  • A few years later, with a work colleague, we talked about dumplings and she shared the recipe with me, assuring me that the dumplings would turn out to be incredibly tasty.
  • I prepared them and recognized in them the very ones that I once tried in vain to create.
  • The recipe is very simple.
  • Prepare the filling: add sugar, eggs to the cottage cheese, mix.
  • Beat eggs with sugar and salt in a froth, add cottage cheese, beat again. Pour in flour sifted with soda. Knead a soft dough. Roll out the dough into a layer 0.5 - 0.7 mm thick, cut out the circles with a cup, fill and pinch. Steam for 15-20 minutes. Grease the finished dumplings with butter. Dumplings do not stale, they remain the same soft.

  • - as soon as the dough is kneaded, immediately roll out and sculpt the dumplings, because the dough with soda rises once, if the dumplings are not so lush for a long time. In this regard, I prepare the filling in advance.
  • - you can make any filling I had strawberries sprinkled with a mixture of starch and sugar.
  • - I take store cottage cheese 9% fat
  • - the amount of sugar in the dough can be safely reduced
  • - from the given norm of dough, I get a lot of dumplings, for myself, my husband and little son I make half a portion
  • - I always add flour by eye.

Natalia, well, I never measured it. I always pour it into any dough. Probably 3 glasses from a bread machine 1 tbsp (230 ml) and then look at the consistency, you probably still have to add, until a soft kolobok. Don't do cool things.
