Ladies, I also became the owner of a dishwasher
We took a full-size Hansa 675. Not expensive at all, not an installation (for me it doesn't matter at all, there is a place). I wanted, of course, something more expensive, with a separate rinse, but then my husband set a hard money limit, so she chose from what she could afford. And yes, I was categorically against the online store, there you could take Siemens for this price. It seems that the reviews about her were not bad, I took a chance. From what was absolutely necessary was a half load and a child lock. While she was completely delighted, she could never wash with her hands without a heap of efforts. We have bad, very ferruginous water up to the pile, so there were always drops. Not here. Pleasantly. For me, working a bunch of mom with two kids, this is just a godsend.

Nathalte, Natusik, congratulations! Heartily!
Now the main thing is to properly organize the dishes (so that there is enough) and the family (so that they themselves will clean these dishes in the ppm)!

We've lost you already! And you, it turns out, have completed an "impossible mission"! Well done!!!

night_furia
Nathalte, congratulations on your purchase. May it continue to please you. In a couple of days you won't understand at all how you used to live without her. You really can't wash the dishes with your hands. I used mine for only 1.5 weeks, now it is in the service, but even in such a short time it turns out I "got hooked" on it.
Nathalte
Accomplishment, Len, so I know how much I worked ... and so persuaded, and that way ... Ufff, seven then came off ... But still my husband boycotts and basically washes himself with his hands

I read Temko, but there is no time to do something.
And mine also decided to take a break from baking, they only want sandwiches in a grill panel

night_furia, a year ago I was firmly convinced that nafig I don't need any dishwasher. And then I tried it with a friend ... Once, twice ... Damn, it's so convenient. Yes, chemistry and all that, but in order to cleanly wash me with my water, I still have to use a lot of chemistry, so I decided.
Kapet
Quote: Nathalte
Yes, chemistry and all that
I always want to ask in such cases: Where did you see something without chemistry? Even the same baking soda, sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3, actively used by housewives who stand up for naturalness and safety - 100% chemistry, obtained in industry by the ammonia-chloride method ...
Shl. It would be interesting to see the composition of the product with which your husband washes the dishes with his hands ...
night_furia
Nathalte, did the right thing, at first I was also a little embarrassed by the chemistry, but after the dishwasher playfully washed the stubborn tea plaque from the teapot, which I couldn’t scrape off from it at all, a plastic dish dryer with many all sorts of details that were washed out only with ear sticks, and a cutting board with a corrugated surface, I already have chemistry / no chemistry anyway. In extreme cases, I will die happy. And I also fought with my husband. I didn't want to take a dishwasher to any, they just swore just horror, they didn't talk all day, and now when they took me to the service, she was waiting for her even more, I say, if we break down again, we'll hand it over, but he doesn't want to fix it, says how we without her we will now.
ksyusha1997
night_furia, Margot, what broke in 1.5 weeks? And what type of car do you have?
Nathalte
Kapet, You are absolutely right
The husband, however, tries to wash without means, under hot water, but the result is very often deplorable
And according to your advice, I took the remedy biomio, tried it from a friend, now for myself. What else would you advise decent and safe enough?
night_furiaand we fought

ksyusha1997, Oksana, Bosch SPS 58 M 12 RU car, I don’t know the service verdict yet, first error E15 came out, they called the wizard, there were no errors, he said it looked like a leak, it’s better to go to service, but advised her to drive the car to the service until the store yet, they did just that - error E11, ice dishes. In general, we are waiting.

If there is no BioMio, then we use the German eco-friendly Frosch, tablets - I also really like it. If there is no Frosch, then the German powder for PMM Sodasan, or their tablets. All Sodasan products are CERTIFIED ORGANIC, but Frosch and BioMio are still a little better in terms of washing quality ...
Perhaps there are other good and safe facilities in your area that are not available to us. But here I am no longer your assistant ...

P.S. We also have domestic powder for PMM in Ukraine 🔗, with a safe, environmentally friendly composition, but for some reason it is easier to buy German or other products from us than the products of this domestic manufacturer ... Apparently, marketing and logistics are not up to par ...

I am so happy when I find out that one of the girls bought a dishwasher, as if they just got theirs! Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! Happiness from a dishwasher and a washing machine is an unforgettable emotion -;)

My Hansa has been washing dishes for a year and a half. Do not forget to rinse the filter once a month, I rarely, it does not clog. Congratulations!

