By the way, milk barley porridge is also not cooked.

Oh ... can then start it immediately on the second cycle? a lot of slurry remains there ... and you really feel very little "undercooked" ..

I once cooked rice. I like it thinner, and I piled 1.5 liters of milk into 2 cups. I did it on Kasha. Didn't get enough money. Then I put it on for 1 hour to extinguish - it turned out to be an outright mess. But tasty

Yesterday I put the corn porridge on a delay, this morning I opened it, mixed it and left it on the heating for another 40 minutes
They began to eat, but undercooked, although liquid, there are grains on my teeth ... crying ..
I put the corn porridge in the morning so that it will stand on the heating for another 2-3 hours until it is eaten. Then the porridge turns out.

Elya_lug, congratulations, happy opening of the season!
Regarding the corn - girls, I don't know how you are with the assortment, I always take in the market corn semolina... This is a cross between kukur. cereals and chickens. flour, looks exactly like semolina, toko yellow. So it is cooked in a saucepan from the moment of boiling for 5-10 minutes. In the cartoon, it turns out prooooooo chic on the water with a delay, much more aromatic than in a saucepan. To taste and smell - like popcorn and glazed corn sticks drenched in hot milk. It is not necessary to keep this porridge on heating, it is even better to eat it than quickly, otherwise it will thicken strongly over time. You can add dried apricots, sesame - it's even sunnier. Highly recommend!

Helen!
Did you take cereals no more than 1 multi-cup? Try another experiment - run the program 2 times. Try it right now - maybe the voltage in the network is low. I have about 200 volts in the network - I make any baked goods for 65 minutes. + 20 min., Despite the fact that the recipe costs, say, 65 min. Otherwise it is not baked. Maybe you have such a problem because of the stress?
I took one glass of cereals per liter of milk, but I also thought about the stress.
I cooked charlotte in mv, I had to double the baking time, but it worked.
I have already written to the manufacturer, they say that you don't understand, go to the service. While I decided to master it by trial and error, it is good that there are examples of "other people's" mistakes - it turns out easier.
And yet I want to buy a pressure cooker for my device)

Let's talk about Panasonic multicooker too.
As far as I know, they are now 4 models presented in Russia. I had to study the Internet on this topic
I found a lot of interesting information on the models, for example, the TMH18 and TMH181 models are the same and differ only in color, but the TMJ181 model, in addition to its design, has 4 more automatic programs. And the TMH10 model differs from the TMH181 / 18 and TMJ181 series only in volume and color: 2.5 liters and 4.5 liters, respectively. And recently I saw another model 101 for 2.5 liters with a minimum set of functions, that is, it only has the main 4 modes plus heating, such a slow cooker is most likely suitable for those who constantly make porridge for small children, live alone, or, for example, students are quite an excellent model.

Multicooker Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW - reviews and impressions
And only half a kilo of cottage cheese, 3 eggs and a handful of semolina!
redcat
kadoda, I have it as usual: for a recipe, but rather a principle, since I usually make cottage cheese myself or take it from the market, but it can be of any different fat content, density, moisture content. In any case, I take eggs at the rate of 1 per 200 g of cottage cheese. I beat (earlier in a Bosch combine, now the long-awaited Kitchen) proteins with sugar (approx. 600-700 g cottage cheese glasses) and vanilla (a pinch of vanillin or a packet of vanilla sugar) until strong peaks, stir in the yolks at low speed. Separately, I punch the cottage cheese with a blender, I can add lemon or orange zest to it according to my mood. There - with half a glass of dry semolina. If it turns out thickly - not scary, the eggs are still in line. Here we hold them until uniform, but without fanaticism, so as not to release air from the bubbles, we should get a mass in consistency like whipped cream approximately. Put everything in a multi saucepan greased with butter and sprinkled with corn (or plain) flour and on baking for 65 minutes. FSE! Enjoy! Cooled down is even tastier, if, of course, it has time to cool down ...

