I have a hob like this:
Choosing a gas stove

Everything is fine, only the handles get warm when I cook on the nearest comforts.
torturesru
On the "City of Masters" they wrote that this is a problem with the Electrolux cooking boilers - they moved the handles too close and a stream of hot air directly from the bottom of the nearby pots goes to them.
kava
I also have an Electrolux EHG 671 X. but the handles are on the side and nothing heats up

Choosing a gas stove
Gypsy
even if they are made from the side, they will still heat up - close to the burners once, and the cast-iron grates are close to the handles, that is, the thermal conductivity is a piece of iron.
Nataly_rz
It's strange, I also have a handle nearby, and cast-iron combs, but I didn't notice such problems ... Maybe they make handles from a different material
Choosing a gas stove
Gypsy
on this handles directly rest against cast iron and fire close to the handles
Choosing a gas stove
Sonadora
The handles do not rest against the cast iron, but are very close.
On the other hand, I rarely cook on the nearest comforts. I'm more accustomed and more comfortable on the far ones. At first the child was small, I didn't cook at the "edge", now the cat flies in from time to time if he smells something tasty.
So for me the problem of heating the handles exists, but it is not fundamental.

hi people - help who can - 2 points = tortured = completely:
1. argued with my husband which oven to choose a gas stove - I am for an electric oven - the husband claims - that the payment for electricity will be expensive - not now - so tomorrow and then the husband claims that more = naturally = cooked blueberries - only in a gas oven - at who is the practice- = comparative analysis =?
2. recently saw the Turkish plate - = simfer =
- somebody has experience of operation - please share. what reviews. how often do we hear - all "Brands" are still made in "third" countries - can we take a chance and take? thanks to all!
torturesru
With an electric oven, there are two points - positive - maintaining even heating throughout the entire oven, precise temperature control, more bells and whistles compared to gas - the same turbo ovens, turbo grills, although this happens in sophisticated gas, well, it is considered less of any rubbish in the air of an apartment from combustion products. Minus - yes, electricity will cost more, however, in the near future, gas meters will be installed, and then the costs will be comparable. Another disadvantage is whether your wiring will pull another consumer, say, by 2-3 kW. More precisely, its turn-on current? True, this is easily solved by pulling a normal wire from the shield. It just needs to be decided before buying a stove. I have an electric oven, I will not say that I began to pay much more for electricity.
With regard to assembly in "third" countries, yes, almost all brands, except, perhaps, the super-elite, are assembled in developing countries - labor and space are cheaper, assembly is mostly automated anyway, control is equally tough. Moreover, the Chinese assembly, in view of the not yet impudent working class, is of higher quality than the European one. The only exception is the Russian assembly, here the products go only to the domestic market and the assembly quality is inferior to analogues. In addition, the same American or Swedish brand, even in the countries of the headquarters of firms, is most often collected by the same Turks and Chinese, and not "Aryans"

Without any doubt, the electric oven bakes better, and is generally more functional and more convenient.

Shl. But, unfortunately, this is not about me: the private sector, the voltage in winter sags to 130V, - here about a serious electrical load and do not stutter. Therefore, next week I will take a completely gas stove, Gorenje GI 62378 BW. I couldn't find anything better ...

Maybe someone will be able to orientate, I want to buy a built-in oven GORENJE BO 75 SYW and a surface GORENJE G 6 SYW, what are the possible disadvantages in these models? According to the descriptions on the sites and rare reviews, the oven seems to be very good, and the hob, as for me, has a convenient cast-iron grate, there is also gas control.
In the process of careful scrutiny, I wondered if fat and dirt would clog around the burners, and around those pimples that provide gas control, I don’t know what to call them. And how convenient is this arrangement of the handles?
And in the oven, it is a purely practical question whether it will be visible through the glass what is going on inside, because the oven is white and the middle of the glass is in a small white dot .... Or am I bothering about it in vain?

Pliz, who at least somehow understands these issues, help me) You need to solve everything quickly, literally in 2 days, if I take on a share on credit.

