Moulinex Stationary Blender Soup Cooker

Moulinex Soup & Co stationary blender-soup maker

In fact, the manufacturer positions this device as a soup cooker - a gadget for making soups. Both cream soups and cream soups, and "usual" (pickle, borsch, cabbage soup, etc.). However, in essence Moulinex Soup & Co - stationary blender. It's just that the ability to heat the contents of the jug was added to the main "blender" function - here's a soup cooker for you. managed to test this device. Note that cream soups and cream soups are really great in a soup cooker and, most importantly, easily and quickly. I just loaded a 1.8 liter metal (stainless steel) jug with all the ingredients, turned on the soup cooker (there are two automatic programs - for making soups of different consistency) - and in half an hour the hot soup is ready. In addition, the appliance will keep it hot for 40 minutes. True, it is not very convenient to cook traditional soups (not cream or puree) in a soup cooker, in our opinion. To prepare them, part of the food is put into a jug, the other part into a special basket inserted into it. Then all the contents need to be transferred into one pan, and the basket is hot (there is a special handle for carrying the basket, but it is also hot) - not everyone will want to cook in this way. You can use the appliance as a double boiler - just pouring a certain amount of water into the jug and placing the food in the removable basket. Naturally, Moulinex Soup & Co can be easily used as an ordinary stationary blender without activating the heating function - for preparing cold soups, desserts, cocktails and other dishes. He has a smooth adjustment of the speed of rotation of the knives, there is a Pulse mode.

Moulinex Soup & Co stationary blender-soup maker

The control of the Moulinex Soup & Co Soup Blender is completely electronic. The rotary regulator is responsible for the intensity of rotation of the knives. Soup settings are made using buttons located next to the display. There are two automatic modes for making soups (with heating) and one for automatic cleaning of the jug. There is also an ice crushing mode - activated by a separate button. The display shows information about the settings made by the user, about the time remaining until the end of cooking, about the temperature mode (temperature settings are also available to the user). In general, in this sense, everything is in the spirit of the times. Safe operation is also fine - the device will not turn on if the jug lid is not closed, if the jug itself is removed or not installed correctly. The Moulinex Soup & Co blender-soup cooker is also not bad in terms of design. The metal jug is complemented by the metal part of the motor-heating unit, which houses the control panel. All metal elements are compatible with white and transparent plastic elements. The cost is about 11 thousand rubles. At first glance, a little expensive, but remember that these are two, even three (if you don't forget about steaming) devices in one.

Gazpacho (one of the options)

Ingredients:
850 g of tomatoes with juice (from a can);
1/2 red bell pepper;
1/2 green bell pepper;
1/2 cucumber;
2 small young onions (can be replaced with a hole, green onions);
1-2 cloves of garlic;
2 slices of bread pulp;
4 teaspoons of olive oil (Extra virgin);
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar;
salt, pepper - to taste.

Preparation
Peel the cucumbers, finely chop them and the pepper (for example).Cut the onion into 4 pieces or into rings (if leek, green onions). Peel the garlic. Place all ingredients in a blender jar (or in a suitable container if the blender is submersible). Blend for 30 seconds at medium power. Then 2 minutes at maximum power. You can serve the soup immediately (by chilling it by adding ice cubes) or after a few hours, letting the soup steep in the refrigerator. Garlic bread can be served with gazpacho.

I'm ready to live in this thread ... I really want this soup cooker. But we don't sell. Found in Vienna for 196 euros. I'm waiting for my vacation
Lenny
So, it would be cool if they would add a kneading attachment to the knives, like in a bread maker, to make sauces and custard. Maybe there are such units, no one has met?

Lenny,
Kitchen machine Kenwood 80 series.
Does everything your heart desires
A blender is a soup cooker - for its own purposes and tasks. It is good because it is relatively small and can always be at hand
Lenny
Even before 70 Kenwood appeared with us, I got 013 with all possible and impossible attachments, so I don't need it anymore. And I would take a separate toy.

