Julia! Or maybe she had to go to the steamers? She's bigger than a double boiler. I sit and invent what can be cooked in all pots at once. I'm happy with semolina porridge. Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90) Not burnt! But before pouring the milk, she poured 5 mm of water into the bottom of the pan and boiled it. Then milk. It took about 5 minutes to boil water and milk 0.6. And then, at the beginning I set the temperature to 70. Then I changed it to 175. The heating is very fast. I was glad that mixing can be done by covering the pan with a lid. All instructions and a book with recipes in foreign languages. Recipes in French and German only.

And it reminds me more of an advanced aktifray, with additional features - a double boiler and a vegetable cutter, which are not present in all models

QUESTION ANSWER
Question
Some foods are not ready. What to do?
Answer
Some foods in the saucepan, bowl or steaming tray are larger and / or require a longer cooking time. Set a longer cooking time. By using bowls and trays at the same time, you can easily cook foods with different steaming times.
Too much food is loaded in the steaming bowls and the steaming tray. Make sure the food in the bowls and the steaming tray is not too close together and that some of the steam holes, which allow for optimal steam circulation, are not blocked. See the cookbook for the recommended amount of food.
During steam cooking, the lid was not covered (or the lid was not positioned correctly). Always cover the appliance with the lid when steaming, otherwise most of the steam will evaporate and the ingredients will not cook properly.
The temperature is not high enough. Allow the appliance to reach the specified temperature before steam cooking.
Question
The stirring pad has stopped rotating. What to do?
Answer
There is too much food in the pot. Remove the ingredients and turn the stirring pad slightly. Don't overload the pot.
A piece of meat stuck to the bottom of the pan during frying. Press lightly on the stirring pad.
Question
The display shows ° C, I want to switch to ° F mode. What to do?
Answer
Press and hold the heating temperature increase and decrease buttons at the same time for 3 seconds, the appliance will switch to ° C or ° F mode.
lana19
Question
The appliance emits smoke. What to do?
Answer
The hot plate and / or saucepan is dirty. Clean the pan and heating plate thoroughly after each use.
Some smoke may be emitted when the appliance is turned on for the first time. When a new appliance is first used, it may give off an unpleasant odor or
some smoke. This is caused by the heating of the motor windings, which are coated with a special varnish. This is not a malfunction, after a while
smoke and odor production will stop.
Question
Food is fried too hard. What to do?
Answer
The temperature is too high or the cooking time is too long. Choose a lower cooking temperature and / or a shorter cooking time. Please refer to the cookbook to select the appropriate temperature.

What's the easiest way to chop an onion? (Video)
Answer
A slicing disc is best suited for this.
Pre-cut the onions as shown in the video below: first cut the onions in half, then cut each half in half.
Turn on speed 1 on the appliance and place the bow in the feeding chamber. Push the bow into the feed chamber using the pusher, but do not push too hard.

Does it work without a stirrer, or is the stirring constant and the stirrer itself is not removable?
lana19
The stirrer is removable. The saucepan works with and without a stirrer. The agitator switches off and on. Stirring can be done without heating. Those - cooking is over and you can leave the product in the saucepan - and the mixer will work. Stirring is very smooth, not fast
janka
and I have it ... - this saucepan. I made risotto according to the recipe from the book, Classic pan-cooked breakfast - also from the book, I even fried popcorn. And the potatoes are generally super, this will not work in a frying pan, it is so evenly fried from all sides .... mmmm
lana19
And you were silent?
lana19
jankaHave you cooked something in several saucepans at once?
janka
... I bought it just before Russell, so I switched right to him. only had time to test a little. but now we will run it in full
janka
I made only risotto below and above in a double boiler steamed salmon (salted fish, sprinkled with lemon)
julifera
Yana, well, partisan!
How could Russell outshine Oliver? Is it more interesting?
janka
but I think that here the flight of fantasies is not limited ... we take the recipe - it comes from multi, the same thing, but you don't need to interfere,
janka
nope, of course, but Russell was newer, it was necessary to play with him too
janka
in general, as for me, a very convenient saucepan ... everything fell asleep, turned on the stirrer and a minimum of attention ...
on the u-tube, by the way, there are a lot of videos on it, and there are also many recipes ...
lana19
Russell is great too! I have no soup cooker yet. I cook everything in a jar in a pressure cooker and then I blender and try to convince myself that I don't need a soup cooker. Not working yet. I really like Russell!
janka
I'm generally a technological maniac, my husband will surely drive me out of the house soon. I have not yet had time to play enough with all this, so I already ordered a pressure cooker and a VES smokehouse (sorry, not on the topic).
ElenaMart
Yana, can you in a personal, where did you buy?
janka
min. I'll find it right now ... I see everyone here will soon be kicked out
ElenaMart
I'm already on my suitcases
janka
yeah, my husband told me that even a little bit, and he won't need me, he can press the buttons and he can press ... but that's it, he just relaxed that they were without us ...

And I didn’t know there was one. I did not find it in Ukraine. All smokehouses in Russia. Yanochka! Where did you order it? My friend wants a pressure cooker smokehouse
janka
yeah, I saw her just yesterday too. We didn’t have them before, they appeared this year. In general, I want a smokehouse for a very long time, but I have been waiting for them in Ukraine, and now I have. I'll throw in a personal address of the store.

janka
And also, I want to say about the vegetable cutter: it is higher than those that we sell, so you can cut directly into a cartoon or a pressure cooker, and it has two speeds, instead of one, which is in the usual one.