Of course it will be! At first I scrubbed hard-to-reach places at my stove with a toothbrush, now I don't bother. All the same, the process of bringing a modern hob to an ideal state is much easier and more pleasant than in the days of our mothers.
And how convenient is this arrangement of the handles?
The normal arrangement of the handles, the only drawback is that you should not use dishes with a wide bottom and high heat on the near burners. The handles can become very hot and melt.
And in the oven, it is a purely practical question whether it will be visible through the glass what is going on inside, because the oven is white and the middle of the glass is in a small white dot .... Or am I bothering about this in vain?
There is a backlight, everything is fine wine and through the dots. In microwave ovens, there is generally a metal mesh in the door - it does not interfere with controlling the process.

a beautiful and solid stove, I just didn’t like the knobs-twists, it’s not convenient to grab them and look where that points. It seems to me that twists with a * stick-holder * are more convenient and clear. Something like that:

Thanks for the answers, the appearance of the oven and the surface really looks beautiful, everything is so white) but yesterday I finally finished reading that there is no timer in the oven, which made me very upset, now I'm starting to think I might not take this loan, but watch something other. We have a lot of "pyramid" equipment in and-no stores, it is cheap and the set of functions is decent, they say the German one, I found that their trademark, but produced in China. Although China itself does not scare me very much, there are very few reviews, but at least I am glad that I have not yet met negative ones. But there everything is stainless steel and I have not yet felt what kind of quality, whether the fingers will be strongly visible. I will try to look for these in real life.
Maybe there are knowledgeable people on the forum in this matter?
Gypsy
and I tuned in to the burning oven, although they are sold under a different name. Both you and us have good reviews, maybe look at this company, but a different model? Still, the oven is such a delicate matter, the quality of baking is needed there, and this is not good in everyone. I looked after such a model for myself, it has a timer. I went and looked, it says there is a timer.

The oven is electric independent. Oven volume 60 l. Energy consumption class A. Dimensions (HxWxD) 59.5 x 59.7 x 56.5 cm. Rotary switches, timer, digital display, telescopic guides, additional information "Aqua Clean" enamel, multifunctional, grill, convection. The oven door is hinged, the number of glass doors is three, chamber illumination, cooling fan, safety shutdown, electronic clock, white.

And you download the instruction on the Internet, then you will know for sure.

Today I specially went to the store to feel everything and ask about the timer, those numbers are the temperature, but there is no timer, like the modes are set there and turn off at the end, so the timer is nafik)))

And I looked at the pyramids, I really liked them, they are cheap and beautiful, sorry there are no whites.
I read a couple of reviews praising them) So I'm thinking of taking a chance.
What do you say, cast-iron grates, handles are conveniently located in my opinion, I am interested in your opinion about the burners, isn't the rear ones too close to the edge? And here's another surface, which is better?

And on the oven in my friend's topic crawl? Or is Mona all in a bunch?
Gypsy
oven is better in another.

I will write on my own, since I have not bought it myself, although I have already looked after it.
The second is better, you know what? Pay attention to the smallest comfort and the grate hanging over it. On the second plate, the grill slides into the comfort itself, and on the first it is very far from it. It may turn out that you cannot reliably hoist a Turk or some thread of a small container on a cast-iron grate, the one that does not reach the fire itself much.
And both pens are not for my taste, I love pens with chopsticks

Rectifier? Probably you meant the stabilizer ...

Simple arithmetic will show that the cost of such a stabilizer, which would pull the stove from 130 - 150 Volts, will exceed the cost of the stove itself.

OFFSET. Thank God, we at one time took a boiler that works without electricity, that is, with a thermocouple, and how glad we are that then we made such a decision ...

Gypsy, I think the first one is the most convenient. The cruciform lattices seem to me not very comfortable (I'm talking about the second one). And third, I like it the most by design, BUT its burners are very close to the lower grate. When you put the pan, it will hang almost over the switches and those will heat up accordingly. In general, I do not like it when pots are standing like that, all the time it seems that they are not very stable.
Gypsy

Gypsy And what is their width?
1 and 3 - 70 cm
2 - 60 cm

The second thing I like is that washing is kind of easy
I liked the third one and the low price and the fact that the grilles cross over the comfort, although the husband said that this is a drawback .. heat loss and the entire cast-iron grill will heat up more, maybe even the twists will heat up
Well, the first one seems to be nothing too, but 250 tugriks more expensive.