Uraaa! I'm in your sandbox now too))
Yesterday I bought this wonderful baby with my fiance - full panties of happiness))
Unlike many, I was not at all tormented by the question of which one to buy.
Probably, I am the dream of any seller: I came, I saw, after 5 minutes I already bought)
This has always been and has never been wrong with the choice.
Yesterday: accidentally went with a loved one to an electrical store, accidentally my gaze fell on a rack with multicooker,
I remembered the stories of my mother's friend, what an indispensable thing in the household is, capriciously stamped her foot and said: "I want!" ...
and my "I want" is the law))
even after the groom said, "Choose!" I didn't suffer at all, my gaze immediately fell on the Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW multicooker,
its elegant, fashionable design immediately fell in love with my eyes, I imagined how it would fit beautifully into our kitchen, so the beautiful story of the sales assistant was nothing more than a minor addition to the already fully formed choice)
Yes, by the way, they bought it for $ 155, made in Thailand (then I looked on the websites that it is more expensive in Russia)
And only at home I went online to carefully read what I bought.
And, about joy, probably so many good reviews about other multicooker, no.
I was impressed by how many all kinds of proven recipes for her, moreover, from ordinary people, from ordinary products, and not all famous chefs who cook from unprecedented ingredients.
So I got to this forum, read EVERYTHING)
I like the warm atmosphere here, there is a lot to learn, learn from experience, it's a pity the activity is small, but these are all trifles)
I probably already got everyone reading this post, so I'll get down to business)
Of course, I decided to try my cartoon in action.
I decided from the simplest. My man loves meat, unlike me. If I normally eat pork in small quantities,
then I don't like beef, because of its hardness, dryness and because it chews for a long time, so it was the beef that I decided to try to cook first.
Cut it into medium-sized pieces, add a little salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice, cut a small fresh onion into rings, and add a few sprigs of dill. While I was running around on business, my meat stood for an hour, then I put it with all the simple ingredients in foil and wrapped it. I poured 1 liter of water into the multicooker bowl, put a container on top - a double boiler, in it - meat wrapped in foil.
I closed the lid, set the "Steam cooking" mode for exactly an hour and went for a walk with the dog.
Imagine my amazement when I put the finished product into plates and tasted it, I never ate such a juicy and soft beef, it practically melted in my mouth. I even reconsidered my views on this meat, not my favorite. Just lick your fingers, I didn't notice I ate as much as I don't eat meat in a month))
And this morning I experimented on any porridge. In the evening I washed and soaked 1 multi-glass of millet overnight, in the morning I poured it into the bowl and added
4 multi-glasses of liquid (2 store milk 3.2% + 2 water), 2 teaspoons of sugar, a little butter and a little salt, then turned on the "Porridge" mode and began to wait anxiously for what would happen. I didn’t dare to go for a walk with the dog and even leave the kitchen for a short while, after reading you, I was afraid that the porridge might burn, start running away through the steam release valve, or be undercooked.
BUT all my fears were in vain), after about an hour (53 minutes), the cartoon happily informed me that breakfast was ready))
Opening the lid, I found there perfectly cooked milk-wheat porridge)
Nothing burnt, did not run out, boiled perfectly (no more, no less), was not dry, not liquid, exactly as I imagine this breakfast should look like). In addition, it was unusually airy and light, so it melted in my mouth for sure) Even my beloved, who does not like porridge in milk, ate a large plate with pleasure)
In general, I am very pleased with such a wonderful purchase))
Now, my cartoon prepares cherry and mint compote.
I took about 500g of fresh cherries, peeled off the stalks, washed and put them in a bowl along with the seeds, added 200g of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dry mint, cut half a lemon into rings, poured 2.2 liters of water. I set the "Compote" mode for 1 hour, as it cooks, I turn it off and let it brew for 3 hours, with the lid closed. I'm sure the result will please me too), in the summer heat, such a refreshing drink will be just right)
I hope I didn't tire you too much with my chatter))?
I just wanted to share with those who are in this thread))
Thanks to everyone who wrote the recipes above, I will definitely learn from your experience, after all, I'm just a novice hostess, I still have a lot to learn)
I think it's just right on such forums - I will gain invaluable theoretical experience, which I will immediately try in practice and please my beloved),
then he will definitely marry me)) otherwise I am now, as it were, on probation))

