I didn’t even think that the choice of a juicer should be approached with such care, I went into the store, in the department, just the man was told and shown a Boshev juicer, I sat down, looked and bought the same one. You know, I have no regrets, the juice turns out just gorgeous

Good day everyone.
I read posts about juicers, my head is already spinning from the flow of information.
My old Tefal Elea has completely stopped "thinking about us" and rested in Bose. No, not really, but rather fell into a kind of permanent coma. So the issue of replacement is relevant - after all, my 30 kilograms of pumpkin weigh on my conscience with its appearance. :-))))) At first I looked after Phillips' 1871, but almost nowhere available, wait a week. Switched to her sister in 1861. But the manager of the online store offers to take Scarlet SI-572, they have a promotion this week - for 2999. Cheaper than the selected one for 1500 re. I want to try what kind of animal this is. Here are just reviews about her, well, somehow very little.

Girls, health to everyone! We have 2 juicers - we are happy with everything. But then they were puzzled by the acquisition of a device exclusively for squeezing juice from a pomegranate. Who has what, please advise. Thank you.
igorechek
Take the SCREW EXTRACTOR. I took the cheapest "Travola" for 2.900. Despite being cheap, it handles all products surprisingly well. I always measure the juice yield. So 80% comes out of the pomegranate! juice from peeled seeds. Waste - absolutely dry and compressed remnants of seeds. The wife says. that just now I have tasted the taste of real juice, because we have had a centrifugal SV for a long time, but it cannot squeeze juice from many berries, etc. And the quality of the juice itself is better with the screw.
Musenovna
igorechek, i.e. are you satisfied with your auger ?! I also thought, but the prices
And for 3000 I would have bought it for myself.
igorechek
I usually buy appliances from well-known manufacturers. But none of the acquaintances had auger SV. Bought "for trial" the cheapest 2 months ago at OZONE. It turned out to be a fake for Koreans, but a fake of surprisingly good quality for an order of magnitude cheaper. Whatever was squeezed out - and everything turns out to be of good quality. And the juice yield and quality turned out to be better than that of my Brown centrifuge, which also works well, but the principle of pressing is completely different. The main thing is that squeezes the juice out of any product, "waste" is a minimum. Go to OZON, for example, and look at Travoly there. There are cases when a little-known company rivets everything, and among them, rare successful models are obtained. Apparently this case.

Thank you, I'll monitor it now. While we tried to make juice in a blender, according to the method described above. The juice is excellent, but after squeezing through a sieve a lot of fiber remains on the bones .. But, after all, how quickly and simply, however!

Dear owners of Philips brand Juicers, rushed about in search of Philips 1871, found it. According to reviews, almost all are positive. Is there a difference between Philips 1871 and Philips 1871/10? The latter is nowhere to be found.

Girls advise. I ordered a Philips HR1855 / 00 juicer, it is 700 W at one speed. I need a juicer NOT for workpieces. I want to squeeze 2 glasses of juice every day for two people and drink it right away. More juice is not needed, I have already read that it can be harmful. I liked the juice from a mixture of apple, orange and carrot. I also want to try cabbage juice, either separately, or add to this mixture.

Well, in general, I received this juicer and it seemed to me too bulky for everyday use. I can send it back and take a small HR1832 / 00 Philips, like this. But there is a power of 400 watts. Reviews on it are very good, they write that it makes juice from both carrots and beets. Another disadvantage is that the neck is narrower, but it's not difficult for me to cut 2 apples for a couple of glasses of juice.

You can, of course, order a second one, try and choose. But I haven't made up my mind yet. In principle, I have a place for a larger 700 W, the fact that it is more powerful, probably affects the quality of the spin, the cake seemed to me quite dry, although I have no experience, this is my first juicer. The only thing, it seems to me that the little one will wash faster for me, which is important for everyday use.

What other arguments can there be?
Mirabel
Tanya, I have a juicer like yours, which you now have, I don't remember exactly the model. We are very pleased with it and it is not difficult to wash it .. But we do not need 2 glasses of juice a day, but at least 4. Yes, indeed, the cake is not very dry. because orange is also often added and pears.
It is difficult to advise something, but what if guests come and you have a juicer only for a small amount of juice ...
After reading all sorts of things here, I realized that I also want an auger juicer for soft fruits and vegetables, and Philips for hard foods and combinations of soft and hard.
TanyaG
Thanks for the answer. Yes, if guests come, the little one will not help. So I decided to leave this one.