Berry, thanks for the answer
She seems to have a bunch of switches in the middle, in the middle the burner is far away. But if the grates get hot, then the switches may well get hot. There is only one way out, do not put the pan on close comforts, in general, this is real, since children are at home

Interestingly, almost everyone does not like the second? I don't like her outwardly, but the thought sits in me that fuss with washing at least, so I don't throw it off
-----------
looked at the third one again, presented the overhanging pan .. now I like it less
Boo Boo
The third is definitely not, the lower burners are too low. Most likely the first, the second I like less. I don't see the difference between washing the first and the second. Do you have a dishwasher?
Gypsy
There is no dishwasher, but it will be required. As I understand it, the pieces of iron can be washed in the dishwasher, but I'm such a muddler, I have pasta running away every day .. that is, the broth on the stove, the dishwasher won't help here.

Boo Boo, thanks for the opinion
There are no reviews for the third plate, I wonder what people would write how it is in operation. But there is an excellent review for a 4-comfort analogue, they write that there are no downsides, and he, too, with hanging pans:
Choosing a gas stove

there is also such a variant of the third plate (there is only one firm) at the same price, here the twists were divided on the sides:

Gypsy The surface is approximately the same for all, so the wash will be approximately the same. My grates in the dishwasher.
The same, but not so, there is only one small burner nearby, and this is not so scary. The last option is hard to see.
Gypsy
The latter is almost the same as the third from my first post, just a side view. And her grilles are not cross, and it seems to me that the twists are less well located, very close to the small comforts. And the price is the same

Gypsy, if she is the same as the third, then I no longer like it. Poorly visible in the picture. If I'm not mistaken, are there cast iron grates?
Gypsy
Yes, everything is made of stainless steel and everything is with cast iron, all have twists with chopsticks .. I wanted this one, I dug everything I could at an unclouded price. What angered me was that similar two-burners are several times more expensive than five-burners, because I made a purely economic choice, I never cooked for four at once, maximum two are always involved. How it happens.

Yes, all the stoves in my photos are with cast iron, I just don’t want iron.
Sofim
Gypsy , I recently changed a fairly new litter of Gorenje (not two years) for a gas surface. I chose for a very long time, read opinions, reviews and forums, tortured consultants in BT stores, did not save money when choosing, the main thing is to fit the parameters .. As a result, I came to this:
1. Grilles - only cast iron (dishes do not slip, I had steel on Gorenka - slippery).
2. The lattices of the small comfy should come close to the comfy, otherwise the Turk will stand on the comfy itself, and not on the grate.
3. Not a glass surface. On an ordinary stove, if the liquid has boiled away, it will remain on the stove, and will not spread over the countertop and floor. Moreover, they say glass explodes - there are many such reviews. I chose a stainless steel for myself - it suits me in design.
4. Handles in the front (this is just mine - I have a workplace on the right and I wanted a wide plate, not reduced in width due to a strip with handles).
5. The turbo burner in the front, as they say, melts the plastic skirting board on the furniture at the back near the wall. I didn’t know yet what kind of baseboard I would have, but I took note of it.
6. A little comfort is desirable in the front - but this is a personal wish.
7. The burners are not huge, as I often cook on the smallest heat and in small pots.
8.Handles away from open fire, so as not to melt if there is a wide pan on gas. (The manager in one of the magicians said that the Samsungs are melting).
9. Well, gas control is mandatory - that's understandable.

As a result, I settled on this, not at all expensive, but now dearly beloved:

Love the arrangement of the handles
Compared to Combustion when the handle is in "small fire" position, the fire is really very small. In Gorenje it was necessary to set up a very small fire, turning it off.

Well, I dashed off an essay .. I hope my observations will be useful
Gypsy
Sofim, I agree with all your points, I also choose according to the same criteria.
I have in mind a four-burner similar to yours, relatively inexpensive, but it does not have a turbo burner, it is just big, so I did not join my list.