Toko has already been devoured - sadness
Masha 1990
Thanks for the tips above)
I want to share my experience, I don't think it will be a revelation for anyone, but still.
Yesterday I cooked borsch in the cartoon.
All products listed below are fresh this year)
I can’t give you how much and what, up to grams, but I think this is not necessary - any housewife knows the necessary proportions)
So that's it.
I took beef on the bone (about 300-400gr), so that the borscht was transparent, without flakes and so as not to open the cartoon during cooking, to remove the noise, I did the following.
While I was busy with vegetables. I put the meat on the stove, let it boil, waited until all the noise came out,
then turned it off, took out the meat, one might say this was preliminary preparation)
Vegetable composition:
- 4 medium, fresh potatoes;
- 3 small, fresh carrots;
- 2 small, fresh beets;
- 3 small fresh onions
- about 100 grams of fresh peeled green peas (I just ended up in the house, I used beans instead);
- fresh cabbage;
- 1 sweet green pepper;
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic;
- dill and parsley.
Finely chopped the onion, small cubes of potatoes, coarsely grated beets and carrots,
she did not crush the garlic, but crumbled it very finely.
And then ATTENTION.
I am at least trying for a healthy diet), so I decided to cook WITHOUT frying, it is much healthier for our health, no excess cholesterol and carcinogens. In addition, she saved herself from unnecessary manipulations with the cartoon.
Therefore, in the multicooker bowl I put our meat, all the chopped and shabby vegetables
(potatoes, beets, carrots, onions, green peas, bell peppers, garlic).
Then I poured it all with warm water = 2 liters, after that I chopped as much fresh cabbage as needed for a good consistency of borscht (this is a matter of taste: someone loves liquid, someone loves it thickly, and I am something in between), then instead of tomato paste, I added twisted tomatoes with bell pepper (home-rolled from last year), also a little vegetable oil, just as much as I would use for frying, bay leaf, peppercorns, a little 1/3 teaspoon ground red pepper for piquancy and 2/3 tablespoon of salt.
That's all our simple ingredients - these products are simple and accessible to everyone, of course, instead of fresh vegetables, you can use those that are available.
You can also add or subtract some ingredients according to your personal taste.
After "our mixture") was completed, I gently mixed it, closed the multi lid,
I set the "Steam cooking" mode for 10 minutes and pressed "START".
I did this in order for our future borscht to boil as quickly as possible, and this is the fastest mode for such a case.
After it boiled (it is easy to understand by the intense stream of steam from the valve or by the countdown, as it becomes 9 minutes on the counter), I turned off this mode.
And immediately set the main mode for this dish - "Soup" mode, for 1.5 hours, pressed "START".
On this my modest participation in the preparation of borscht was over, it took some 15-20 minutes, then the main work was done by the cartoon
During this time, I managed to clean the apartment, walk the dog, after which the signal sounded that my borsch was ready)
I turned off the heating mode and unplugged it from the mains, opened the lid, put the prepared, chopped greens there and closed.
I read that you need to throw greens 10 minutes before the end or put and leave on heating mode.
But why ? why disrupt the process and open it, why burn excess electricity?
For greenery, the heat inside is more than enough, it creates the effect of a thermos.
She let it brew a little and after half an hour called everyone to the table.
To be honest, I was a little worried, because mix all the products at once, pour water,
turn on and no longer touch the cooking process, I have never tried or seen with my own eyes)
But my fears, as usual, were in vain)
The aroma of borscht, even during the cooking process, made us all swallow saliva), especially the delicate smell of young garlic ... mmm))
I was also worried about the cabbage, I thought it would be completely boiled, especially since I had it fresh, but NO. )
The cabbage was not boiled, like all other vegetables - they all retained their shape)
The potatoes were not "glass", although there was vinegar in my rolled tomatoes.
I guess with consistency and salt)
If I didn’t know that there is no frying, I would never have believed)
The borscht itself was transparent, not muddy, of a beautiful live color)
Well, I generally keep quiet about the taste, I haven’t tried something like this for a long time, very rich and bright taste, just COMBINATION))
and most importantly, it is an absolutely pure, natural, healthy product)

They began to love me even more))
of course, I hardly discovered America for anyone, well, what if it's useful for beginners)
Bon appetit, Everyone))

Yes, oatmeal runs in almost all mv, do not be surprised. They adapt to cook it in every way, but it seems to me that it is better on the stove. And in no case should you leave her unattended.

I have this only if the mode is set incorrectly. I cook oatmeal ONLY on the "milk porridge" mode. a failure can occur if I rearrange the time on the timer (like I changed my mind and I need to change the time) - I can just forget to set the mode after shutdown, it automatically stands on buckwheat ...