It's just that yesterday I tested it for the first time. First, I thoroughly washed the new product, then made 2 tbsp in a minute. juice, then I had to wash again, so the impression was not very much from washing. In addition, at first she could hardly understand and assemble, barely put the grid back in place. And today everything was going well. Well, I also thought that later I might need to make juice from something very hard, for example, celery root, but a low-power one might not cope.

As for the dryness of the cake - I have no complaints, I do not do it on an industrial scale, where there is a significant loss of juice, the cake is quite normal, but there is a drop more, a drop less, I don't care.

I really liked the apple-orange-carrot juice, but the tomato juice turns out to be some kind of not uniform, white water and separately flakes from the pulp, probably better from auger. I won't buy a screw, this one is enough for me. The only thing is, maybe someday I will buy an auger squeezer as a spare part for a Bosch combine, I read about it. On the contrary, it crushes tomatoes and berries well, oranges are normal, but about carrots, they write that it is bad.
Mirabel
Tanya, So that's great! let the juicer please!
and it is not necessary to forget about the screw (or nozzle).
Diva
Hello everyone! And who has such?

Zelmer 377 Julita
MOULINEX JU380

There are a lot of reviews about the landlord, not a single one about Moulinex. I choose between these two, I need a compact juicer. Who will advise what?

Mirabel
Diva, 🔗
here is similar to yours, only there is still a press for zirus. The reviews are quite decent! maybe you, too, with the extraction of citrus is better to buy?
Diva
I don't need it separately for citrus fruits, and the price is higher. Thanks for the link, I think they should be basically the same, they just added citrus squeeze to 385.
Mirabel
Diva, aaa well, not needed, and not necessary, In my opinion, too, that they are almost the same.

I have a Philips HR1836 and I am very happy with it. Judging by the fact that in the 1869th model all the parameters are two times better, then the juicer you are asking about is worthy of attention. It has almost twice the power of mine, and the neck is wider, two speeds, an increased volume of the juice container, etc.The only thing they have in common is the QuickClean technology, thanks to which the cone-shaped strainer washes under running water in just a minute. In rare cases, you have to go over it with a sponge, and I have never used a brush at all. Either this strainer is processed in a special way, or it plays the role of installing it in the juicer with a cone up, but it really practically does not clog with cake.
adelinalina
Biryusa, thanks for the answer
and how dry is the cake?

and how dry is the cake?
Depends on which fruits or vegetables we are squeezing juice from. In mine is not very dry, but I do not strive for "sawdust", because this cake is then used (in bread, in fillings ...). And I repeat that my juicer has only 500 watts of power versus 900 for the 1869 model.

I'll get into the conversation. Power does not significantly affect the dryness of the cake. I had a Soviet juicer with a power of 250 W, it gave cake on apples like tyrsu. And modern Scarlett with 800 W gives a very wet cake, you have to throw away the wet ...

of course, well, then I will make fillings from the cake, if it is very wet

girls, happiness, I found vertical screw juicers with us, now you can save

hmm, now I looked, the campaign must first choose which one to take

Girls, owners of the PANASONIC MJ-M171 juicer, can you please tell me if she can squeeze juice from a pomegranate or beet? Will she handle it?
According to the instructions, grenades cannot be loaded into it, but I squeezed out more than once - the cake is dry. Undiluted juice - for an amateur, it is better to dilute with water.
ValiMali
Who knows the AUX AUX-PB921 juicer? Is the price of $ 240 for such a normal one? Found in jd and got interested. The thing is multifunctional. With a bunch of programs and features. I want to buy, but first I decided to find out the prices.

I made juice from grapes with a juicer. There were a lot of grapes, 4 20-liter buckets. I squeezed out the juice, then put it on the stove, brought it to a boil and turned it off. I collected the foam from above, together with the pulp in a sieve and filtered it so that the juice would not be thrown away with the foam. Then I filtered the juice through a fine sieve, it poured out very slowly because of the pulp. Again, I was not satisfied with floating small pieces of pulp and I filtered the juice through 4 layers of gauze, once again brought it to a boil and rolled it into jars. Squeeze juice with a juicer quickly, but the filtration process is dreary. Can someone suggest an easier way to make juice, pure, without pulp? I thought about a juicer, only there you will cook large volumes of fruit for weeks.

