Girls, what do you cook on express mode in this multicooker?

what do you cook on express mode in this multicooker?
I usually do frying, or reheat something.
In general, everything that needs to be done quickly at high temperatures. Conveniently.

Girls, does anyone use a black Polaris bowl in Panasonic? How does it, the coating is good, last long?

Why test health? The cover of the Panasonic bowl is 100% safe. And I doubt Polaris, this is a Chinese development. Now it's not a problem to buy an additional bowl - even in the store, even on the Internet.

I agree completely, and in general, Panasonic has the only carbon coating on the bowl, which is the best for today.

Of course. Moreover, the "classic" Teflon coating has a huge disadvantage - if it is damaged, you cannot use a pan. And the coal coating has no such contraindications. My friends and I successfully use a bowl with a spoiled bottom for soup and even on the "second" food still does not burn. And in spoiled Teflon pans, everything starts to burn after being worn.

Nobody wants to help me
Help the hostesses, tell me, should the heating element wobble? On the right side, if you press on it, the left one rises! It seems to me that it should be tightly fastened entirely, and not stagger, sway ... I am worried that this is a marriage.
It seems to work fine, bakes perfectly, but it takes a very long time to cook on stewing and boiling. The mains voltage seems to be normal. I'm scaring myself - maybe she's married to me ?!
igorechek
You yourself wrote that the heating pancake lends itself to pressure.
For normal heating, full and tight contact of the pancake and the bowl is necessary, so it adjusts to the bowl, rising or lowering a little.

For normal heating, full and tight contact of the pancake and the bowl is necessary, so it adjusts to the bowl, rising or lowering a little.
If this were so, it would have happened evenly over the entire area, it would (damn it) then probably spring rather than warp, and together with the bowl inside, how will the distortion help to touch more tightly? It is physically impossible at all, together with a bowl.
igorechek
What does the skew have to do with it?
To ensure a tight contact between the two surfaces, a slight backlash on the bottom surface is sufficient. The bottom surface (pancake) just moving a little, adjusts to the bowl. That's all. A tight contact is ensured. And only the thermal sensor is spring-loaded. Do you really think that the Japs did not take everything into account when developing?
Diatima

What does the skew have to do with it?
Given that he is. And in general, I'm not going to argue with you about the backlash and the density of contact.
If I had not thought that the "Japs" made the multicooker better than all other brands, I would not have bought it.
igorechek
So I don't argue. You asked - I explained why the heating pancake is not rigidly fixed, no matter what you worry.
I say it again - you take a somewhat free position of the heater for the skew, so that it can tightly contact the bowl. In particular, for this, it is recommended to rotate the bowl slightly when lowering it into the body - for good contact.

I am a beginner - have been using a multicooker for 2 days. Tell me how to cook soup on a delayed start in Panasonic 181? I bought a slow cooker just to wake up in the morning, and here is a ready-made soup. But there is nothing in the instructions about this, and the delayed start is only for buckwheat, milk porridge and pilaf! I'm upset ((((((HELP !!!!
RepeShock

I can't even imagine what the soup should be in order to cook it on a delayed start ...
Apparently that is why he is not there.

You could have read the instructions in advance.
igorechek
Why delayed start for soup? After the main program, it switches to heating. Let it brew - it will be even tastier. You got up in the morning - and the rich soup is heated. Beauty.
Yulchik_s
And if the soup is heated for 9 hours, what will it be? It's delicious when just cooked.

RepeShok, for some reason there is a delayed start for soup in other multicooker.

Julia, I started using another 18 Panasonic model a long time ago and, believe me, during all this time there has NEVER been such a problem with the soup.
And if you really wanted to do without heating, this issue was resolved long ago and simply. If you still do not have a TIMER-SOCKET device, then almost ANY hardware store sells a timer-outlet (the simplest one is from 300 rubles). Take and connect your cartoon through it and set the shutdown time on it. Installation and connection work - 10 seconds! That's the whole "problem"!
And interesting to know, if possible. 9 hours heated + 3 hours cooking. Do you sleep 12 HOURS?
Yulchik_s
Thanks for the tip about the outlet timer, but I wanted to put all the ingredients in at 9pm and have the slow cooker turn on at 6pm and the soup was ready by 7.30pm. And so it turns out at 9, she turned on, by 10-10.30 the soup was cooked and until 7.30 is it heated? Does the soup cook in it for 3 hours? I cook it on the stove for 1-1.5 hours, and in the reviews they said that the cooking speed in the multicooker is the same as on the stove. And at the expense of sleep: I go to bed at 9 and get up at 6, while I get up 5-6 times a night to feed a 2-month-old baby, and I sleep about 6 hours a day (if I'm lucky and the baby sleeps well, he doesn't worried about colic, but it happens very rarely).
igorechek
I see, sorry for asking about the dream.
The process of cooking and maintaining the cooking temperature of a multi is different from that of a stove. Take my word for it, not as a user, but as a food eater. Panasonic does not chase cooking speed, this is not a pressure cooker. What for,? for some products, it is the languishing process that is important. Here, a gentle mode of cooking soup, and it is cooked like in a Russian oven due to the thermal insulation of the device. It tastes better than cooking in a saucepan on the stove. My wife and I have not been preparing exactly the soup for a long time for this reason, for a long time already on the stove. And in 3 hours it turns out rich and tasty. I am not saying that you cannot cook less. It is possible for 1.5. But not in a hurry.
And if like yours, then let it turn off at night with a timer and slowly cool down, "comes". It will cool down by morning, put the rest after eating into the refrigerator. I do like this.