It has been on sale for a long time, just not advertised)

Lenny, I also have Ken - episode 10 - and so I took a toy for myself
For milk from nuts, drinks, fruit drinks, compotes, soups, purees and sauces.
And full-fledged soups are for MF (I have several of them)
Mix, whip - to Kesha

And Mulina the soup cooker is good of course
That's interesting - how it is in reality.
Magician
I agree that it is fulfilling its task. In my opinion, it performs well. I have it on the stove, the mashed soups are delicious. Fast compotes too. The second program does not grind until the end and the soups are of such an interesting consistency based on puree in which there are very small pieces of vegetables.
Babushka
Magician, Thank you!

Moulinex Soup & Co stationary blender-soup maker} This is how the bowl at the Mulinex soup cooker looks like, I made a photo for those who were interested. On one side the bottom is beveled at an angle
And how does it beat without heating? Like horseradish dressing? Does milk porridge turn out? Does it burn?
Magician
I have not tried to cook milk porridge there. I'll get home tonight, I'll definitely try. There was also no need to whip without heating, my husband has such a shaker with a metal glass for milkshakes. If I also need to conduct an experiment, tell me what to beat. what is horseradish dressing?
Babushka
Magician, I will be very grateful if you try to make semolina porridge. I really hope that it doesn’t fry. Horseradish sauce is a mixture of fresh horseradish, tomato, bell pepper and herbs. Or just grind fresh horseradish? Will it be small?
Magician
there is no horseradish, I can not try to do it, I will look for what is similar in consistency. Of course I will make the semolina, I planned it, because the rest of the porridge turns out that they will grind at the end of the programs.
Babushka
Magician, the rest of the porridge I make in a slow cooker ... But the semolina must be interfered. I think it should work in a soup cooker. If only it does not get fried! Can the manual program be set with slow stirring and a temperature of 95 degrees?
Magician
we'll find out in the evening

I report: I will insert one photo at a time, I apologize. So, there was no horseradish, so I decided to make a replacement, I took a celery root

Experiment two:
She put semolina porridge, greased the bottom bevel with butter. Porridge recipe from Redmond's book: 480 ml of milk (I have 0.5%) and 40 grams of semolina plus one and a half tablespoons of sugar. I switched on the first program, the standard time is 25 minutes, set 15, propilikalo, opened it, tried it, it was not cooked yet. I put it on the same amount, so I'm sitting waiting
Magician
Time ran out, but for another 8 minutes it was heated somewhere. The result is that it burned out. Either it will be like this all the time, or it's my fault. I put the semolina and did not turn on the stirring, but I think it will burn after that. The porridge itself is not porridge, but a semolina soup, an absolutely homogenized product came out for me. Delicious, but not porridge

Babushka
Magician, thank you very much for the experiments! And at what temperature did you make semolina? From all the experiments of the girls, I realized that you need to set the temperature to 95 degrees and set the program with constant stirring!
Still, I want Moulinex more than any other model ...

I think that's why it got burnt.

the temperature was 100 degrees and there was no program to interfere and heat constantly. Oh no, I'm lying! There is a cleaning program, it takes one minute, heats up and interferes continuously. and does it by the way very loudly, suddenly someone is important to the volume. On the first two, it warms and interferes only at the end.
Babushka times you want: girl-yes: tsya, you need to take all the more so long
it is not as multifunctional as proficouk, again, maybe this is not enough for my imagination, but I really don’t need it, I took it for soups, sauces and compotes and I get it all. it was important for me not to bother at all, turned it on and went, she does everything.

I don't know, maybe because of the structure it really burns. I then tried to cook and mix a second time and did not grease the surface with oil, all the same, the result is the same - it burned. Are there any long knives in the Thermomix? I'll go read
Babushka
Magician, and the knives are removed? Can you moderate the height of the knives? Thank you!

By the way, why such a question arose with semolina? It is cooked on the stove for three minutes.

If you cook semolina on the stove for three minutes, then you are eating it raw, and this is very harmful when semolina is cooked in the stomach until cooked.
This doesn't happen in a blender.

