I also have a family that is not small, and I was also looking for a larger volume. I bought it for five liters. Enough and even very much. But I realized that I didn't need more only when I began to cook in a mule.
Happy shopping

girls, good afternoon! maybe I'm not writing in this topic, but I could not figure out where to write, sorry! I was presented with the Maxwell multicooker MAXWELL MW-3801 multicooker, although I like Scarlet 411 better! Can you tell me how this slow cooker is, is it worth using it or is it better to go to change it for a scarlet? Who used it, what nuances it might have. I looked at the recipes in the books, almost everything is prepared in the heating mode, even frying! (Well, except for soup, porridge), it turns out strangely. Thanks in advance for the info! And here somewhere you can find recipes for her? More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=158832.0

About Multicooker MAXWELL MW-3801
She lived with me for exactly 3 days ... More my nerves could not stand it, gave it to more patient people ...
I bought it for a summer residence (at home Fields 517 and baby redmond 01), and so compared no not like this! You can't even compare it with anything: it spits porridge, and if you don't keep track of it, then milk rivers with oat banks suit you, baking is nothing but a "dance with tambourines" - 3 times in the heating mode! And this is called saving time and freedom from the kitchen routine? I was ready to make sacrifices and make friends with her, but (!) Adjustment of the cooking time is possible only in 4 modes .... How can I carelessly go to the beds when such a saboteur is puffing on my terrace?
On the first page of the instructions it is written: "My first love" hmm ... If it were my first multicooker, then I would have seen this device in principle and forever.
In short, I grew up with her ...
I took Zelmer ek1300 - that's a lot !!!
3500 rubles for 003 - a complete delight in quality and functionality!
Now I will never give it to my dacha !!! Better to Field (6 sput) I'll take you there
Arnica
Does Zelmer have baked goods and frying? And what kind of programs can you learn?
NikSV
Zelmer has it all !!! By the way, everywhere in the description it says that the bowl is Teflon, in fact it is ceramics.
The volume of the bowl - 2.8 l - is working volume, total - about 3.5 (competent approach, IMHO, when buying, you immediately focus on the number of ready meals)
The bowl is plump, mellow, which is also very good. good, because Maxwells burn (burn out / deteriorate)) for many precisely because when frying a small cinnamon product with an open lid, the bowl does not exert the necessary pressure and does not come into contact with the heating element.
Zelmer is simple and intuitive to navigate / control.
But some users may find it a minus internal menu in English.
There is a translation in the instructions, in fact - there are no difficulties.
Moreover, the official website also contains a cookbook and instructions (they are not greedy, recipes, like some manufacturers, do not sell for money). I liked the recipe book awesomely, a lot of dietary dishes (which is important for me)
Start delay and adjustment of cooking time are available on all programs!
In short, I recommend!
Arnica
Thank you! I'm looking for a gift for a friend for an anniversary, the size is right. Is that the price is high. Is the lid removable or not?
NikSV
The inner cover is removable, and very good. well done, strong, plump! Poly's lid is worse, thin as foil. When I wash my cover for Polina, I’m always afraid to bend it inadvertently.
Zelmer is well worth the money!
P.S. not sure what is worth to give a cartoon for the anniversary, which may not justify expectations and cause irritation (for example, Maxwell, although he is extraordinary in appearance). First of all, the functionality is important!
People still praise Stadler Form, but her price is twice as high!
You can also give a useful thing in a joint with someone!
The choice is always difficult!
Good luck, Olyushka!

Several questions arose. Porridge - if you put everything in it in the evening in order to enjoy breakfast in the morning - and the milk will not turn sour if it is hot outside. The same about meat - if you put dinner on the table in the morning and in the evening - nothing, will everything be okay with it?
NikSV
This question applies to absolutely all multicooker!
I have not tried to cook such dishes at a delayed start in any of my MBs (with the exception of jellied meat in Pole, everything worked out OK with it)
Some experienced multi-cookers advise adding pieces of ice to porridge on a delayed start in the heat when laying food.
I think there is enough milk and water from the fridge right away! In my opinion, MV closes very tightly and can successfully keep the product for a long time both warm and cold (like a thermos)

I have this, too, recently. You can see my review in the topic "the first days with a slow cooker".
The instruction is ugly, but in general everything is fine, you just need to get used to it. It is better to fry in the "steam" mode with the lid closed and the valve open.
How long she will live, I do not know, Although it was done in appearance neatly and nothing dangles, does not creak. I don’t think other cheap MBs are much more reliable, this is a lottery, as a rule. But if you wanted a certain model, then it probably makes sense to immediately exchange.

