged use, can damage the non-stick surface of the molds, leaving a layer that is difficult to remove.
Inna, maybe you mean a vegetable oil spray, poured into a spray bottle yourself? With sunflower seeds - I willingly believe that this is happening. And although I myself also try to read the instructions, but on the cardboard to my old Rose this is not written in the Use and Care section (the cardboard from all other forms has long been thrown out), but on the contrary, it is written: to season brush or spray with unsalted vegetable shortening and lightly flour before each baking use. And I myself want to recommend that if someone comes across such a spray - it is the best of many that I have used:

Recently I took out a form that I had not used for a very long time, for many months, and a drop flashed in one of the many deep "folds". Wondered how the water got there? It turned out - what a shame, I washed it badly - a drop of spray, and it is completely thin, light, not at all thickened! All forms of any degree of "complexity" have been working with this spray for more than one year.

dopleta, Larissa! It remains only to find out where such a spray is taken?
dopleta
Masha Ivanova, Elena, that's why I'm writing - grab it if you get it! And I bought this one abroad; By the way, Nordic uniforms were sold in the same store at that time.
Masha Ivanova
dopleta, thank you, Larissa! Has encouraged!

Oh, well, they flooded here about the spray ...

So I'm wondering if Nordic "does not allow" the use of culinary sprays, why then does he produce and sell them himself?

Confectionery spray specially formulated for use on bakeware and other ovenware. No greasy layer remains on the forms. For 4 years the bubble is already the third bottle (now also Kotani), I don't see any traces. Maybe I'm sprinkling wrong? I don't smear anything. I put the form in the sink - twice zilch, everything spreads by itself, be it a rose, a lily or a Bavarian (or any other with a complex or simple relief). Then I put the form in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. It is checked, with this use - even the most complex forms let the baked goods go at once.

The spray was invented for this, so as not to steam with brushes and other things. The balloon is enough for me for 2 years, but I don't bake every day. There is a volume of 500 ml, and for one zilch comes a teaspoon of about.

So don't bother and calmly use whatever is convenient. The main thing is not to rub them with a brush and do not scrub in the dishwasher so that the coating does not peel off.

And further. You have to understand that any non-stick coating is never permanent. 10 years can live and that's good

Happy cupcakes everyone!

Mams, Olga, therefore do not bite They do not allow the "relatives" to use it, otherwise they will pour oil, save money.

Tatyan, well, the composition of these sprays is the same. Therefore, I think it is possible to be non-native. Moreover, when we started running after forms here, the Nordic did not have a spray. And now they have spray available and new coatings have appeared.

I just mean that there are new items, if earlier such forms were considered something horror-horror. How many yummy died in them due to poor lubrication. Now they have covered it with something non-sticky, and you will get - a fashion trend, conveniently, "for centuries".

But the forms are really good. What can I say. It is a pity that they do not bring them to us after 14 years. But I think everything will return to normal. And our girls will buy and have fun again

Good day. Found Nordic Forms on joint purchases. The prices are certainly not small 2.500 somewhere. Suddenly someone will be interested. She herself ordered there: crown, Bovarian, jubilee, heritage, Easter bunnies. I'm waiting for them to come. The organizer of the purchase is located in Moscow time. Purchases on the Russian website beybiblog.

True, I also wanted a lemon pie, but somehow it turns out expensively (more than three thousand). Found such a silicone form in the Carousel. And I could not pass by)) I will try.
Marpl
I bought some silicone lemons, but the cake is spreading in breadth. Metal holds its shape, but silicone does not.

silva2, Elena, what is the recipe for such cupcakes?
Albina here's the recipe
200 gr flour
200 g butter
200 g sugar
, 200 grams of eggs
, 200 grams of cottage cheese
200 grams of raisins
and about 400 grams of flour (sometimes more)
instead of baking powder I put amonium.
THIS TIME WAS WELL VERY Sour Curd. I CONNECTED IT WITH VANILLA AND SODA. Held for about an hour - and everything was prescription, including ammonium
liliya72
silva2, Lena, flour in the 1st and last paragraph, somewhere there is a mistake?

and about 400 grams of flour (sometimes more)
silva2, here, apparently, an error crept in. And another question: will this number of ingredients be enough for a Heart and a large herage?
Masha Ivanova
silva2, Lena! And how much baking powder is put in, how much ammonium?
silva2
Girls, I just copied my own recipe .. Flour, if I put 400 grams of cottage cheese. if there is no cottage cheese, then 200 grams. Ammonium pack (Dr. Otcher) for 400 grams of flour, soda in cottage cheese by eye, but somewhere in 200 grams half a teaspoon. Prescription baking powder 11 grams

And I'm on Ozone. It goes very little, this cylinder is probably for the rest of your life (you need to see the expiration date)

Banana cupcake ...
Anna1957
Girls, help with advice. I bake very rarely now, I have lost the skill. I baked a banana cake in Heritage, but the central part was slightly damaged when it was taken out (it sprayed abundantly, but still). The idea came to somehow "putty"))) What kind of fondant or something like that can be used to keep the beauty and increase?

I got out of the same situation like this - when baking, I insert a silicone mold into a rectangular metal mold, which exactly fit in size, and it does not allow the silicone to creep.
Marpl
Natalia, thanks for the tip. The silicone mold of lemons fits perfectly into the rectangular shape from Fix price (golden color)