Take me to your company, finally and I became the happy owner of a miracle pot.
For a very long time I was choosing between a multicooker and a pressure cooker. I rushed about, got inspired, read reviews - I got disappointed and everything in a circle. I thought I would never decide. But thank God, everything is behind, the choice has been made and I do not regret it a bit.
I love to cook, looking for different recipes and trying-trying-trying. The recipe book, in my opinion, is good, but small. I have already prepared pilaf, lazy cabbage rolls, milk millet porridge with pumpkin, cheesecake, pickle, buckwheat, compote. Everything worked out. Only pilaf and lazy cabbage rolls I changed a little to my taste, added more rice and cabbage, respectively.
From buying multi I felt one significant drawback. Everything is so tasty that it can be eaten in 1 day, I'm afraid my husband and I won't go through the door soon.
Nina
Hello everyone!!! I am going to purchase a multi of this model, but I am interested in one single question, can YOGURT be done in it? this factor will be decisive in my choice.
RepeShock

You can do it, but it will be dances with tambourines.
If this is important, then take another one with the "Yogurt" program.

And so MV is very good. Practically the best
Nina
and the last question, and a small portion of porridge, I have a small child, you can cook in it, is it probably on the express program? And everything went to buy)))
RepeShock

I don't know, to be honest, I didn't cook small portions. I read that they boil in small containers.
Read the topics, there are probably such methods and recipes here.

And I have the 181st previous model, there is no express in it.
Victory1984
About yoghurts. I thought last year to buy a yogurt maker, I studied this topic inside and out. I found one single model with a thermostat and auto shut-off, but it was not available. I tried to make it in a thermos and realized that I didn't need a yogurt maker. Indeed, for yoghurt, the maximum temperature is needed 40C (it feels a little warm), that is, you can not use the thermometer. A minimum of effort and body movements, and besides, the thermos perfectly keeps the temperature and takes up little space.

I also bought a multicooker for milk cereals for my child, but they turned out to be so tasty that we absorb them with the whole family.
Roza_Irina
Girls, but a new Panasonic model with a multi-cook has come out, there is a declared temperature of 40 *. This is if someone really needs yogurt.
Roza_Irina
I hope I will not be scolded for this message. I have not found anywhere whether it is possible to write such a message.

Girls, I sell my beautiful panasonic. Purchased in December 2012. I cooked a little, as there are many other multicooker pressure cookers. The bowl is in perfect condition, with only scapula marks. Reason for selling: I want to buy a new panasonic with a multi-cook. Price 1100 UAH Bargaining Is Possible.

My beauty has already found a new home.
Ksenia
Someone has a film on the front panel behind? It so happened that she accidentally touched herself almost immediately after buying (at home) and now, after each cooking, she moves further. Maybe it can be removed or glued, but with what?
Roza_Irina
And what kind of tape? There seems to be plastic everywhere, I did not observe the film.
Ksenia
On the menu screen. Maybe it's just protective?
Roza_Irina
Of course, protective. Feel free to shoot.
Ksenia
My husband tells me that she will be removed and the inscriptions on the menu buttons will not be visible
RepeShock

Take a photo, otherwise it is completely unclear what you are talking about. There, except for the protective film, nothing is removed if you are not defective. It is the same as on any other technique where you need to cover something with a film.
marinel
Please tell me on which mode to cook potatoes with dried mushrooms.
Roza_Irina
The fastest way to cook potatoes is pilaf and buckwheat. If you take your time, then on the extinguishing, but I think it will take a long time.
marinel
For the first time I cooked in a multicooker. She stewed potatoes with mushrooms on the "pilaf" mode. My family and I liked it, the multicooker pleased me. We must try to cook on a different mode - I want the liquid not to evaporate all.