Hello everyone! Girls, help me make a choice. you are welcome. I want my mom to shake the multicooker for her 75th birthday, I need a small 2.5 - 3 liter. I don’t have CF, so there’s nothing to compare ... And we will master it together with my mother. Shoveled the entire forum - porridge in my head! I want almost everything multi, but I need to choose the most understandable and reliable one, since I choose for an elderly person, and my mom and dad live in the village and it will be problematic for me to carry saucepans to the service in Moscow
So, what you need: 1. Make milk porridge for breakfast on a delayed start
2. Soup
3. Put out with plenty of gravy (this is how parents love)
4. Bake casserole or biscuit
Here's my list:

1. Panasonic 10. I like the menu, the reviews seem to be good too, but recently for some reason they don't like it on our forum. Girls, is the scoreboard very "blind"?

2. Brand want very much, but no with a small bowl. Maybe it will appear in a month, what do you think?

3. Toshiba, but confuses the non-Russified menu.

4. Cuckoo 0821 looks like nothing like that ...

In short, I got confused, I need a simple, convenient and reliable cartoon for an elderly person here ...
Vei
While Panasonic is quite suitable for the given selection criteria, the others are not. But Panas's menu is blind, of course.
Toshiba and cuckoo will not work, they are still more rice cookers than multicooker, you will have to dance with tambourines over porridge, plus it is also difficult to select modes at this age.

Absolutely. I am guided only by the number of "squeaks". If you just write on a piece of paper: programs and the number of clicks.
Vikulina
Vei, Omela,
Thank you very much, so my first thought was also about Panasonic. Is it better to buy an additional bowl right away, or is one enough for a start?

Omela, what's not to be seen at all? Will the glasses help?

How are mommy and daddy's eyesight? If you can see well with glasses, then you will not find anything better, simpler and more reliable than Panasonic. The only drawback is that the display is not illuminated and small.

Better two at once, so as not to shift endlessly and so that you can immediately put the second bowl, and not wait for the first to cool, wash, dry. The only question is - what if the parents do not have a relationship with the cartoon? Will you take it for yourself or will the cartoon be idle and then a completely unnecessary bowl?

Well, my mother reads with glasses normally ... I wear glasses myself, so my mommy often dresses, says she sees everything.
I think everything will be fine, I taught her to communicate on Skype, she can Skype me herself, so she will figure it out with the cartoon. Her bread maker is constantly in use.

Then do not hesitate, since mom is so advanced. The baker's display is also not so hot, but it copes, so it will master the cartoon!

No, well, everything is more or less normal in the photo, I reviewed all the pictures on the seller's sites, it's just that many are dissatisfied with Panasonic in this regard.
And as for the saucepan, you made me very, very happy ... 5 years is a very good time, my pans do not last more than 2 years, maximum 3 years.

Oh, girls THANK you all very much, they helped me a lot!

I understood about the bowls, thanks. Well, if suddenly my parents do not work out with a cartoon, then I myself will come to them and cook, all the more I go to them often and it happens for a long time (only it would work out for myself)

Girls, I'll torture you again
Price range 1500r. Eldorado is the cheapest. Could it be that a defective batch is being sold there?
I understand that the question ... uh ... stupid, to put it mildly, but I don't want to run into a low-quality product, a gift after all, especially since my mother herself wanted a cartoon ...
Here I am so suspicious

And here's another thing, the bowl is without handles. Are there no problems with pulling out the usual (rag tack)?

I think that all Panasonic in one plant is slapdash. Also multi fake? They do not have such a "tasty" price for this to start a left production line. Rather, the price differs from the volume of sales and trade markups.

It's not difficult for me to pull out with simple potholders. But if the hands are sore, then problems are possible. My mother-in-law had polyarthritis, so she barely even held a cup-plate with her fingers. If this is not so bad, then I think that everything will be fine.

I have two Panasonic, and my mother (63 years old) gave the same one. For us, there are no problems with the display, I first read about it now. The pots can be removed with potholders without problems.

I read, I read about multicooker, but I can't make up my mind about the choice. In appearance I like Brand 502 very much. But I am confused by the volume of prepared food 1.8 liters.
I can't understand why in some multicooker the bowl is 5 liters, but cooks 1.8, and in others the bowl is 3.5 liters, but cooks 2.8 liters. Why is this happening? Explain who can.

I think the figure 1.8 is conditional. basically they write like that everywhere. you just need to be more attentive with the strongly bubbling contents, so that the liquid does not pour under the bowl!
I also cook a full saucepan of borscht in a 5-liter multi! but looking after him!

