I made a fish, there were potatoes below, and a fish in foil in a basket - a double boiler. There was no smell, but it was delicious.

What mode?
There is almost no steam on extinguishing ...
I just made potatoes in the "stewing" mode, the slave certainly didn’t evaporate ...

And I would do it on Plov mode !!!

Well, if I was sober, then at Baking!

Smells still spread from the multicooker. Undoubtedly, there are much less of them than with traditional cooking. But they are still there.

Hello everybody!!! I have two questions
1. I have an excellent oven, HP - yes, a double boiler, microwaves. - there is, time for cooking is more than enough. Yes, the stove is electric. I think I need a multicooker? Birthday is on the nose, something needs to be ordered
2. The young man is single, does not like to cook, but wants to eat He will cope with a slow cooker, so that without any special problems. Well, like, came-laid-left-sounded-ate. Too lazy for him to stand at the stove, it's easier to fly to McDonald's or Eurasia
Aunt Besya
In the spring of last year, I reasoned in exactly the same way, since point 1 coincides with you literally !! The girls on the site convinced me and I became the owner of a big cartoon !!! And not a minute, not a second since then I have not regretted !!!
Do not even think, buy !!! You won't make such soups, such stews in the oven and on the stove, and how much time and nerves you save !!!!

I had an interesting story with the purchase of a cartoon. She showed her to her husband, painted all the dignity, he naturally (n) zero emotions, we don't need this, we have everything, etc. etc. I resigned myself. And then the children were prescribed a steam diet. No steamer. As presented all the trouble - it became bad. Then I remembered the cartoon. And disobeying her husband, I bought it at my own peril and risk (and the price is so attractive - 4999 for 4.5 liters). But you can't keep it a secret - I gave up. At first he swore very much. And then it so happened that I got sick and lay around for a day. And the husband was left to be torn apart by three children. And it was then that he checked out the cartoon! It's okay that, due to the inexperience of barley, I prepared a full saucepan (oh, we will eat it for a long time), but what a! I was surprised that it was so boiled. In general, forgiveness is easier to obtain than permission AND the cartoon is worth it!
When I charged it for the first time, I did not know what to do with myself. It's so unusual - you don't need to stand over it and control it. Poured and forgot: nyam: Super! And with the children they went for a walk with a calm soul - they came, and at home a hot dinner was waiting. So nice! no need to cook all day in the morning or rush headlong to the stove after a walk. Or have a snack in no one knows where and no one knows what. Time really saves.
I'm not talking about the benefits and ease of management.
P.S. and a cartoon for 2.5 liters there for some reason cost 6499

And here's another question, like from many And which one to buy? I like to buy the most reliable, functional, convenient, in general, for a long time. Do they have a start delay, for example, for cereals?

I've been using cartoons for a couple of months already, I'm very happy.
There is a delayed start, in general, because of this, and bought. but then I discovered a lot of other advantages.
you need to buy Panasonic SR-TMH 18 (bowl with a volume of 4.5 liters.) and Panasonic SR-TMH-10 (bowl volume 2.5 liters), in Moscow, in my opinion, there are no other options. I advise you to take a bowl with a volume of 4.5 liters. we have a family of 3 people, my husband and I and one year old daughter. I chose for a long time and very happy that I chose the big one. in it you can cook less and more. but you can't do that in a small one

Let's say you cooked soup or pilaf in a cartoon. Do you then pour the soup or transfer the pilaf to another dish?
I shift and pour over, because I always need a saucepan, every day I do something in it.
Boo Boo
If you need a saucepan, then pour it. If not, I'll cover it with a plate and put it in the refrigerator. I do not like to do unnecessary body movements. )))
tatulja12
I transfer it to another saucepan, since it is still not recommended to heat it up in it.
elena_110
Girls, and then the soup does not turn sour in another saucepan? Do you need to boil it again?
Suslya
I, too, have not oxydated yet, and I do not have a dishwasher.
Elenka

And I don't have a dishwasher ..... I wonder if it will turn sour or not ...
Elena, I pour it directly into another pan and let it boil, then turn it off immediately. My soul is calm then. I don't have a PM either.
Lika
It is enough to scald with boiling water the dishes where you will pour the soup, let it cool completely and you can put it in the refrigerator with a clear conscience. Nothing will turn sour.