Girls, tell me, how do you cook apples for juicing? Should the core be removed?
And if wormy?

Throw away all the bad things before.
Svetta
Pity, I only remove wormy places or spoiled from apples. I do not remove the core, it still will not get into the juice. Thus, I process up to several buckets of apples, the juice is clean and transparent.

The core and seeds spoil the mesh knife in the juicer.A spoiled apple must be thrown away, even if it is not all spoiled, rot penetrates the whole fruit.
Svetta
I guess I have the wrong apples or the wrong juicer. Plowing for 20 years and no demolition, only roars like a beast.
And about a small speck of rot, everyone decides for himself whether to scatter apples or dispose of.
DonnaRosa
There are few apples in the cities on the Dnieper.
Mirabel
svetta, I totally agree with you!
DonnaRosaOn YouTube, I saw a review of my juicer (I have a Philips centrifuge), so the foreign uncle threw whole apples and said_see how convenient! nothing needs to be cleaned. everything is very fast and simple.
I also cut out something I didn't like. I can cut it in half and put everything in a juicer

Do you know or just think so? Strange statement ...
DonnaRosa
Cut rotten apples and squeeze juice for yourself.
Svetta
DonnaRosa, I wrote that everyone will decide for himself what to do with substandard apples. But it still touches how persistently you care about the health of people you don't know.
DonnaRosa
Fruits and vegetables cut with rot should not be eaten.
People respect and will also let rot in the juice. Forum is a public matter.
Svetta
Don't be so categorical. This is your opinion, do not impose it. Everyone will decide for himself what to do with his health. Or do you think that after your approval everyone will stop processing such apples at once? Make no mistake.
The Ministry of Health has warned about the dangers of smoking many times, it is written on each pack, and people both smoked and will smoke ... By the way, I do not smoke.
DonnaRosa
He decides that he decides, but to promote rotten food is nonsense.
Svetta
DonnaRosa, all of you have heard, enough already to discuss.

My juicer has served me faithfully since 1993.

But she's assembled in Spain. I bought it for $ 20.

And the Chinese Zelmer, purchased a couple of years ago for my daughter, burned out on the third beet.

How do you cook apples for juicing?
Irina, depending on how many apples you have, it's one thing - your garden and apples simply have nowhere to put. just to somehow process, and it's another matter - if the apples are bought or have your own - but not very much

we have a third option, our own, but 2 apple trees, there are apples, but not the sea, 20 buckets, in a good year 30-35
- I always remove the core from not small apples, I roll it up on compotes = or in jars or dry it
- cake, even from a screw juicer, even from a centrifugal one, I get clean, it is also all used - jam mostly, or in ketchup as a filler and thickener
- apples, small, with the middle are well processed by centrifuges, a screw juicer requires finer slicing, although it is fashionable to advertise screws with * wide necks * - and the whole carrot and apple are thrown = why ... the auger is more delicate than a centrifuge

Irsha, Irina, and what model do you have?
I have my own garden and there are always a lot of apples. The volumes can be said to be industrial. I bought a juicer with automatic ejection of cake, I was very unhappy, the cake was very raw. Now I decided to find a productive centrifuge. There is a screw, I love her very much.

How to close apple juice from sweet apples from a juicer for the winter?
My mother used to bring it to pasteurization temperature in a milk maker and close it in hot jars ...
Marika33
Natusya, I heat the juice to 60 degrees and seal it. This year she pasteurized, using the Tanya - Admin method. I immediately poured it into a jar and put it in a bucket, brought it to 60 degrees and corked it. Apple juice itself is a preservative, never exploded cans.
Svetta
Natusya, my dacha apples are sweet, and the juice from them undiluted already sticks to my mouth. So I close it - from the juicer straight into the bottles and cork it. From the juicer, the juice goes about 70-80 degrees, so to such a T and you need to heat it up and roll it up.
Natusya
Girls, thanks. I already made the juice in the staff. Simmering + 15min. 95 *. I don't know how it turned out, just delicious