Hello everybody )
I want to share with you my experience)
This time I made a sweet, rich bread with raisins and cinnamon)
Ingredients:
Structure :
- 250 ml. milk
- depending on the quality of wheat flour 6-8 multi glasses
- 1-2 eggs.
- 1.5 tsp. dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 100 gr. raisins
And a short instruction)
Break the eggs, add sugar to them, beat with a fork until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour warm milk into a very large bowl (if it was cold, then you need to warm it up) add dry yeast and salt to it, mix thoroughly until completely dissolved, add cinnamon (I know, there are people who do not like cinnamon, it is not necessary to add it, but for me personally like it. Instead, you can put vanilla sugar = 1 sachet)
Add our eggs with sugar and vegetable oil there.
At this stage, in order not to suffer and mix everything manually, I used the mixer at minimum speed.
After everything has dissolved, we begin to gradually add flour in 1 multi-glass.
As you can see that the mixer is not doing well, we continue to knead the dough by hand.
Do not be lazy, there should be no lumps left.
Add flour and knead until the dough ceases to stick to your hands.
When it starts to hold its shape, for convenience, you can knead it on the table, after having greased the table with oil.
We add flour and knead thoroughly until we get a bun that keeps its shape, does not creep and does not stick to anything.
After that, transfer the dough back to the bowl, cover with a towel, and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
During this time, the dough will do, then grease the table with oil, pour 100g on top. raisins
(you can add ground nuts, candied fruits, finely chopped dried apricots, sunflower seeds to your taste -
it all depends on your preference. I limited myself to only raisins).
Next, we transfer our dough to the table and carefully stir in the raisins until it is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
After we grease the bottom of the multicooker bowl with oil, put our dough in the center. Turn on the heating mode, close the lid and leave for 20 minutes,
then DISCONNECT the heating mode, open the lid, cover the multicooker with a towel and leave for 40 minutes.
During this time, our dough will approximately double in volume and fit well into the bowl, that is, it will take its place correctly.
Completed preparations, you can bake.
We turn on the "BAKING" mode for 60 minutes.
After the lapse of time, we take out the bowl and turn it over, onto a cutting board covered with a towel
(don't worry, you don't have to pick it out, it comes out easily).
We take our semi-finished bread with oven mitts and put it back into the multicooker bowl.
I hope everyone understood that we turned our bread over, so that it had a beautiful, golden brown crust on all sides
Then turn on the "BAKING" mode again, but for only 25 minutes.
When the signal sounds - our sweet bread with raisins and cinnamon is ready)
After you take it out, it is better to let it cool in a towel so that it gives off excess moisture.
After, you can enjoy)
It itself is very tasty, airy and aromatic it will turn out,
but with milk or tea it is especially TASTY))
No store-bought buns and similar pastries can be compared, neither in quality nor in taste, with such a homemade bread))
Yes, and I call it bread, only because of its size and shape, but this is a real big bun with cinnamon and raisins)
Stay fresh, such a bread, can be 2-3 days if you store it in a towel or in the refrigerator.
But in my young family of 2 people, he does not last even a day))
Have a nice apatite!)

Girls, and I tried to cook milk porridge on "Stew" (I read about it somewhere, but forgot to do it). So, I really liked these cereals. I bet 1.30 hours at once, usually, after 40-50 minutes, everything is ready, but it depends on the cereal whether to keep it until the end of the program or not.
I also began to pour less liquid, not 1: 5, but 1: 4.5.
And most importantly, at any time you can open the lid and control the process
In general, they say to me. I liked the porridge more on "Stew".

I share my personal experience in baking a cupcake - "Zebra" in our favorite cartoon

Ingredients:
Wheat flour (premium grade) - 2.5-3 multi glasses
Sugar - 2 multi glasses
Chicken egg - 4 pcs.
Sour cream 20-25% - 200g.
Butter (margarine) - 200g.
Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
Baking powder for dough (slaked soda) - 10g, and soda - (0.5 h. L.)
Cocoa powder - 2 sec. l.