Aaaaaaa !!!!! Girls!!!! The head will explode soon! I decide for myself the question of buying a multicooker (is it necessary?).
After reading you, I think that I will become the owner of such an assistant. But I have a question. I advocate healthy, wholesome food (as I understand it, a multicooker can provide this). But! Cooking soups according to the principle "put everything at once and forget" how does it affect the nutritional properties of food, the preservation of vitamins in it ??? After all, when you cook soup on the stove, you must strictly observe the order in which the products are laid, so that it is tasty and not digested-digested .. But how? What about vitamins and benefits in products?

I am grateful to everyone in advance for the answers, opinions ...

, I have with cooking too. to put it mildly. "not really" Although I am 40 years old from day to day and family experience for more than 20 years ... But the situation changed radically after that. how I got here:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=99999999&topic=10120.0
The recipes are simple. everything is told in great detail and everything is so DIVINE TASTY! It turned out. that I also know how to make delicious cutlets. and stuffed cabbage. and jellied meat. and potatoes ... Oh, everything, it turns out, I can! All recipes have been repeatedly tested, appreciated and this is their main value. Cook to your health!
And be sure to buy a multicooker, it will not disappoint you, be sure!
Raisins * ka , Boo Boo correctly said: what is there to think ?! We must TAKE !!!
I've been using the cartoon for a year and a half. I also read a lot on the site and, overcoming greed (not a cheap saucepan, after all!) I bought it. I have never regretted it. After me all my friends bought without exception. then friends bought children-students in hostels and mothers-retirees home. sorry . that I am not a multicooker networker, otherwise such a branch would have grown under me! Everyone is very happy with the purchase.
About a healthy diet. I consider. that there is nothing "healthier" than a slow cooker. Steaming, cooking cereals, milk, vegetables at a gentle temperature. nothing boils away and does not splash out, does not burn and does not stick. Each product has strictly its own temperature and strictly its own time. that is, the effect "forgot it on the stove. And it boiled for another hour" is completely excluded.
One more example. I always bought hercules, although I knew. that whole grains of oats are significantly healthier for the body. but try to boil them. and even in milk! This is the hour to kill. and then wrap the saucepan in fur coats so that it steams well. When to arrange this tights ?! faster Hercules. And even better, generally quick-dissolving "useful" Bystrovs and others like them. Now that I have a slow cooker, I cook porridge without the hassle of only whole grains.Delicious, very healthy and completely without wasting time: I measured everything with a glass and went to bed. In the morning, the whole family did not eat sandwiches with coffee. but delicious oatmeal. Or millet with pumpkin. Or rice with raisins

And I bought MV after reading, though she is only a month old, but I do not regret a single gram. The husband is also pleased. He admitted that he thought it was just my whim and the device would be idle, but now he himself is glad of the purchase. Everything that I cooked in it was very tasty. And she stewed cabbage (it wouldn't work with gas) and cooked porridge for breakfast - it's just not realistic to get up an hour earlier. And the biscuit was baked. There is probably no point in listing. So, I also join BooBu-We must take, there are undeniable pluses!

Once upon a time I wondered this question, closer to the beginning of the topic. I have a Zepter on the farm and a cartoon. So, the principle of cooking is the same, although it is achieved by different methods - do not overheat the product during cooking. In the Zepter, this is served by a thick bottom (well, besides this, you need to use these dishes), and in the cartoon - the program, that is, you do not need to learn (almost, especially having this forum as assistants), pressed the button and invariably excellent result And this inspires new culinary feats as much as possible

As for the gas - if I had it - maybe my cooking would be more edible, and my electric stove. If you add a little - it boils - you subtract it - it doesn't cook at all ... And this is a good stove. When there used to be a Soviet - at least shout the guard. The camphor only warmed up for 5 minutes, and cooled down for half an hour. I had to cook on two at once, as soon as it boiled, you move it to another camphor.

Dear bakers, it's great to have a community where you can talk about exciting cooking topics. 1.5 years ago, on the initiative of my father, we bought a bread maker and after the first failures in baking bread, we started looking for where to get advice. The forum helped a lot in the first steps of baking, but it turned out to be very contagious. Dad baked bread first, bought a bread maker for the country. Then I got infected and we began to bake bread in the oven, first with yeast, and then with sourdough. After reading the forum, a Kenwood combine, Berghoff dishes and a multicooker appeared at home a month ago.
Even the men appreciated the combine (dad and husband).