No, well, a plate, a spoon, a fork can still be washed after you, if you don't collect a line of similar ones. But add here pots, saucepans, pans, bowls, glasses, etc., and this with your hands under hot water? - Tell your husband that he does not pity you ...
And to wash dishes with gloves is not washing. In gloves, the surface is not felt - for grease, stickiness, etc. And the eyes are not helpers in this matter ...
Calculate, and show your husband the bill - how much will the daily manicure with nail polish and skin care for the hands in the nearest salon cost, or the services of a coming housekeeper ... by the sink with hot water and dirty dishes ...
Tanya-Fanya
I periodically show my husband how much the water meter readings fell after purchasing the dishwasher. A powerful argument, I tell you. After all, we pay both for the consumption of water and for its discharge into the sewer.
Nathalte
We have a well, so water is not an indicator). But in fact, today he appreciated the cleanliness of the kitchen (children now and then eat something, some kind of a plate is a cup in the sink). Hands, yes, this is my problem, especially in winter. Plus, I work a lot this year, I'm so tired of going home at 9 pm and finding a pile of dishes. And you are right, Kapet, if the plates are washed, then a bunch of pots, pans, etc. Plus flour with washing glass Ikeevsky trays after meat, for example ...
In short, I haven't been so happy about a gadget for a long time
VolzhankaD, there are not enough reviews about Hans, I was a little worried. Which filter is below?
Kapet
Quote: Nathalte
We have a well, so water is not an indicator).
The question, to put it mildly, is controversial ... A well is a pump that consumes electricity in proportion to the amount of pumped water. These are filters that get more clogged from more water consumption. And there is also a sink. It is good if there is a central sewerage system. But we do not have it, but there is a septic tank in which bacteria work to separate them into fractions, from where the "soup" enters the drainage pipes, and from them into the ground. And the requirements for the chemistry used here are increasing - poisonous finishes or local somata do not contribute to the active functioning of bacteria ... Therefore, I would say that a dishwasher is no less relevant for a private house than for a city apartment ...

Likewise, yeah.
Hmm ... From this point of view, I watched it, and yet the argument.

Good night, all-knowing experts! I read the forum (I'm already tired of reading and a mess in my head), but I'm tormented by a choice. Do not shower with slippers, but I am looking after a used dishwasher from Germany, because the new one is in stores at an affordable price ($ 400 is junk, and what I like is from $ 800).
I look towards AEG, Siemens, Boshey or Mila. 2 years ago I bought an AEG dryer and I am immensely happy (especially at the price of 110 green!). I also heard a lot about the legendary quality of Mila washing machines. Are there used dishwashers here? What can you say about your animals? Thank you for your feedback!

What can you say about your animals?
To speak in detail about used products, even from Germany, even from Laos, you need to know the percentage of wear of such a specific product. For example, when you buy a car, you are guided by mileage / mileage, appearance, repairs after accidents, etc. or mostly idle? If anyone here answers, then you understand - such a review will only apply to a specific product, by which it will be biased and incorrect to judge all used PMMs. IMHO ...
Accomplishment
Basically I agree!
The only thing I will add: Mile and AEG are higher in class, they have, in principle, a different service life laid down by the manufacturer. Therefore, perhaps you can draw with them ..

Mile and AEG are higher class
For the same reason, there may be problems with the possibility of repairing such high-quality products, or the high cost of repairs. Whatever class the product has, but its breakdown is only a matter of time. The high-end ones have longer MTBFs. But this is also in many ways a lottery ...
IMHO better look at Siemens models for 10-12 thousand hryvnia (about $ 400, +/-) - German decent reliable workhorses. And the wash will be no worse than Miele or AEG ...

I once owned a Mille washing machine. It worked flawlessly. But the year of its release was long ago. Therefore, there was no energy mode, economical wash.
Therefore, look at the year of release, appearance.
Of course, made for the German domestic market is different from those in other countries
VolzhankaD
Nathalte, Yes, from the bottom, it can be unscrewed and disassembled into 3 parts. I got Hansa without options, they sold it in Eldorado after replacing a defective filter with a huge discount. Full size, only, the teeth of the top tray are short for my spoons, they turn over. But the quality of the sink is good, and quiet, we sleep with the kitchen door open.
About 8 months later, something cracked in the door and it stopped automatically closing, which is much more convenient for me