The recipe is simple and quick.
Beat the sugar with the eggs with a mixer until a stable foam is obtained - this is important.
We heat the butter (I took margarine for baking) to a liquid state.
I did it in the microwave in 1 minute (on the stove).
Add ghee (important (!) - not hot), along with vanilla sugar to the beaten eggs - beat thoroughly.
Add sour cream, beat well.
Next, add flour (preferably sifted) and slaked soda with vinegar, I added a bag of 10 grams of baking powder for the dough.
In order for the mass to be homogeneous and without lumps, mix thoroughly or beat with a mixer,
Then we divide our batter into 2, preferably equal parts.
Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to one and mix thoroughly.
The dough is ready.
Lubricate the bowl with vegetable oil.
Then, in the center of the bowl, first put 2 tablespoons of light dough, then dark, and repeat so until the dough is over.
As a result, you will see a picture - the dough spread from the center to the edges of the bowl in light and dark waves.
To make our zebra cupcake look even more attractive, let's add some decor)
We take a toothpick and draw the rays from the center to the edges (not only along the surface, but throughout the entire thickness of the dough)
I got it like this:
Multicooker Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW - reviews and impressions
Then we turn on the "Baking" mode for 65 minutes, but this is not enough, so we add another 20 minutes in the same mode, 85 in total.
Depending on the power of the network, the time may differ slightly, so I advise you to check after the first 65 minutes and the added time, our cupcake with a toothpick, if nothing sticks to it, then it is DONE)
What I ended up with in the photo below.
The taste is magical) Juicy, soft, melts in the mouth. A day later, it retained its freshness and taste - they did not change at all)
Bon Appetit everyone)

It turned out to be soft, airy, and a little too sweet. And not tall. This is probably due to my mistake, I think.

I think it's not about the egg, one thing certainly doesn't make the weather.
Most likely you did not beat the eggs with sugar well enough, I beat with a mixer for 10 minutes exactly, until a thick, stable foam - this time
and two - most likely, you did not sift the flour, and this must be done if you want it to turn out lush and tall.
Next time everything will work out) Good luck)

This is the first time I came out so tall and handsome, I am very pleased with the multicooker
Made from 8 eggs, and 2 cups of sugar and flour (ordinary glasses) rose right up to the lid!

and I nevertheless decided to take another new model, although the very first one has been plowing for 6 years already. Still 5000r. not 6500))
I see that you have a cartoon redmond (or a pressure cooker?) In your profile - and how do you like it against the background of Panas? And why still Panas, and not more sophisticated or pressure cooking?

I have a redmond - it is a multicooker 4502.
Why is Panas better for me ---- he cooks everything more tenderly... The build quality is excellent, the brand lives up to its fame!
If my Redmond fries, then so that then you do not know how to scrape off .. soaking for a very long time. There is no water collector, steam comes out, but still condensate collects under the lid on the body itself, there is a place for these puddles - well, just a straight surface where they accumulate, and if almost so, right into the soup))
I often cook the soup in Redmond, sometimes I cook the carcass on a multi-cook. I made pastries 1 time, not happy. You can live and be friends with him. but nevertheless the panasonic is better. I use it all the time, along with Panasonic.

Panas:
For 6 years, Panas did not fall off, and for Redmond, the plank on the case fell off a year later, now he is about one and a half. Maybe I'm the only one so .. I don't know, but I also had a pressure cooker - okay life .. I also really liked it, but Panas is better - that's why I bought a new model.

Duck I also love him, and having had the experience of buying a little Redmond, I began to love even more. And I asked because we can be the only one so fussy. Although in several parameters Panas loses ... slow. But that's another love story.

But that's another love story.
New love? But what about "old love does not rust", etc.?

And she does not rust, that love, it is just that now milk porridge and broths are cooked slowly. But the soup is already made from this panasik broth. As well as baked goods and rice. But buckwheat is now only slow.

Well, Svetochka is a mischievous ... .. Well, as soon as I saw that question .. and then I read the answer, ... well, I think .. once again .. in a whisper - so that no one would hear ... amused my vanity ... .. He's the best - the best ...: yes: have you seen the photo of how my Panasik was flooded with jam?
Stafa
I saw it, so I cook jam either in HP, or in a slow one, Schaub did not run anywhere.

Yes, I'm my own fault. but this is all garbage .. the meaning is that it works - darling, even after such a "flood" .. At that I set the "double boiler" mode for a couple of minutes, and I was "pulled", well, I forgot ... but on stewing that year, you know how much apple jam I made ... mmmmmm .... yummy ... .. I'll be in this again! if there are a lot of apples again ..

Yes, out of eight. Once I read a recipe called "super-biscuit". For cakes, as I understand it.
I also did it for the holiday, I divided the dough into two parts, added lemon to one, cocoa to the second.
In the context, it turned out very beautiful, and the taste is what you need, the aroma is generally super!