We are very happy with the multicooker. Dad loves various cereals, but in order to achieve the desired consistency earlier, he had to wrap the porridge or pilaf in a blanket and wait a long time.

The multicooker was tested immediately after the purchase, they prepared millet porridge with raisins, rice and buckwheat, wheat, corn and barley were next. We are also planning to master the preparation of first courses.

Dad is just delighted with the method of cooking (they bought the cartoon again for the summer cottage), but apparently they will have to buy a second one and go home.

Many thanks to everyone who supports newcomers and guides them on the right path.

And a multicooker is worth buying, they rightly say that you SHOULD TAKE thinking.

HELP, PLEASE, KIND PEOPLE!

I'm going to get the cartoon soon.

How to check in the store? What to look for?

What should be included (otherwise I always buy with adventures ...) ?!

I understand that they have already written about all this more than once, but I’m just running soon, and I don’t have time to reread the necessary topics. :

Instructions in Russian, check, warranty, measuring cup, spoon, wire, white container with holes for steaming. Look for scratches on the Teflon and for external damage and dents on the multicooker itself. Plug it in, use the menu button to go through the programs, put it on baked goods and press start. The bottom of the pot and the inside of the lid should be warm.

Svetika, all multicooker has a teflon-coated bowl. But by the fall of this year, domestic manufacturers are planning to launch the production of multi-cooker bowls with super-coating. It will also be possible to restore the coating on old, scratched MB bowls.
RybkA
And I wrote that the coating is coal, not Teflon. I have Teflon in my rice cooker, so it is completely different to the touch.
Yana
But in my opinion, this coating is the same, only it deteriorates in different ways: the gray one bursts and scratches are obtained, and the black one falls off in pieces and chips form.
Svetika
Thanks a lot for the answers. I’ll have, as Yana said, to wait until the fall, or maybe I’ll decide on a slow cooker ... Today I leafed through the forum, except for the need for an outdoor timer, she does everything I need. Maybe this is stupidity, but I'm afraid of Teflon, which means I won't love the saucepan, I know myself!

If you do not want / are afraid of Teflon (quite reasonable), you should not wait for autumn or take a slow cooker. 1. Slow cooker and slow cooker, two big differences. 2. Here (on the forum) there are those who own such a device and there is such a Temka, look. And if there is a "way out" abroad, there is one without Teflon: - Unold Backmeister®Multi - 🔗 Sanyo has titanium coated models. Cukcoo has many models with ceramic-coated bowls, stainless steel and multilayer bronze with copper bowls. But, if there are no options to purchase "from there", then you are dear here and let the difference in price from very good. a well-known label (I will not poke my finger, some may peck) does not bother. A new saucepan for him will be exactly the same money, and judging by the reviews of local forum users and not only, it will have to be changed pretty soon. And you need it, add. money + nerves? And peeling Teflon will not definitely add health! P.S. If you are not lazy, check out my posts. In general, Google to help!

Thank you so much. I'm from Ukraine. I haven’t bought a slow cooker yet, in Uzhgorod we haven’t heard about such a miracle, I’m afraid to order via the Internet, the bowl is ceramic ... My friends bring catalogs from the Hungarian TESKO, there is nothing like that either. God willing, I'll get there myself in the fall, then I'll look seriously .... At the same time, there will be time to prepare.

Your profile is not specified.
For ceramics, you did not quite understand correctly. The bowls are mostly "luminescent", and the ceramic is only the inner coating / dusting. It looks like enamel (like on the toes), but not really. I saw a friend's husband, also brought from Korea, more sophisticated than my (former) Cuckoo, but also more expensive for money. Although when compared with Moscow prices, the savings are tangible. One minus, no rules. warranty. But looking at how the mother-in-law uses her, the other would have already died. Koreans are good fellows, they do it conscientiously, especially for themselves. And if there is an option through Hungary, take a look at Unold Backmeister®Multi, here's a Temka: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...tion=com_smf&topic=8558.0... The Germans also take their health seriously (not like the "defenders" of a famous label)! And the price is "healthy", if you look for it with delivery in Europe you can find EUR 130, yesterday I saw it in German Ibei for EUR 80. But the same minus, a guarantee.Although, as for me, this is not so important, because what they do for people differs in quality from what they do for the CIS.

