Ingredients

Gelatin 3 tbsp. l.
Garlic 1 tooth.
Bay leaf 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Marinate finely chopped onions in advance in a solution of water and vinegar. Boil potatoes, eggs. Boil the chicken fillet, add salt, peppercorns, bay leaf and a squeezed garlic clove to the water. Leave the broth with chicken fillet, it will be used in the preparation of jelly, we need 4 tablespoons of it, if the broth is not enough, you can dilute it with boiled water to the required amount.
  • On the bottom of any deep shape, line the bowls with foil.
  • First layer of finely diced potatoes. Then the bow. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

  • The next layer is chopped chicken and mayonnaise on top.

  • Then small cubes of boiled eggs and mayonnaise.
  • If desired, the filling can be divided into 2 parts and the layout of the layers can be repeated. Put the salad in the refrigerator.
  • Now we need to make the jelly. Strain the chicken broth through cheesecloth or a sieve and add gelatin there (for 4 tablespoons of broth, 3 tablespoons of gelatin). Heat until the gelatin dissolves, stirring constantly, do not boil. Pour the jelly into a deep serving tray or the bottom of a large saucepan to make a liquid about 1-1.5 cm tall. Put in the refrigerator to solidify.
  • When the jelly has solidified, remove from the refrigerator and immerse the container with jelly for a few seconds in hot water and remove it on a tray. Cut into cubes 1-1.5 cm side
  • Take out the salad, gently turn the mold with the salad onto a dish and free it from the film. Grease the salad with mayonnaise on top and sides.
  • Put the jelly cubes on the salad. Start laying out from the bottom, going up.

Note

If you want a transparent jelly, then you can make it not in broth, but in water, salt and squeeze chopped garlic through cheesecloth.