Tatyana, Yes, I am not reproaching you. And my children have already grown up. In my family, only I love porridge. And with the advent of Redik 01, I now have such a variety of cereals. And I rarely cook semolina, out of habit on the stove (I can't be altered anymore)

Ira, why be afraid of me? I am like that akyn that I read, that I know that I cook, then I show and tell
For me, the principle "not how to cook - but why to cook exactly like that" is important, everything should be explained.

They say that in a dietary soup (stew, etc.) you just need to put raw vegetables, like low-calorie. And why exactly raw, what does it give, and what will be the effect of such a soup? But, if you understand the intricacies, it turns out that raw onions and especially carrots will not have any benefit in the soup for the body, since carotene from carrots is released only when combined with oil. And in its raw form, it is better to grind carrots just like that, it will be more useful.
Therefore, onions, carrots, sweet peppers, tomatoes are best sautéed in a drop of oil, just 1 tsp is enough. in a frying pan, and it is better to mix the vegetable and butter together. A drop of oil will not make the weather, it will not be deposited on the sides, but it will give vitamins and a greater return to the broth, which will be much more useful for the body. It is better not to eat the candy, but it is necessary to saute the vegetables - so the compensation for the calorie content will work out. Read about the usefulness of sautéing here Roasting (sautéing) vegetables - why do this?
And then, which dietary soup will look more attractive, prettier, and tastier? - I assure you - soup with browned vegetables, albeit without meat

My older generation does not recognize simple soups, the old school, we would be fatter and thicker, with meat, and necessarily more bread - "so it was accepted, how can you dine without bread?", And we still observe these rules So I cook often soups and meat, but I try to follow the principles of cooking
And I would have something easier ...

I always cook porridge according to Pokhlebkin. Here is what he writes:
Bring the milk to a boil and at this moment add semolina with a sieve (not a handful, but a sieve to scatter it) and continue cook for only one to two minutes, stirring vigorously all the time, and then close the pot where the porridge was cooked with a tight lid, and let stand for 10-15 minutes until it is completely swollen... After that, you can season it with oil and whatever, make both a sweetened and an "onion" version.
All.
TanyaG
I haven’t tried to cook milk porridge in my soup cooker, I don’t know or will I eat it rarely, but in the recipes on the German website of the Mulinex soup cooker it is suggested to cook semolina in manual mode, set the temperature to 90 degrees and the rotation speed to two, cook for 10 minutes, I give a link to the recipe, but there with sugar, butter and lemon skin (at first, all this except semolina is also prepared at 90 degrees for a deuce for 5 minutes, then semolina is added and another 10 minutes for a deuce)
🔗

in principle, it is logical, in automatic modes, mixing is not constant, and the porridge needs to be stirred all the time during cooking, then most likely it will not burn

probably it is also important there that semolina is put in already warmed milk, about the crust, so some lemon peel is also rubbed into milk custard, I will now translate the whole recipe, you can try without lemon peel

500 ml milk, 1 tbsp. l sugar, a pinch of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of grated lemon zest, 1 tsp. oil, 70 gr. decoys

Pour milk, sugar, salt, grated lemon zest and butter into the soup cooker, close the lid of the soup cooker. Select manual mode, timer for 5 min., Temperature 90 g., Stirring to position 2, press the OK button.

After the signal about the end of cooking, add semolina, again manual mode, 90 degrees, stirring at 2 positions, timer for 10 minutes, press the OK button.

Put the porridge in a salad bowl rinsed with cold water or in 4 glass bowls for dessert. Refrigerate.

Tip: Serve with fruit puree.
TanyaG
The soup cooker can be used in manual mode, if you do not have instructions in Russian, then I will write briefly as

1. Time is set using the + and - keys
2. Ok button to confirm the time
3. The temperature display is flashing, which can be changed with the + and - keys.
4. Ok button. The red indicator light comes on to indicate the start of the brewing process.
5. If necessary, the rotation speed can be adjusted during operation, from minimum 1 to high speeds. (Please note that stirring is turned on exactly after the start of cooking - this is important! Otherwise, another mode will turn on).
6. After the set cooking time has ended, 3 signals are sent, which signal the end of cooking.
7. After the end of cooking, the soup cooker automatically switches to the 40-minute heating mode.
