Cooking method

  • I am very afraid to cook condensed milk in a closed jar, and it takes a long time. Therefore, I want to share a recipe for absolutely safe cooking of boiled condensed milk.
  • Take 2 regular breakfast bags. We insert packages one into another (for insurance). Pour condensed milk into the bag.

  • We release excess air from the bag (without fanaticism) and tie it with a thread. Before tying, press on the bag with your hand to make sure that it does not burst under high pressure (though it has never burst before, but it's better to be on the safe side).

  • Pour a glass of water into the multicooker, no matter hot or cold. We put on the fast cooking mode for 30 minutes. You can set it for a longer time if you want to get a completely dark condensed milk. This is what it looks like in 30 minutes.

  • Due to the fact that boiled condensed milk changes its consistency, becomes denser, it falls out of the bag well :-)

Note

For cooking (in any way), you need to choose condensed milk, which contains only milk and sugar. Milk can be standardized, sugar can be sucrose. There should be no other impurities such as preservatives, palm and other oils.

If I cooked in a bag, I would take a baking bag. Ordinary packaging bags (T-shirts) are not designed to be heated and can be toxic at high temperatures.

When I open the cartoon, the package is bloated. Immediately I put it in cold water, it is instantly blown away. If you have time, then it is of course good to cool the meat right in the bag, but usually there is no time. I use brine from tomatoes, or I do this: 1 glass of water (300-350 ml), 1 tbsp. l. sugar, half a tablespoon of salt, a clove of garlic through a garlic press and a couple of tablespoons of vinegar.

Condensed milk was cooked for 4.5 hours! And then, not to a dark color. I could no longer stand it and turned off the cartoon. , as soon as the condensed milk stopped swaying in the jar and began to thicken.
In principle, I'm happy with the result. But, as I understand it, you need to put the condensed milk to cook for 5 hours or overnight, and then leave it on heating until morning. Or, nevertheless, cook in a quick-cook (you will have to try to do it in Kukushka ...).

I cooked a soup in baby 02 on the program for 2 hours and left it in a bowl until the water cooled. No photo yet. The dumplings are still cooling down in the bag. I will only use it at the end of the week.
