Yul, when mine were schoolchildren, I remember baking for them more often, for me in Charlotte there is a lot of sugar (half and half with flour straight))))
So, I baked in the oven, and gradually I somehow got used to adding 2 tablespoons of sour cream to Charlotte (contrary to the recipe)))). A completely different taste began to be obtained, more delicate. The children really liked it.

julia_bb, great biscuit-based charlotte! Bravo, Julia!
It seems to me that you cut, without waiting for complete cooling, so to speak, could not resist - :))) this can be seen in the cut.
You shouldn't add baking powder to this biscuit recipe. You beat the eggs with sugar with high quality until the mass increases and compacted, then you carefully added the flour! This is the guarantee of a tall, beautiful biscuit.
And if our Ritusik-mamysi-ku wants fatter, then she bang-bam adds sour cream and then a baking powder is already required so that all this rises and does not fall during baking
And I will add, maybe it will be useful for someone to know that a biscuit without fat additives, as Julia prepared, is allowed to be served to people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, only the slices must be dried beforehand.
What is the conclusion? biscuits are not only tasty, but also harmless

Light, or put a lot of water, so the grain was torn, starch came out and everything became sticky.
On my rice label it said
Cook in a ratio of 1: 2.5,
Put in boiling water and cook over low heat for 35 minutes.
I did it in a ratio of 1: 1.5, the time was 35 minutes and it turned out exactly that, I also mixed it and held it for heating so that the last drops of water would go away.
The grain is not cracked because there is little water, no starch came out, nothing is sticky.

Corn porridge as in a slow cooker

I took my own recipe from a slow-moving one, with a volume of 2.5 liters, made adjustments in time and got an excellent porridge WITHOUT MIXING THE LARGE.
I washed 200 ml of corn grits, gave them to dig out on a sieve.
I put it in a bowl, added (1: 3.5) 700 ml of water and 0.5 tsp. salt.

The slow cooker prepares such porridge for 3.5 hours at HIGH ((90 ℃ -100 ℃), but it reaches the set temperature in 1 hour, and Phillips in 20-30 minutes.
So I chose the MANUAL mode,
Temperature 90 ℃,
Time 3 hours.

At the end of the program, I made sure that the cereals are evenly cooked from top to bottom, although I have never interfered with it.

mamusi,
To your health, Margarita,
Phillips will definitely be able to replace a small slow cooker, plus it can be put on a delay and set the cooking time.
I've also thought about buying another one more than once.
When you find a way to approach it, it is very flexible with its many modes.

And I am experimenting with winter stew, I want it like from the oven.
But with minimal effort.
So far it has turned out a very long way, but the taste is exactly oven.
First, carrots and potatoes with onions are softened on OMELET 160 ℃, 20 minutes.
Then I added pumpkin and tomato sauce and slowly brewed for 2.5 hours on OMLET, 90 ℃,
Then I started the sauce on OMLET 100 ℃ in 10 minutes.
Tasty, rich, but long.

Multicooker Philips HD3060 / 03 Avance Collection
Next time I will fry the vegetables until golden brown on an Omelet 130 ℃ minutes in 40-45,
And then I will pour the sauce and let it boil for 10 -20 minutes on a 100 ℃ omelet, so that the prepared, soft vegetables are soaked in tomato with seasonings.
sveta-Lana
I really liked the film's pastries,
the funniest thing is that I bought a slow cooker for cereals, I was not going to bake anything in it, I thought that this was for the oven, and then I tried it, it turned out the first time and I liked it so much and the taste and most importantly the size is not big, for me what I need

And I did this in Toshiba, and I want to try it in Fillet ... just chill out a little longer ...
And the Omelet program itself will make a golden crust from below ...
brendabaker
sveta-Lana,
Light, what I can do in Redmond, I have no doubt that there are ready-made programs FRYING, or BAKING
AND SOUP / STEWING.

I was interested, while there is time and urge to see how Philips' programs work.

The MANUAL mode, 90 ℃ gives a barely visible boil, in my opinion it is closer to the slow-cooking HIGH.
But OMLET, 90 ℃ in its pure form, slow-cooked LOW, there is nothing on the boulevard, but the process goes on, but for a very long time.
I wanted to cook like in a slow cooker, so I don't consider porridge, there will be boiled vegetables in a tomato.