In washing machines, the year of manufacture is on the bottom of the powder tray, a plate is glued to the door, on the back wall.
In the PMM, probably on trays or baskets. Better to go to a home appliance store and ask the seller
night_furia
Vinnitsa, Elena, for bosses, the date of manufacture is indicated on the door, FD is marked with YGMM, where YY is the year of manufacture +1920, MM is the month of manufacture. I suppose the Siemens should have it too.
Vredin @
Elena, I would not buy a used PMM. Although, if the issue price is only $ 100. That is, then, of course, you can take a risk, but be prepared that not everything will be smooth. How the PMM will work, in my opinion, depends on how the previous owners used it. Someone has it instead of a curbstone and was launched a maximum of a couple of times for the entire time (although a long downtime also confuses me), and someone used, as it is said above, "both in the tail and in the mane", while never falling asleep salt and without cleaning the filters.
While I was studying the PMM models, I came across negative reviews several times, the owners complained about frequent breakdowns of the typewriter, to which they were told in the SC that they should not put dishes with bones and waste in the PMM, that they must first be brushed off. People were surprised and annoyed, why do they need a typewriter, if they also need to brush the remnants of food off the plate.
On the forums, they often discuss what else, besides dishes, you can wash in the PMM. I really don't know if they really wash everything or joke in it, but the comments are impressive:
"I started with street toys, then stuffed slippers there at the same time"
"My friend decided to wash the potatoes in the dishwasher ... Gee-gee .... Then she could not clean it (the dishwasher) of the sand!"
"I read my topic and washed three pairs of my husband's shoes in PMM. Beach slippers, crocs and sandals.
the sides of the sandals have peeled off from the sole, you will have to stick it later. the rest of the shoes, I would have better washed it with a brush in the basin for sure "

In general, I am now somewhat wary of used PMM ...

The machine returned from the service. Conclusion: tank through corrosion, tank brazing.

I don’t know ... Still, people walk on the ground in shoes, and there spitting, cat and dog excrement, they visit public toilets. Washing at 70 degrees will not kill helminth eggs and other nasty things.

By the way, a question on the case: 70 degrees in an intensive wash, do you think, is enough for disinfection?
As far as I understand, dishes for food and drink are disinfected by boiling or disinfecting solutions. Accordingly, washing at 70 degrees is not disinfection. But here, to be honest, I do not quite understand why an average average family should disinfect the dishes, in which there are no patients with infectious diseases. Here, it seems to me, 70 degrees is more than enough.
Robin bobin
Well, I don’t know, I would like to have a disinfection function. And how much is the maximum? I have not met more than 70.

I have an installation for Mile. If still relevant, I found the year of manufacture on the end of the door.

Robin bobin, smeg promises a thermo-disinfection program in a professional dishwasher - rinsing at 93 ° C, but the price
Accomplishment
For reference. 70 ° is enough to kill bacteria. Disputes, if they already exist, will not lose their viability. They will not lose it even at 93 ° C.
If it were that simple, then autoclaves (steam, pressure, 120-130 °) and dry-heat ovens (150 ° and higher) would not have been invented. Moreover, they are processed for a long time, not 1-1.5 hours (and rinsing is minutes, most likely).

+100500

At the moment, the intellectual Mille herself periodically turns on rinsing at 75 ° C to prevent the development of microorganisms (in my opinion, somehow it is named in the instructions) in her beloved!
So if you regularly use an intensive program, you can, IMHO, not think about bacteria.
Robin bobin
Hmm, I see). I know one very clean, meticulous and squeamish family in which they let the dog lick the saucers - because they believe that the dishwasher disinfects everything. For the rest, the dog has everything separately - she is not allowed on the sofa). So I somehow followed them and believed that PM is suitable for disinfection even in such cases as a dog)).

My Siemens has a "hygiene +" function. The manufacturer recommends it for sterilizing children's dishes, dishes for preserving and processing sick dishes.
As far as I understand, there is an additional rinsing at a high temperature. 90 degrees or even higher. An extra 15 minutes is added to the program.
When someone is sick at my house, I give the sick person a cup, spoon and plate, no one else uses these dishes, but they wash in a common heap, with this mode turned on.
Recently I had a sore throat, it is not particularly transmitted by airborne droplets, but through dishes - easily. So, nobody got infected with me.
Now, of course, sneakers will fly at me, but I'm not a lover of unnecessary work, and since I have such a function in my typewriter, I use it with pleasure. And I think it's a bad option to breed microbes in a dish rag.

If I'm not mistaken, when I was interested in PMM models, including Siemens, the HygienePlus function provides disinfection of dishes by rinsing them with 70 ° C water for either 10 or 15 minutes. This is where we are talking about whether rinsing with 70 ° water is enough for disinfection. But even 70 ° C is undoubtedly better than the option with handles and a cloth.