"Buy a tiny converter" - Throw a link / info on that, please. I heard, but did not see such, and Russia is not Ukraine either. Not everything that you have is with us! By the way, Pakat (from Canada), also said that there would be problems because not only the voltage, but also the current frequency in the US is not the same as ours. And electronics on chips are very sensitive to such weights. Cartoon is not an iron, hairdryer, refrigerator, etc. But the guarantees, yok! But I want it, it's clay, and even a special Chinese one, though it's not very good. you bake, yes, okay (there is Morphy). If your option is exactly it, and I will order without a cute one (I think so), the price is acceptable. Borscht in the same as in a pot from the oven, and in Teflon, it is not recommended to cook sour dishes. And the taste of Teflon is not the same, I specially keep a copper pan (even my great-grandmother's).

Fanya, I have no doubt that you have them, they have always been here, even in Soviet times. Ask in a power tool store for a converter, or converter, or power supply - input 220, output 110. They differ only in power - choose the interval in which the power of your multi falls. I am now at the dacha, in the evening I will try to take a picture of one of my own.

Girls tell me, pl. A new mulinex multicooker has appeared. Upon closer examination, she has 4 modes - pilaf / buckwheat, stewing, they say. porridge and steamer / soup. No baking! The recipes in the instructions are pies and cakes in a removable double boiler basket, just covered with foil. Is it real, is it really possible to steam pies? Help! And then I bought it and I don't know what to do, should I take it? If I try to cook, I won't give it up!
sazalexter
marika77 A fairly high temperature is needed to make pies
For example, in Kuku there is a frying mode and there is an oven mode, so it fries more on the oven So you most likely will not bake pies in a plastic insert for steam
Rina
For the test, it is necessary for the proteins to coagulate; for this, the steam temperature is quite enough (depends on the heating duration). But ... part of baking is the caramelization of the starch in the crust. That is, theoretically, in a steam basket and in foil, it is quite possible to prepare the dough, but there will be no crust, rather, it will turn out to be something like "baking" in a micro wave.
By the way, the famous "chocolate on boiling water" for me in a mutiva cooker (directly in a saucepan) is also boiled rather than baked.
marika77

I also have Panas. I'm very happy with it. And the biscuits began to turn out only in mulk. In the oven, no way ...
And yeast pies there, too, can very well be baked. Only big and round ones. And turn it over.
I bake in mulk when I don't want to bother with the oven and baked in the summer. It's very hot from the oven. And also from saving electricity. I have an electric oven, "eats" 2.5 per hour

Help, please, decide on the choice of multi: I liked the Brand 37500 and Viconte VC-600. I read from Brand that everything burns, is that so? Is there a snooze timer in both? And what is better to buy from them, or to dig up and take a Panasonic?
sazalexter
Grid dig up and take Kuku1054 (just kidding)
Of all of the above, of course Panasonic! For which of the following cartoon characters will you find so many recipes? And it is unlikely that the Brand 37500 and Viconte VC-600 will have as many users ready to share their experience as there are on Panasonic.

Girls, explain to an illiterate fool why cook peas in a cartoon all night when you can on the stove for 1-2 hours? I will explain the essence of the question-I want a multicooker, but I do not catch up with the advantages over a gas stove. We practically don't cook porridge, all the first courses are fried. Maybe I don't understand something
SchuMakher
Quote: Marusya29

And the first dish that I cooked in it was pilaf with seafood.

isn't it mine?

To increase the boilability of peas on stewing, boil for a couple of minutes on "steaming", the water will boil and in such a slightly boiling state it will cook on "stewing" as much as you need. With such a "game" modes, my peas boil in an hour and a half, without pre-soaking
metel_007
I recommend buying a small cartoon first and see how it suits you.
No small one will do. I do not cook first courses less than 4-5 liters. If you take something
Rina
In my opinion, a small cartoon is either for one or two people who never or very rarely invite guests, or for a mother with a small child (cook porridge from 160 ml of cereal), or in a company for a large multi-rice-soon. ..- cooking, or calculated for travel (although the difference in size and weight is sensitive only for pedestrian travel).
