Yes, these starter cultures (bacterial concentrate) are stored in an unopened bottle for no more than 6 months in the freezer - and when you make the starter culture, then no more than two weeks in the refrigerator.

Or rather, I wear them to the microwave in it, back, then to the yogurt maker with milk and sourdough, I put it in the yogurt maker and then the yogurt lives in it in the refrigerator. It turned out to be more convenient for me than they stood in bulk in the cold.