Babushka
Virgo, how interesting everything is! In the spring, after watching a bunch of videos with this saucepan, I was not impressed. And now, reading personal reviews, I wondered. Maybe I should? Seductresses ...
lana19
There are really a lot of recipes. You can even bake in a double boiler!
The saucepan had a potential buyer. He thought for a long time, watched the video - then he called me back and said. What's the point - if you can only cook broccoli?
I just think that in it and sous-vide can be made from chicken fillets. It will be necessary to measure the temperature, how she holds it

I just sat thinking about it
And in one of the reviews I read today that when it was set at 70 ° C, the temperature in the bowl was kept at 62 ° C
Actually, this is what suvid highly recommends for meat - no higher than 65 ° С

I can't wait, I can hardly stand it, will come only tomorrow and pick it up only in the evening, I am exhausted

I plan to start with this risotto recipe - apparently everyone is too lazy to cook it according to the rules, because no one has unsubscribed in Temka, and I myself am lazy, and now home cooker Jamie will work instead of me !!!

Risotto with spicy chicken and parmesan

And today I made candied fruits in it from orange-lemon skins that remained from the lemon curd and orange marmalade. I just fell asleep

and this is at the end
Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90)
it turned out very tasty, the child ate like candy. And it took a minimum of attention, at that time I was still making soup (in a soup cooker) and fried the patches, and it was cooking for myself, stirring. And by stirring, the icing is evenly distributed on the candied fruits. In general - a cool thing !!!
janka
julifera, I really want to get it as soon as possible, uh, then the recipes will sprinkle

Girls, and I cooked dumplings with potatoes. Out of habit, I put a pot of water on the stove, when the water boiled, and then I remembered about a new toy! I poured boiling water directly into a smart saucepan. I installed a double boiler, slightly greased it with sunflower oil. Together with the dumplings, I put a piece of semi-boiled chicken (sometimes the husband can boil meat in 2-3 waters). I set the temperature to 175 for 15 minutes. Steamed dumplings are delicious! I do not know if it is possible to cook on two tiers at once, or rather, it is possible - probably the cooking time will be different. But one saucepan was enough for my husband and I for two. I wanted to boil eggs at the same time - but the steamer saucepan did not rise normally. Oliver hadn't thought about the size! I drained the water, wiped the saucepan, cut the onion straight into it (planer) And fried it. I put the dumplings there and mixed with the onions. Conveniently!
Now - why did I need boiled chicken and eggs! Boiled chicken, boiled egg, fried onions, cheese, mayonnaise (I had a homemade one), salt, pepper to taste, ground with a universal grinder. It turned out to be a pate.
Now I'm going to try some steamed baked goods. If it works out, I'll draw up a recipe. Found that I have mugs that fit perfectly into a steamer with the lid closed. I will try several baking options in them. I'm thinking, what temperature should I put? Probably the same 175. 250 is somehow scary. This is the turbo temperature. Maybe you can't put it on for a long time. Yana! What do you think?
lana19
I looked - in the recipes for steam there is a temperature of 130. I'll try baking on it. 175-250 is for frying.
janka
I turned on 250 when I wanted the water to boil quickly, and so, yes, I think just for frying. By the way, I also made dumplings in a saucepan, just not for a couple, but in such a thing that you need to lower in water, such as a sieve, it turned out great, and you don't need to drain the water, I chose a sieve and that's it.

Girls - do you have to wear a stirrer all the time? Even when you don't need it when boiling water quickly?
Why am I asking - I'm worried that it doesn't wear out once again when interacting with a very high temperature, it's still plastic ...

Quote: janka
but in such a thing that must be dipped into the water, such as a sieve
Oh, I called her right away - a sieve for macaros

I had a story - I cooked noodles and happily put Teskomovsky's newly bought semicircle with holes for draining on top of the saucepan - a bunch of noodles was in the sink
Usually I calculate this kind of inconsistency in advance, but then I relaxed
I hope Jamie Oliver has thought about the size of the holes and medium-thin noodles can be cooked in his piece
lana19
julifera, Julia! I have the same question about the mixer. The plastic on it is very durable. The lid is made for it. If you cover a cooking dish with a lid without a stirrer, I think that condensation will fall on the heated surface. The saucepan is put on the pin and there are cracks, and the stirrer closes them.
Made baked goods today. Found recipes in the net for a steamer. My husband and I liked the pastries. She's not wet inside! I'll lay out the recipe one of these days. Now I did it based on my mugs (I baked in them) Brown muffins are on a fried carob. Delicious! The original must contain cocoa. Inside cottage cheese with coconut and cottage cheese with banana. Light cupcake - nuts (small crumbs) in the original nuts, grated to a paste. (At this point I especially wanted a soup cooker!) + Grated raspberries, a spoonful of flour and an egg.Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90) Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90) And separately on a plate, gingerbread cookies on honey with nuts Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90) So interesting - the dough was white, and the steam turned it light brown. I put everything together. The top tier was gingerbread. Yet they lacked the temperature. An hour later, I took out the cupcakes in a mug, rearranged the gingerbread on the bottom and added 15 minutes. They are somewhat reminiscent of honey cake cakes. Gingerbread dough was made in a mixer at 70 degrees and then at 90. In the original, it is made in a water bath. Nothing burnt! In the photo, the bottom of the saucepan after the test.Jamie Oliver Multicooker - Jamie Oliver HomeCooker (Philips HR1050 / 90)According to the recipe, cupcakes are decorated, I didn't do anything!