Dachshund, you apparently have a stainless steel smooth as a mirror? I don't want this, I want it in lines .. there are already so many scratches that mine will be lost in them

There is absolutely no choice of enamelled ones with cast iron, here is such a sister of a stainless steel plate from my first post:
Choosing a gas stove
Again, the hood, oven, sink will be made of stainless steel .. I would not like someone in the woods for firewood

SofimHow do you wash your ARDO, is it smooth like a mirror or is it covered with small dashes?

I found a photo where these dashes are more or less visible, we have almost all stainless steel plates of this type, in the reviews I have never met that it is difficult to wash or scratch
Choosing a gas stove
Boo Boo
It's hard to care for a stainless steel, no matter how mine is, it will still not look clean, but it looks definitely better than enameled one.
Sofim
The surface is average between dashes and without, they seem to be there, but not pronounced. So far it is easy to clean, but it is still new, it may be scratched and the appearance will be different, but this is ce la vie. I was still looking at black, but I couldn't find anything for the other parameters. There is a good black - anthracite from Ariston, but I didn't want a camphor on a diagonal. But on this anthracite, they say, drops are not visible, it is not scratched, it is easy to wash.
Boo Boo
Dark color is bad too. I have a brown stove at my dacha, any drop of clean water is visible, and you also gore to rub it, all the time the stains remain. And white is somehow not solid, I don't even know. Probably glass or stainless steel. Is glass really bad?
kava
Can't you see the scratches on the glass? I have a matte stainless steel, everything seems to be fine, but over time it scratches and stains also appear (if not huhai). So I'm thinking of buying a new one in a couple of years, and which one to take - I'm already thinking about it ...
Berry
It seems to me that the enamel somehow doesn't look very good. But this is my personal opinion. I don't like her at all. And you need to take care of everything. I have a stainless steel, it washes well. It is only necessary to rinse off well the detergent so that there are no streaks. I have scratches only in the place where the baby of the car rolled (near the handles), but I noticed this only when I turned on the light right above the stove.
Black enamel is even worse than stainless steel. Before this plate I had just black. This is terrible!!!!
Gypsy
yeah .. it means it's better to buy a cheap stainless steel, and after a couple of years, change it again for a new one.
And glass explodes, I don’t know about you, but I have already read a couple of such reviews, one even with a photo of the explosion, I previously showed them in this thread .. no, I definitely don’t want, no matter how good it looks and doesn’t wash ...

Someone write how you wash your stainless steel plates.I only had enameled ones, mine was primitive, while effectively pouring water and soap, I can do it without soap, for 10-15 minutes, everything that escaped from the pots falls off by itself without detergents And with stainless steel how? I am not going to wash it until it shines and the drops do not touch me too much, the main thing for me is that the obvious dirt is easily and simply removed.
kava
Gypsy, I wash mainly with Shumanite (it is for stainless surfaces). Drops on the stainless steel after frying are visible - definitely, and much more than on light enamel, so I wash it according to the principle: cooked - washed! If you are going to take, then take a matte, not shiny
Gypsy
kava, thanks Allegedly, the Israeli shumanit only sells you, we have not found such a company, but we have all kinds of chemistry.

Crochet, Bosch's grilles on a small comfort do not come close, it seems to me that the Turk will not be, it will be right on the comfort ..

And in Gorenje (though a different model, the stove was bought 2 years ago), when the handle was rejuvenated, the "small fire" fire was not so small, we had to turn it off to the side.
Girulka
Well, what kind of Turk won't and will stand right on the burner, people, wake up? Yes, even the smallest turtle will stand as it should - above the burner, etc. a small cross-shaped grill is included with the stove, which you put on top of the grill above the burner with small dishes !!! And that's it! Inquire about the complete set of the stove!

The Turk will not be there and there, if you do not put a special. crosspiece, specially for this, included in the set of plates.
The factory settings in Gorenye for a small fire are really made with reassurance in case of a draft, that is, not as small as we would like. However, this is fixable with an adjustment that any sober gasman can probably do. A description of such an adjustment and a diagram of the location of the control valve are available in the Burning product guide.
And one more thing, do not forget that when adjusting the "small fire", a sufficient part of the heat must go to the gas control thermocouple ...