It all depends on the manufacturer! What volume of the bowl do they claim? Full bowl or working volume?
It is also important what kind of dish you are preparing: liquid or not very? And how do the "evil" or the delicate regimes work?
Example: in a five-liter Field 0517 I cook jellied meat "under the call" above the maximum I fill in water - everything is OK!
Zelmer is declared as 2.8 l, but (!) This is the working volume according to the markings, in fact the total volume of the bowl is about 3.5 l (I love it, but I will not recommend it to my mother: the menu is not Russified, it is too small, albeit backlit)
Redmond 01 (my baby) has justified itself very much in terms of functionality and volume, although only 2 liters. Output soup 1.8 l, buckwheat porridge with beef, stewed vegetables, pilaf, etc. - the same. She is very "neat", she never runs away, does not "spit" through the valve. Not capricious at all.
And what cupcakes and curd casseroles Glitter!
For two (mom + dad) I recommend. Easy to manage. If I'm not mistaken, her only auto-heating can be turned off at the start!
5 liters for two is not justifiably a lot: the recipe has to be divided by at least 2, all dishes on the bottom are cooked, and because of the wide bottom, the baked goods are like pancakes. (this is how it was with Paul, so manyunyu and Zelmer bought)
In general, the people are very good. Panasy and Stadler praises!
Stadler especially! (4 l is), I matsala in the store - cool, but expensive
Rina
1.8 liters is 1.8. liters of dry rice. These are the standard measures for rice cookers, from which, in fact, the multicooker was born. Panasonic 18 is designed for 1.8 liters of rice (10 measuring cups).Little Panasonic has an index of 10, that is, 1 liter of rice. When translating many instructions, translators do not particularly bother to delve into the text. Sometimes it turns out a complete garbage (sorry for my French).

Hello everyone! I was already dizzy from the Internet. I came here and here I cannot find the answer to my question. A bunch of topics and run from one to another, but there is no time to read all the pages. Help! Answer simple. For a young family, which one is better to buy a multicooker, naturally you want to perform as many functions as possible. What functions should be in addition to a double boiler, what is the optimal volume? Is it really true that you can even bake something in multicooker. In general. I'm ashamed, but apparently I'm 46 years behind life
V-tina
Vera, in addition to a steamer, a multicooker can play the role of a yogurt maker, a pressure cooker, fry, cook, stew and bake .. the volume depends on the number of eaters, there are even a lot of 4 liters for three of us, I cook mainly for one meal ... decide what functions you need more are needed and then you can choose what you need. Personally, I love my Stadler here is the topic https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=99999999&topic=177159.0

Well, it seems I chose. Now in Foxtrot there is a 50% discount on the second purchase. Of all the companies that are in this store, I liked the Fhilips HD3077 and 3039 multicooker. And now the main thing is that they were. I read so many reviews, recipes and so-so I wanted such a thing in the kitchen

I choose a slow cooker for my daughter, but I wanted to myself for a long time. But my husband is against unnecessary use of electricity (we have gas in our apartment, if I had an electric stove, I would have bought it long ago). I already have an airfryer in my pantry

Well, if only due to the fact that the action in Foxtrot and the brand is familiar. I would also read about others, for example Scarlett IS-MC412S01, DEX-60, Polaris 0508d floris. True, the more choice, the more difficult.

Yes, there is basically everything with gas stoves. And there was not much more electricity. From gas. plates with el. the oven winds more.

Olya. I agree with you. but in our city there is no choice. I don't trust Scarlet and Vitek firms.Of course, I took a bite on the action, you need to make 2 gifts, so the second one will be at half price. Which one do you use?

I have a gas oven. But you know how hard it is for our peasants to persevere. I will wait for the next holiday

I have a Dex-60, on the advice they bought 5 more people and everyone is happy, then it disappeared and now it appears again. I bought Polaris Floris as a gift, tested it a little, I also liked it. I bought my son a Scarlet 410, very good, but it doesn't bake, the price was just ridiculous. A friend bought a Yummi 505 for my mother, when Deks were not there, she was already two times in the service - one disorder, not MV, although the price is 900 UAH.
I didn't trust Scarlett either, but Phillips was advised against me.

Tell us about the advantages: that I got up in the morning and the breakfast is hot, that I went out on business or for a walk with her grandchildren, and she cooks, that if she forgot to turn it off, she won't burn, she turns it off, etc. And everything is so tasty, not like on the stove ... Most men notice this.