Roza_Irina
Appetizing Maybe you should have turned it off a little earlier when you already saw what was ready? It's just that I already cook such dishes in pressure cookers. Maybe someone else will advise.
In order for the liquid to remain, you need to try stewing or soup. But it will probably cook until two o'clock, the oak potatoes remain for a very long time on stewing.
Roza_Irina
And I baked a honey cake. It turned out just as well as in the previous Panasonic. Baked for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

I read it, but since I never had a multicooker, I don't quite understand ... it says: "Stewing: cooking time up to 12 hours!" - can this be considered "languor" or will the temperature be higher? For example, will I make baked milk or not?
Manna
No, no, extinguishing is not languor. The languor takes place for a long time at temperatures of 70-80 ° C. Quenching is close to 98-100 ° C. But baked milk can be made in a shorter time than with languor. It will only be necessary to first check whether the milk will "run" on the Stew or not.
marinel
Tell me, please, on what mode to cook the broth, for "stewing" or "soup"? I poured cold water over the meat, turned on the "soup" mode, or am I doing it wrong?
Katris
And how, in general, does the "soup" mode differ from the "stewing" mode?
Manna
On the "Quenching" mode, one temperature is maintained throughout the entire program, and on "Soup" it boils, and then languishes. Usually the modes are set up like this. How exactly this model has, I cannot say for sure.
redcat
Specifically, on this one (at least on mine) in the "soup" mode, you can wait until it boils until it turns blue, so I first turn on the express train, and when it starts to boil, I throw in the vegetables and put it into soup or stew mode.
Elenka
Can I come to you with my experience ...
I have the usual 18 model MV Panasonic, the basic programs in it are the same. I'm making soup / broth ....
Indeed, it is better to set the steam for 10 minutes (as it is by default) and wait for boiling, at the same time remove the foam, and then cook-stew the broth-soup until tender.
But for myself, I recently discovered another wonderful method, or rather, I knew it, but resisted, because it was unusual cooking.
Set the BAKING program for 20-30 minutes or any favorite roasting mode and fry a piece of meat (preferably with a bone) with 1 tsp. oil on all sides with the MV lid open. Meanwhile, on the stove or email. kettle, boil water and pour the required amount. Set the EXTINGUISHING for 1-1.5 hours. For chicken and pork, 1 hour is enough.
You can, of course, pour cold water, but the cooking time will increase.
By the way, with this method, there is no foam, well, maybe a little, but you don't need to catch it. Blood and meat juices are "sealed" in a piece of meat during frying. The broth is obtained in this way transparent and rich.
I have long noticed that when preparing dishes of the peoples of the North Caucasus and Tatars, this is how they cook lagman, shurpa, etc. on an open fire. This makes sense.

Someone asked about the soup on the timer, you can put on the timer to cook the soup on MILK Porridge. But with meat, I would not put the water on all night.
If only try pre-fried ....
jora
Good day!
I will share my feelings from this model. This is the first MV. We chose for a long time, read reviews on various forums. As a result, we decided, we chose this Panasonic model. The main requirement for MB is safety of use and convenience in cooking! Additionally, the appearance. Stainless steel and black plastic are very suitable for our interior. And of course the manufacturer, there is a Panasonic bread maker, only positive emotions for it!
brought home last night, unpacked. First impressions are good. To be on the safe side, they set to steam for half an hour in the "double boiler" mode ... And as soon as the heating started, an unpleasant chemical smell spread through the kitchen .. Not to say that it was very strong, but sensitive. We thought a new technique might be the way it should be.
We decided to cook rice porridge on the timer in the "porridge" mode in the morning. took one of the recipes from the site. In the morning the porridge was ready. According to my feelings, it was overcooked, although it was not heated at all ... The bottom was burnt, not much, but it was burnt and stuck great! Soaked the bowl, and then washed it .. and here it is, the first scratches. We used a wooden spoon, with smooth round edges, and very neat !!!! In the process of washing the bowl, it became clear that the chemical smell does not come from the plastic in the CF, but from the outer surface of the bowl itself! Especially if you wet it with warm water. Inside, where the coating is, there was no smell, and there were no aftertastes in the taste of the porridge.
Now we sit and think. The criteria by which they were selected turned out to be fiction! I don’t want to talk about minor flaws, such as a timer step of 30 minutes, a loud buzzer after switching off.
Unpleasant impressions so far. I am delighted with the Bread Maker of this brand. but there the cover is slightly different and the bowl itself is much thicker. And it didn't smell like anything, not even a new one.
Question!!! Does anyone else have a cup of smell?

In general, immediately cook milk porridge in a new MV, and even with a delay ... well, you need to be not a mistress at all)))

jora, I did not have any smell from the bowl. I can't even imagine how scratches from washing can appear - it is so easy to clean. Maybe you got a fake?

Dear Raspberry Berry.
I'm glad you didn't face such a problem. But there is no need to write that these are not real things. Unfortunately, everything is exactly like that for me.
Custom posts are for advertising purposes, and denigrating one in favor of the other .. in my post this is not. And there is a normal question.
